Bogum, Jingoo, Joohyuk, and Taehyung arrived at the restaurant where they were supposed to eat

“Hello? Is this restaurant open?” Jingoo asked while looking around

“I think no one is here? We should go”  Bogum said turning around ready to leave 

“Don’t be ridiculous the door is open it’s impossible that no one is here.” Taehyung said who is also looking around 

“We’re sorry-“ someone said out of nowhere that makes the 4 of them startled    They looked to the person who is owner of the voice and boy they were all shocked

“Ankle girl?” Joohyuk said pointing at her

“What are you doing here?” Jingoo said after recovering from shock

“Where did you come from?” Taehyung asked curiously

“Don’t tell me your following us all along?” Bogum said with an annoying tone and Irene just chuckled

“Huh! You wished I was following you.. Who will be in the right mind to follow people like you guys! I won’t count this as an accident but on purpose, are you guys my stalker or something.... perhaps you guys like me. I tell you right now that you guys don’t have a chance with me.. NEVER AND I WON’T ALLOW IT!” Irene said being more annoyed than ever

they all chuckled to what she said, especially Bogum who’s walking up to her and looked at her directly to the eyes

“Don’t be ridiculous. We? Like you? You must be dreaming. WE WON’T. NEVER.” Bogum said getting closer and closer to her, good thing theirs a counter in the middle to prevent Bogum from coming any closer. Irene gulped and straitened her posture

“Then what the hell are you guys doing here?” Irene said looking at them one by one

“Are you dumb, stupid, or just simply both. Can’t you see it’s a restaurant. We’re here to eat,” Bogum said adding more fuel to now Irene’s boiling anger

“I know that this is a restaurant! Are you also dumb, stupid, or both can’t you see the sign at the door that this restaurant is closed!” Joohyuk, Bogum, Jingoo, and Taehyung looked at the door and read ‘Sorry, were closed for today!” and they all looked back to Irene who’s hands are on her waist

“See!” Irene said

“Then why are you here? Your not robbing the place are you?” Joohyuk said

“Listen I’m not  robber-“ Irene said but Jingoo cut her off

“Miss, Your young and beautiful. We thought that your innocent but I guess visuals and first encounter doesn’t say it all.” 

Irene just widen her eyes and sighed completely dumbfounded 

“You guys are unbelievable. I’m the-“ Irene was also cut again by Bogum

“Turn yourself at the police or we will.”

“If theirs someone who must turn to the police it’s you guys who’s making some stupid assumptions!” Irene nearly shouted

“Is these an emergency your talking about? Playing with our kindness especially mine. If I know the your a robber I shouldn’t have brought you to my house, did you use special effects to make you feel sick?” Bogum said looking at Irene unbelievably. Irene just sighed and put her palm on her forehead and looked at Bogum

“If I’m a robber then I could have rob your place while your sleeping! I don’t care if you will believe me or not but I didn’t used you guys. This restaurant belongs to my-“ Irene did not finished when someone interrupted again

“CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE STOP INTERRUPTING AND MAKE ME EXPLAIN!” Irene said totally loosing it and looked the door to see Rose, Seulgi, and Sungkyung looking shocked not because of Irene but because of the boys

“Good thing you guys are here. Please explain to this boys that I’m not a robber!” Irene said going up to them and looking at the boys   

“Yah, How?” Rose said still shocked and in awe

“What?” Irene said in confusion looking at them

“Irene do you know them?” Seulgi asked looking at Irene

“They are these annoying bastards that I keep on talking about yesterday, especially that guy. They keep making assumptions and I bet they followed me here.” Irene said pointing at Bogum

“So your name is Irene” Bogum said and looked at her, Irene just shrugged it off

“Irene~ah this guys are famous! They are the people we keep on talking about at the hospital few days ago.” Rose said and Irene was like are-you-kidding-me-this-guys and Rose just nodded

“The clothes that your wearing is that came from them?” Sungkyung asked grabbing Irene

“It came from me, she slept at my house and we came here together.”  Bogum said

“WHAT?!” Sungkyung, Rose, and Seulgi said

Irene waved her hand towards them

“It’s not what you think. Stop imagining things... But can you guys explain to them that I’m not a robber” Irene said

“Robber?” Seulgi then said looking at Irene then to the boys

“These guys keep on making assumptions that I’m robbing this restaurant.” Irene said looking at the boys with death glares her friends just laughed

“What’s so funny?” Joohyuk asked

“You see I can’t believe you treat Irene that way. This is the first time. And you guys must be mistaken, Irene here is the daughter of the owners of this restaurant.”Sungkyung said after her laughed died down

