I woke up feeling good. Today I'm gonna meet Jae at lunch. Last night after dinner i messaged him that we can catch up at lunch since i can take a break in lunch time from all the office work.

I did my routine and wore a mid thigh full sleeves black dress . It was simple and elegant. With stud earrings and matching necklace. 

It isn't a date, is it?

After what feels like forever, lunch break came so i grabbed my bag and phone and headed towards the reception.
Jae said he'd pick me up so i was gonna wait at the reception.

"Are you going somewhere?" Hana asked eyeing my bag.

"Yes on lunch" i said tried to act casually.

"With whom?" She asked grinning.

"Um.. a friend" i said looking everywhere but her.

"A boyfriend?" She asked still grinning.

"Jae is not my boyfriend" i said quickly.

"Jae? That handsome highschool mate for yours? The one you had a crush on?" She said a little too loud.

"Keep it down will you?" I hissed.

"Sorry but the good news is you're getting somewhere finally" she said smiling cheekily.

"We're just gonna have lunch" i said slowly.

"You mean a date?" She said with raised eyebrows.

"No it's not a date" i said calmly.

"Who else is gonna be there?" She asked.

"Just me and him" i said biting my lip.

"Then it's a date" she said clapping her hands.

I wanted to argue but my phone buzzed. Jae was here so i said goodbye to Hana.

When i sat in the car, he drove off.

"How are you?" He asked eyes on the road.

"I'm good, you?" I asked in response looking at him.

"I'm fine too, do you have a place in mind?" He asked.

"Um.. anywhere is fine" i said carefully.

"It's this place i really like, let's go there" he said taking a turn.

It was a small restaurant, with 10 to 12 tables around. But the interior was cute. It was peaceful.

When we settled on a table, we ordered for the food right away. We made small talks while waited for our food.

"So how's work going?" He asked drinking his water.

"It's fine, I'm learning everyday" i said shrugging.

"I can help you if you want" he said smiling.

"Uncle Han is already helping me" i said chucking.

"But if I'd help you, it would be more fun" He said grinning.

"I have no doubt in that" i said laughing.

"So what did you do in the US?" He asked curiously.

"Just studied, sometimes sneak out to party but that didn't happen much" i said truthfully.

"No boyfriend?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Why would you think that?" I asked back.

"Well..look at you" he said leaning back in his chair.

"No i don't have a boyfriend" i said.

Did he complimented me? Or flirted with me? 

And then our order came and we started to dig in.

"Enough with me, what did you do?" I asked.

"Joined dad's business and opened up a club which you have already seen" he said shrugging.

"Girlfriends?" I asked playfully.

"Quite actually" he said chuckling.

"Oh" i said a little hurt though i didn't show it.

"Yeah i hope you don't mind" he said looking at me.

"No not at all, why'd you think that?" i said laughing a little.

"We were sort of a thing before so" he said trailing.

Oh he remembered but he still dated? 

"Yeah" i said awkwardly.

Jae payed the bill though i insisted on paying but he didn't let me. We walked towards his car.

We sat in the car and his phone rang. He picked it up.

"I'm away....no can you tell them to wait for about 20 minutes... I'll call you back" he cut the call.

"What happened" i asked concerned.

"I have to be at office immediately" he said starting the engine.

"Your office is at the other side, you'll be late, I'll call my driver he will pick me up" i said.

"Are you sure?" He asked looking at me.

"Yeah no big deal, you go ahead" i said unlocking my seat belt.

"Thank you so much, and sorry for leaving you like this" he said.

"It's fine" i said smiling.

"I'll see you then" he said and then he drove off.

I called the driver and sat on the bench outside the restaurant.
