You got home arrest for the whole week by Daehyun. You need to get well as soon as possible if you don’t want this to get drag and worst. Jihyun, Youngjae and Jongup never miss out giving you notes for a week. You are grateful enough for them to visit and lending you their notes so you won’t miss out your study.

“Is something bother you, Reenie?” Jihyun asks, cutting some fruits for you. You shook, eating the peeled apple. She has been taking care of you after school for a week as Daehyun still has his community service. You sigh, you also still have a week of community service but this happens. After ensuring your needs fulfilled, Jihyun leaves you to rest.

“Baby girl~! Your lovable brother is home~~!”

“Yah! Be quiet!” Youngjae shouts.

“Hey! It’s my home!”

“So?! Reen is resting! You shut up!” You hear Jihyun shouts.

“No!” The shout tournament start, fighting over who is the loudest.

“GUYS!” You shout from your room, stopping the fight. You heard both of them apologize. You sigh, it’s never going to be quiet if the couple meets Daehyun.

“Reen! I bought you dinner. Let’s eat together after that nuisances go home.” Daehyun says cheerfully.

“Who do you call nuisances?!” Youngjae argues.

“BOTH OF YOU! YOO YOUNGJAE AND LEE JIHYUN!”

“GUYS!” Again, you shout stopping them. After calms down, Youngjae and Jihyun went home. Daehyun prepares for dinner while you choose a movie to watch together.

You wash your dishes after dinner. You will be going back to school tomorrow, deep inside you are excited to see your friends again but you also fear if you bump into Wonhee later.

“Oh yeah, the lunchbox.” You shiver at the thought of a week untouched lunchbox. What if it’s already mouldy? You take the lunchbox to the sink but unexpectedly, you open to see the lunchbox is clean. You see a piece of paper in the lunchbox. You shove it in your pocket to read it later.

After dishes, you lay on your bed. Your hand unconsciously searching for your phone. You sigh, remember your phone is lost. 

Himchan checks your phone. He unable to return it to Daehyun due to sudden meeting outside the school and Daehyun has been busy with mock exams. He sighs, caressing the phone screen. He misses you, he couldn’t deny that. He wants to see you, he even wants to pay you a visit but Yongguk stops him telling him it’s non-etiquette. He notices your phone rarely rings. The only calls you got were from your parents, Daehyun and Jihyun.

“So, she’s a loner…” He presses the button, looking into your smile. He couldn’t help but feel jealous with Daehyun for always by your side also receiving your brightest smile daily.

 “Jung… You are something…”

“Reenie~!” You got a tight hug from Jihyun as soon as you step into your class. Youngjae and Jongup watch you got breathless with Jihyun’s tight hug.

“J- Jihyun. I can’t breathe!” You try to escape from her hugs. Jihyun pulls away, notices something on your hand.

“Wow, new phone?”

“Actually it’s my old phone. I just gonna use it for a while.” You smile. You only will use this phone to call and text Daehyun later. You take your place and chats with your friends. Himchan walks into the classroom, the class gone silence. He saw you in your seat and smiles. He continues to check the class attendance and briefly start the day.

“Jung.” He calls you out. You jolt from your seat, looking at him.

“Yes?”

“Come to see me after this class.” He says and starts his Music class. Jihyun slowly turns to you and whispers.

“Maybe he wants to talks about your absence?” You shook. Himchan knows about your absence, Daehyun already notifies him… Right?

After the class end, Himchan heads to the teaching office as you follow him from behind slowly. You already nervous about him being your crush, now he wants to speak to you alone? You gulp down your saliva hard.

“Come inside.” Himchan opens the door for you. You bow slightly, walking into the counselling room. Why here? Himchan takes a sit as you sit in front of him nervously. He couldn’t help but let out a chuckle watching you nervous.

“I won’t eat you, Jung.”

“I know…” You fidget your skirt, looking down. Outside the room, Jihyun, Youngjae and Jongup try to eavesdrop at the door.

“Why Mr Kim wants to meet Reen alone?” Jihyun whispers to Youngjae.

“I’m not a psychic, Lee Jihyun” Youngjae whispers back. Jongup presses his ear close to the door, trying to hear what you and Himchan talking.

“What if they are…” Jihyun says, gaining attention the boys. She grins gleefully.

“Dating?” Both of the boys groan. That is impossible. Jihyun pouts watching the reaction from them.

“They barely know each other, Jiji. However, I do admit both of them weirdly match made from heaven.”

“Have you gone to heaven, Jae?” Jongup asks innocently before receiving a soft punch on his head. Youngjae mouths him ‘Stupid’ but Jongup ignores him, continue to eavesdrops.  

“Relax Jung. I only want to talk to you.”

“Am I in trouble?” Himchan shooks, assure you. You let out a relief sigh, looking at Himchan.

“How are you feeling now?” Himchan asks.

“I’m fine now… Thank you for your understanding, Mr Kim.” You smile at him making him dazes. That smile.

“May I know what exactly happened that day? It is serious that I need to report it, Jung.” Himchan explains how he found you the other day while you already in the cloud nine knowing Himchan is your knight in shining armour.

“Jung?”

“Yes, sir?!” You jolt up. Himchan looks at you, puzzles. Didn’t she hear what he said?

“I advising you to report this, it is a quite serious issue. You are injured and take off school for a week. The upper high won’t take this lightly.” Himchan says seriously. You take a moment to think of the consequence if you report it.  

“I’m sorry, Mr Kim. I don’t want this issue getting bigger as it is… I don’t want to report it. What done is done. I’m fine now.” You slightly bow your head. Himchan sighs at your answer. 

“I will respect your wish. However, if this thing keeps going. I will have to report it without your consent.” He got up and walks to you. You take aback by his sudden move. Himchan stands in front of you, his right hand in his pocket. You couldn’t help but appreciate the amazing sight of Kim Himchan.

“Here. It’s yours.” Himchan pulls out your phone.

“My phone! Thank you, sir! Thank you!” You beam happily, taking your phone. You instantly hug Himchan tight. Himchan froze. After a moment, you realize your action and immediately pull away. You can feel your face turn bright red.

“I… I’m sorry!” You bow at startled Himchan.

“Uh… Oh… No problem, Jung. It’s a pleasure, I mean, I’m happy to see you reunite with your phone.” What am I talking about? Himchan scolds himself. You hold your laugh. It is your first time seeing your teacher losing his cool.

“How can I repay you?” You look into his eyes, feeling grateful. His eyes are so beautiful. He smiles.

“It’s fine, Jung. It’s my responsibility to take care of my students.” He politely refuses it. He keeps reminding the limit between him and his students. However, looking you slightly upset with his refusal make him guilty.

“How about another lunchbox?” He said. Lunchbox is okay. Maybe. You grin happily. A lunch it is!

“I will cook you the best lunchbox ever!” You say excitedly. Himchan smiles, ruffling your hair. Both of you froze. This atmosphere becomes awkward.

“What are you three doing? Why you are not in your class?” A voice from outside made both of you jump. Himchan walks to the door and opens to see Jihyun, Youngjae and Jongup lining up in front of Yongguk. He sighs.

“What are you doing?”

“Uh… We… uh… I’m sorry…” Jihyun tries to explain but gives up as she notices a sharp gaze from Yongguk. Himchan tells Yongguk to let them go. Yongguk warns them before he notices you are behind Himchan.

“You shouldn’t be soft with your kids, Himchan. Be careful.” Yongguk says and walks away. Himchan watches him go before telling his students to go back to the classroom with a warning to never eavesdrop again.