The guys looked at each other

“Then why didn’t you told us?” Taehyung asked

“Wow! I KEEP ON TRYING TO EXPLAIN IT TO YOU GUYS SINCE EARLIER BUT YOU WOULDN’T LISTEN AND KEEP ON INTERRUPTING! how do you expect me to tell you! and if ever you wouldn’t believe me anyway.” Irene said

“Then do you guys know us?” Jingoo asked Irene’s friends

“Of course we know you” Seulgi said like it was the obvious thing

“Then how come this girl doesn’t know anything about us” Jingoo asked

“Then I guess your not that famous because I don’t know you” Irene said sarcastically 

“How can you know us when you don’t listen to the news or read any newspaper” Bogum said sarcastically 

 

“What took you girls so long,lunch is ready” they all turned around to see Irene’s father and mother

“Did you invite guess? You should have told as earlier so that we could prepare more food.” Her mother said

“Eomma they are not my guess or what so ever” Irene said

“Then you guys must be courting these ladies?” Her father said

They all widen their eyes and shaking their heads as a no

“Appa that’s impossible this guys are trouble makers! Ones you stick to them you can have unfortunate events that would keep on happening.” Irene said

“Is that true?” Her mother said jokingly

“Eomoni, It isn’t true. We want to have lunch here, because we heard it’s famous but this girl right here started accusing us..” Bogum said looking at Irene

“Wha.. What are you talking about? Your the one who acts like a stalker... Wherever I go your there and I barely know you!”

“The one to talk!” Bogum said 

“Aren’t you guys tired of fighting and shouting at each other. Your just like 5 steps away but your voices are so loud.” Rose said and the rest agreed

“True and Eomoni just asked a question, but you guys makes the answer much more complicated.” Seulgi said looking at Bogum and Irene

“We are sorry that our store is closed, How about you guys join us for lunch?” Her father said and Bogum, Jingoo, Taehyung, and Joohyuk was happy since they didn’t eat anything Since earlier in the morning Rose, Seulgi, and Sungkyung was shocked and looked at Irene then to each other

Irene looked at the boys and gave them a warning with her eyes that says don’t-even-think-about-it-or-else!! Forming a fist, They all get her warning

“Abeoji that’s a good offer but I think we better go, we will just eat in Seoul or at the rest stop on our way.” Taehyung said hurriedly and motion them to go but Bogum stopped them

“We shouldn’t turn down his offer and beside Seoul is few hours away. Why can’t we just eat here” Bogum said while looking at Irene

“You!” Irene said

“Bogum didn’t you catch her warning. I want to be a full piece when I get back in Seoul!”Jingoo said whispering to his ear

“That young man is right! Let’s eat don’t worry it’s free. Besides Seoul is far away and don’t bother paying or stopping at the rest stop.. Home cooked meals are always good... Let’s go” Her mom said with an angelic smile

“But Eomma! We barely know them. We can’t just let them in” Irene said who is opposed to the idea

“Bae Joohyun!” Her father said and Irene just look at the ground. Irene knew if his father call her full name that means she need to stop talking and it’s a final decision. They went out first leaving all of them behind

“Hi miss” Taehyung said to Rose with a friendly smile and Rose smiled back

Irene who saw the interaction stepped between them and face Taehyung 

“Don’t even dare make a move on her! She’s out of your girls list. I’m not only saying this as a warning to you but to you guys as well, don’t dare to make a move on my friends and you girls don’t fall for their charms they can be dangerous like snakes.” Irene said looking at them and her friends

“What makes you think that? We are not that dangerous as to what you think, but what if you fall for me?” Bogum said and went up to Irene nearly closing the gap between them

“Don’t make me laugh that won’t happen in this life or the next!” Irene said pushing him and stomping outside following her parents

“DON’T SAY THING THAT YOU ARE NOT SURE YET OR ELSE YOU WOULD REGRET YOU WORDS THAT YOU JUST BLURT OUT!” Bogum shouted at her in order for her to hear

“Is she always like that?” Joohyuk ask Sungkyung

“No, she’s not like that. She has a lot of things on her mind lately but I assure you that she’s fun to be with if you knew her. You can tell she’s almost a perfect girl but she’s just stubborn sometimes.” Sungkyung said

“I agree please understand her.” Seulgi said following Irene

“We better go” Rose said and they all followed

They were all sitting ready to eat.

