 Myeongdon Hospital

 

Bogum, Joohyuk, Jingoo, and Taehyung arrived in Myeongdo Hospital for an important meeting with it’s president as a representative of The Park corporation.

 

They all were sitting in a long table on the right is the President and his secretary on the left was Bogum, Joohyuk, Jingoo, and Taehyung.

“President Choi, I heard your not easily impressed in these kind of stuff, so let me get to the point. Having a quick partnership with Park corporation will not only increase the reputation of your hospital but also in equipment it needed” Bogum said looking directlyin his eyes

“How can I be sure that I can trust the partnership that your offering Mr. Park?” President Choi said looking determined, Bogum just smirked

“President Choi you own a lot of hospitals and clinics here in Busan if you do a partnership with us it’s a win-win situation, you will get 10% of Park Corporation shares and we also got to expand here in Busan with your company’s help and the man behind it all. You know that Park Corporation have variety of Business, including the world renowned hospital, Seoul National Hospital, So will you take the offer?” Bogum said with much determination. President Choi’s secretary then whisper something to President Choi that makes his eyes bewildered and looked at Bogum.  His friends just smirked knowing President Choi would agree to the agreement that Bogum offered.

“Mr. Park you played well..It’s a deal then. My secretary would inform you when is the contract signing.” President choi then stand up to his seat and went towards the door with his secretary. Bogum, Joohyuk, Taehyung, and Jingoo bowed until he was gone of sight.

“Good work Bogum.” Joohyuk said looking at Bogum and putting his hand on his shoulder

“How do you do that?” Jingoo asked at him

“When you do this kind of partnership with people like President Choi you need to have a hidden card, always ready.” Bogum said smirking

“What do you mean?” Taehyung asked looking curious 

“Let’s just say people have weaknesses that they can’t hide forever” Bogum then went outside, Joohyuk, Jingoo, and Taehyung looked at him suspiciously and put their hands on their pockets

“Something tells me, that he did something that is out of this world” Taehyung said still looking at the door

“My guts tells me Bogum found out something about President Choi that makes him to agree at his proposal so easily.” Jingoo said

“I just wished Bogum know’s what his doing.” Joohyuk said and the 3 of them then went to the parking lot.

2 hours before the meeting with President Park.

 

Bogum was sitting across a guy holding a camera and pictures

“Sir these are the pictures that you asked me.” The guy said passing Bogum some pictures that he took. Bogum grabbed them and looked at them smiling

“So the eldest son of President Choi is doing this kind of stuff. What else did you find?” Bogum said looking at the guy across from him

“Aside from being a womanizer,going to clubs and flirt with other people, and cheating on his wife, he also have an illegal company that is unknown to his father and family. He uses bribes to make his company grew bigger and he gets money from the Myeongdon Hospital without the President knowing and he do this with the help of Director Yeol”

Bogum just shooked his head “This guy is worst than expected... Director Yeol? Isn’t he the right hand of President Choi?”

“Yes”

Bogum just sighed and put down the pictures to the table and looked at the guy across him

“Make sure to give this stuff to President Choi in 2 hours when we were in a meeting, their would be no doubt that he will agree with this partnership.  Besides he should be thankful we will be able to save his hospital and other business from his oldest son.”  Bogum said

“But sir, if you do these to President Choi would it also harm the Park Corporation because of the partnership?” The guy said

“That’s true, but if ever that happens it would only cause the company a bit of a loss if I’m here since they only owns 10% of the Park’s property... Besides I only do these for my grandfather since he ordered me to do so. And I can’t go against the Chairman.”

“YAH!” Bogum looked behind to see a wounded man in a suit. 

“YOU BASTARD!” in a blink of an eye Bogum found himself to the ground with his lips wounded. He went back to his feet and grabbed the man to his collar and punched him.

“WHO THE HECK ARE YOU PUNCHING PEOPLE IN THE FACE!” Bogum shouted towards the man laying to the floor 

“Did you got an amnesia or something you already forget  who I’am?” The man said wiping the blood on his lips and looking at Bogum

“Ah you must be President Choi’s reckless son?” Bogum said finally recognizing his face

“What?” Mr. Choi said glaring at Bogum and standing up to his own feet “What did you say, Jerk”

“If your going to play dirty tricks make sure no one knows you and don’t leave any evidence laying around... This what happens to people like you who act carelessly” Bogum said turning his head away from him and started walking away

“Do you really think you can get away with this just because your the heir to the Parks’s Corporation. Don’t be so full of yourself and think you can do anything.” Bogum stopped on his tracks

“Sure, Don’t you think I know that you used me as a bait to have a deal with my father!”

“You should reconcile to what you have done, it’s not my fault. It’s your greed and selfishness brought you to where you are right now.... Think what ever you want I don’t care.” Bogum then walked away.

 

“YOUR A PIECE OF GARBAGE! I’ll get you back!” Mr. Park said standing while looking at Bogum’s back

Bogum just smirked and put his hands up before going out of sight.

Irene was the first person to waked up and tiptoed herself out of the way of the room. 

“Your awake?” Irene turned around to see her father getting his boots on

“Where are you going?” Irene asked

“I will do some walking near the beach, you want to come?” Her father said and Irene just nodded grabbing her shoes

They were strolling on the beach for about 30 minutes when Irene motioned her father to sit down and watched people having a swim on the beach, etc.

“Joohyun” Her father called her 

“Hmmm” Irene answered

“Are you still scared of the ocean?”

“From time to time, I do.. Appa are you really sure nithing happened to me when I was a kid or what?” Irene said looking at his father

“Well..... Not that I can’t think off... I’m sorry” Her father said looking at Irene

“Why are you sorry? It’s not your fault appa or anyone”

“I’m just sorry for everything, for being your father.”

“Aye, don’t say that... Appa I’m really thankful that your my father. Besides God gave me a cool, smart, handsome, caring, loving dad what more could I ask for” Irene said putting her hands on his shoulder

“Your a good kid Joohyun, That is why I’m more sorry towards you”

“Tsk.. It’s because you and Eomma took good care of me, Appa. Don’t say sorry it’s not like you did some crime to me or something.” Irene said with reassuring smile and her father smiled back.

“It’s getting late we better go back for lunch before your mom scolds at us again.” Her father chuckled

“I still remember Eomma keeps on nagging when were both home late...” Irene smiled at the thought

“That is why we need to go home before she keeps on nagging at us again non-stop” they both stand up Irene linking her arms to his father and started walking.

Bogum entered the car where everyone was.

“What happened to your face?” Taehyung asked looking at him

“It’s nothing.” Bogum said shrugging it off 

Ring~ Ring~

Bogum’s phone started to ringed, He look at the caller and saw hid father’s name

“Hello” Bogum answered

“Where are you?” His father asked

“I’m in Busan”

“Did you make President Choi sign the contract?”

“Hmm.”

“Come back home here. Dinner time, your mother and I had something to discussed with you.”

“Can it be tomorrow. I’m tired.”

“Don’t be so lousy and go here.. it’s been two years since we last saw you and Jieun missed you so much.”

Bogum just sighed

“I got it. I’ll be there.” Bogum then hanged up

“Who’s that?” Joohyuk asked looking at him

“Abeoji, he wants me to come over dinner tonight.” 

“Go” Jingoo said

“If I go I’m sure something unexpected would happened.”

“But you promise to go, just think that your going there because of Jieun not your parents.” Joohyuk said

“How about we eat lunch first. I heard there’s a famous restaurant here in Busan.” Taehyung said

“That’s right let’s talk about business later when we finished eating.” Jingoo said. They just all nodded and went to the restaurant.

“JOOHYUN!” her mom called from the kitchen

“De Eomma?” Irene said peeking at her in the kitchen 

“I think I left my phone at the restaurant, can you get it for me dear, the key is there” her mom said pointing at the table to where the keys are

“Hmmm... I will be right back!” Irene said.

Irene was inside of the restaurant searching for her mother’s phone

“Where is it?” Irene thought

“It should be here” she said bending down while looking at the counters desk when she suddenly heard the bell to the door make a sound 

“Hello? Is this restaurant open?” the person that came in said

“What? Did he not read the sign at the door?” Irene thought. 

“I think no one is here? We should go” another person said

“Don’t be ridiculous the door is open it’s impossible that no one is here.” Another one said. 

Irene debated to show at first but she straighten up with a smile on her face and greeted the costumer

“We’re sorry-“ but when Irene finally saw who the customers are she widen her eyes and mouth

“Aigoo.” Irene said and just sighed.