Bogum taste the food and look at Irene’s parents with a thumbs up

“Eomoni, Abeoji this one is good! Your really good”

“Good thing you liked it.. What do you guys do?” Eomoni said

“Well, we are doctors from Seoul National Hospital” Taehyung said with a smile

“Isn’t that hospital famous especially doing surgeries in the heart?” her father asked and they all nodded 

“What brought you to Busan?” Eomoni said looking at them

“We’re here because we need to attend a meeting” Bogum said honestly

“I see..  Do you guys have girlfriends?” Irene’s father asked

“No” the boys answered simply

“Why, you guys are handsome, why don’t you have any girlfriends... Listen you only live once in this lifetime. Make yours worth it.” 

“I’m not planning to have a girlfriend nor marry anyone.” Bogum said smiling and then looked at his food 

Joohyuk, Jingoo, and Taehyung looked at him with a sigh and Rose, Seulgi, Sungkyung looked at him with a sad face. Irene just stare at him

“What’s wrong with people at your age these days. In this lifetime you need to find someone to be with you, forever.. looked at me and my wife.” Abeoji said looking at his wife then to Irene with a sigh

“Appa, this is 21st century, people’s mind are way different when you guys were born... And besides nothing last forever this days, sooner or later that love that you share together would suddenly fade away like a thin air.” Irene said truthfully and looked at her parents. Bogum looked at her all of them did.

They were all finished eating

The boys had leave and the girls went outside and looked at the sky, enjoying the fresh breeze

“Irene” Rose called her 

“Hmmm” Irene answered

“What makes you believe that nothing last forever?”

“I just feel that when it comes to love nothing last forever. People left, People got hurt, People cry, and People became selfish and become the person that they don’t want to be because of love... Destiny? Love? What a joke. That thing doesn’t exist.”  Irene explained

“Maybe for some people that is but for some, true love, destiny does exist you only have to believe in it.” Sungkyung said

“That is also the reason why people got hurt because to what they believe in.” Irene said looking at them

“Changing the subject how did you meet them?” Seulgi said curiously

“It just happened unexpectedly on top of that I don’t even know them.” Irene said with honesty

“I wonder if I could see them again especially Dr. Kim!” Rose said Irene just looked at her and said

“Rose, Don’t for I know girls are over him. He doesn’t take girls very seriously along with that other guys is it Jingoo?”

“I thought you don’t know them?” Seulgi said

“I know but for some reason I think I know them very well. Like I have known them for a very long time being this is my 2nd encounter with them” Irene said shaking her head

“Give me a break your just being delusional..” Sungkyung said

“But it’s true.” Irene said convincing them

They all just sighed!

“I think that you just think that way because you had seen them somewhere and had an encounter with them.” Rose told Irene

“I don’t know” Irene said and shrugged it off

“But Irene you need some explanation! What happened? How did you meet them.” Seulgi said and all attention was on Irene

Irene then started explaining

After she finished explaining their reaction was not Irene was expected it to be

“Bogum is a sweet guy! You should be grateful towards him” Sungkyung said

“I agree... Out of all women in this world especially in Korea he bump in to you!” Seulgi said with a thrilling voice

“I guess that’s not coincidence but destiny.” Rose said clasping her hands together

“Grateful?  Destiny? You guys must be crazy!” Irene said dumbfounded

“Aye don’t speak too soon!” Sungkyung said

“Enough talking about them” Irene said

“I’m not planning to see them anyway and besides rich people like them would never encounter people like me or us again.. by the way when are we going back to Seoul?”

“Tomorrow morning” Rose said

Bogum was standing in front of their house after Joohyuk drop him off.

The gate opened and an old lady greeted him with a friendly smile

“Master Bogum! Your home”

“Nice to see you again mrs. Byeok, and how many times do I have to tell you that you can call me Bogum. It’s not like you don’t know me at all” Bogum sakd and gave her a hug

“Tsk you never change” mrs. Byeok said and Bogum returned with a smile

“Come inside Jieun is waiting for you and so as your parents” 

Bogum entered their house and saw Jieun reading a book

“Jieun~ah!” Bogum called Jieun looked and saw his hyung

“HYUNG!” he said shouting and running towards him

Bogum kneel down to meet his height 

“Did you miss me?”

Jieun nodded 

“Hyung did you missed me? I heard your in Korea for a few days now and you never visited till now.” Jieun said with a sad face

“I’m sorry, I have some errands to do. How about to make up it to you I will be the one who will drive you to your school tomorrow.” Bogum said putting his hand on Jieun’s head. Jieun smiled and nodded, 

“PROMISE!” 

“Promise.” Bogum said

“Your here” Bogum looked to see his parents, he stand up and bowed

His parents went up to him and gave him a hugged

“Let’s go and eat” his father said and Bogum just nodded he then looked at Jieun and motion him to hold his hand which Jieun gladly did.

“They were all sitting in the table eating with silence when his father started speaking

“How’s America?”

“Good.” Bogum answered

“Bogum congratulations, I heard you make the President sign the contract” his mother said with a smile

“Thank you Eomoni”

“When are you planning to go back to work? And Bogum I’m getting old you need to take care of the company now. Your grandfather asked you to see him tomorrow.” His mother said

Bogum just nodded

“Hyung can you sleep with me tonight!” Jieun said

“Of course,” Bogum agreed

“YEHEY! Eomma! Appa! I will go to my room now and fix it!” Jieun said 

Going up to his room hurriedly 

“Bogum, I wan’t you to stop going to Yoojung. It’s been what 2 years. Forget her.” His father said 

“I agree with your father. Bogum please... your hurting yourself for the past 2 years. You don’t go out much like you usually do, you barely talk to anyone besides your friends, Your shutting everyone out.” His mother said 

Bogum put his knife and fork down to the plate and looked at the both of them

“Eomoni, Abeoji I will handle my own business, please don’t meddle. I will decide on my own.” Bogum said standing up and went to Jieun’s room. His parents looked at him

“Looked at that kid!” His father said shaking his head

“Understand him... sooner he will get married anyway” his mother said and his father just sighed.

Next Day 

Bogum and his brother went to Jieun’s school.

Bogum was wearing a hat, a sunglass,and a mask to prevent people from recognizing him. He was holding Jieun’s hand and make their way to the classroom.

“Hyung thank you!” Jieun said giving him a hug and Bogum just pat his back

“I better go now, you study hard.” Bogum said and watched Jieun going to his classroom waving goodbye.

He turned around and started walking he was almost to his car when he bump into a lady.

When Bogum looked at the lady he widen his eyes to see Irene

“You!” Bogum said pointing at her and Irene looked around and mouthed ‘me’

“Are you following me? Until here?How?” Bogum said and Irene was dumbfounded at first but then realize to whom the voice belongs too.

“Mr. ANNOYING?! what the hell are you doing here? Your not stalking me are you” Irene said shocked

“Never and Shouldn’t I be the one who’s asking that?” Bogum said 

“Before you make assumptions again I’m a teacher here, just to be clear. You?” Irene said waiting for his response but before he could talk reporters showed up out of nowhere going up to them. Irene widen her eyes as she was being pushed around and fell to the ground. Bogum saw her to the ground and tried to reached out for her luckily he did and helped her to stand up

“You okay?” Bogum said

“If your being pushed and fell to the ground would you be okay” Irene said annoyingly

“Can’t you just be thankful that I asked if your okay” Bogum said holding her and tried to push their way to his car.

After like an eternity they reach his car. He opened the passenger seat and put Irene inside 

“What are you doing?” Irene said trying to get out of the car

“Stay. You don’t want this reporters to pushed you around again do you”

Bogum said and then closed the car door. He turn around to see reporters  putting their mic near him and started asking questions

“Sir, are you dating again?”

“Who’s this girl?”

“Where did you meet?”

“Did you finally move on?”

“Are you taking your family’s company, now that your back”

“Is it true that you would have a partnership with Myeongdon Hospital?”

Bogum was annoyed 

“For the company I haven’t decided it yet, and I’m not planning to go back to work anytime soon. It’s true that Myeongdon Hospital would be having  partnership with Park Corporation but mostly with Seoul National Hospital. As for my personal space I want it to be private, I hope next time you guys won’t cross the line and make stupid articles that are not true just because of your assumptions and to what you see. But I’d like to say this girl is one of my good friend.” With that he went to the driver seat

Irene looked at him

“Your driving?” Irene said nervously 

“Hmm” Bogum said

“Are you crazy, do you want us to die early! You have phobia in driving!”

“Don’t worry I take medication”

“Med.. Medication!? That wont help it’s only a medicine!”

Irene said in disbelief 

“It’s not just a medicine, I drove here safely, so don’t worry. Trust me on this one and” Bogum starting the engine and Irene put her seatbelt and hold it tightly as if her life was depended on it. Bogum then drove as far away from the reporters

 

“Why does every time that I’m with you, I either get myself in an unexpected situation or I had bad luck.” Irene said looking at Bogum

“Can you stop nagging! Ever since we met you keep on nagging, shouting, etc. Your mouth really doesn’t get tired, does it ” Bogum said

“I do admit I nag a lot, but do you know that I have classes to attend to!” Irene said looking at the time

“Call the school tell them that you can’t work today.” Bogum said 

“Why?” 

“Reporters would stay there until you get back. Encountering them for so many times they will not leave until they get some information about you. So in order to protect you privacy you can’t go back to school today or to your house they’ll follow you everywhere” Bogum said and Irene’s phone started buzzing

“Hello....I know... I can’t work today.. Take care of the kids...hmm... Don’t worry I’m fine....Thank you I’ll call you guys again later.” Irene said ending the call

“That’s the reason why I never like reporters and so as the News..So what now” Irene asked curiously to what Bogum’s plan is

“The safest place right now is my house”

“Wouldn’t be reporters there?”

“Hmm.. they all would be at the front door but we would take the backdoor”

They arrived at back door and as expected of Bogum there was no reporters. They enter the house and sat on the couch

“Unmm can I barrow your first aid kit?” Irene said and Bogum handed it to her

Irene looked at her palm badly bruised

“Let me do it.” Bogum said snatching the ointment

He sat down next to her and grab her palm gently. He then started to put some ointment and blow it. Irene stared at him “he can be useful”. She thought

“Am I that handsome?” Bogum said looking at Irene and Irene just looked away with a disgust face

“You? Handsome?” 

“It’s done!” Bogum just smirked and Irene just thanked him

They both sat and did not say anything until Irene stand up looking at the window

“The reporters are gone. Can I go?” Irene said turning her head to Bogum. Bogum went up to her and looked outside seeing no one was there

“You can, but use the back door they could be just hiding.” Bogum said and Irene just nodded, grabbed her things and went to the back door.

Irene carefully looked to her side seeing no one but an empty road, she then started walking,  head down low. 

After walking so long she started to feel her stomach started growling she put her hands on her stomach and scan the place fo a small convenience store and luckily she found one. She bought noddles and sat near the glass window.

Without Irene knowing Bogum was following her close behind and saw her eating noddles happily.

“Noddles? This early? She is one of a kind, is that even food or a proper meal, tsk”  Bogum turned around ready to go home since he sense reporters hiding around but then he heard his phone started ringing 

“Hello? Halaboji.. Yes, I’m coming.. See you”  Bogum ended the call and went straight home but looking one last time to Irene but when he turned around she was gone. Bogum hurriedly went to the convenient store but see no sign of her

“Where did she go?” Bogum mumbled, he was about to look for her but stop on his track “why do I need to look for her? She’s just a no one? Amd she’s a grown up I’m sure she can handle” He thought and went back to his house.

Bogum arrived at his grandfather’s office and saw him sitting on his chair

“Halaboji” Bogum said and bowed at him. His grandfather just nodded and motion him to sit down

“You called?” Bogum said looking at his grandfather

“I’m getting old so I’ll go straight to the point... Your father would be taking my position for about next 3 months or so and their would be no one taking his place for the spot of a CEO. So I was planning that you take his position when I got him promoted.”

“What?” Bogum said widening his eyes

“You heard me, I will be placing you as a CEO of the Park Corporation” his grandfather said with a smile

“Uncle Joongki can take care of that. Halaboji, I’m not even considering going back to work yet and your placing me as a CEO of the Park Corporation?!” Bogum said 

“Your Uncle would also be promoted as a Vice Chairman, it’s me, your uncle, and your father that decided to make you a CEO to prepare for your future as the heir of my company. But.” Bogum widen his eyes opposing to the idea and felt helpless every time he heard a But in his grandfather’s words

“But?” Bogum said gulping

“But you would be getting married,We already prepare you for an Arrange Marriage.” Bogum stand up from his seat not believing to what he just heard

“Ma..Ma..MARRIED!? WHO? ME?” Bogum said nearly shouting and pointing at himself

“Yes you..It’s final.” His grandfather said putting his pen down

“But, Halaboji! You can’t do this to me, you didn’t even ask if I’m okay with this idea.” Bogum said with frustration

“Don’t worry the person you would be getting married is also the next heir of the Lee Group, Lee Hyeri” his father said

“Hye... Hyeri,” Bogum said

“Why... You guys became an item”

“That was a long time ago, halaboji”

“Your not even seeing anyone so what’s the point.”

“That is the point, I’m not seeing anyone and I’m not planning anytime soon!” 

“Then let’s make a deal, if you found someone that you loved within 3 months then I might reconsider but if not you would get married to Hyerin. And also we would be having a dinner with her family tomorrow night be sure to be there. You can go” his father said motioning him to get out

“Halaboji!” Bogum said more furious than ever

“Go” Bogum just sighed and went out of his office....
