Chapter 13

Silence (A JinJi Fanfiction)

P. Jinyoung (08:03PM):
I'm on my way to Jackson's birthday dinner. What are you doing now? Tell me when your schedule is over and then I'll call you.

Jinyoung checked his chatroom with Jisoo. It had been two hours since he sent the message but Jisoo had yet to read it. He silently sighed as he put his phone back on the table, decided to wait a little bit longer before his curiosity reached his limit.

"Wow, Jack! This is crazy delicious," Bambam said in English, speaking with his mouth full. They just finished a fan-signing event in Bundang-gu but special for that night, GOT7 didn't immediately come back to Seoul just yet. They stayed there to celebrate Jackson's birthday in a fancy Chinese restaurant owned by his acquaintance.

"This really is. One of the best Chinese restaurant I could find in South Korea. The chefs were small restaurant owners from Sichuan that my friend brought all the way to South Korea, so the menus are all made from original and traditional Sichuan recipes. I told my friend that he made the right decision to hire them instead of those Le Cordon Bleu graduates," Jackson explained proudly, showing his squirtle-smile.

"You know man, this place doesn't look like it sells Chinese food. I thought we'd be chilling here, drinking wine, eating gourmet. But here we are stuffing ourselves with lobsters and kung paos. Not complaining, though," Bambam said. He no longer cared about table manner and used his hands to eat the mouth-watering Sichuan spicy lobster.

"Oho~ Bro, rest assured, my friend has reserved a vintage 1994 Chardonnay for us. We'll chill after this," Jackson spoke, also with his mouth full.

" yeah! I want to let myself loose once in a while," Mark added, giving his widest smile to Jackson, who winked back at the oldest hyung.

Jinyoung eyed the AmeriThaiKong. "Don't talk when we're eating. Jackson, don't speak when your mouth is full. Mark-hyung, watch your mouth," he scolded them. The foreigner line could only smile.

"Jinyoung, cut me some slack. I just came back from the jungle, don't you have any pity on me?"

Jinyoung smirked. It was true, Mark just came back from filming Law of the Jungle, the reason why they could only celebrate Jackson's birthday two weeks after. When he was back at the dorm, he couldn't stop talking about whatever happened in the island.

But it wasn't a successful episode. Apparently.

"It was crazy, the wind was so strong, the temperature was cold. When I dived to find fish, I almost got hypothermia." Jinyoung remembered everything that Mark said. Their latest adventure ended earlier than planned, because the weather in New Zealand turned bad. It was so difficult to find food and everyone was starving. The chief Kim Byung-Man almost fell sick because of hypothermia.

"It was as if we were really stranded in that island," Mark concluded, when he shared his story to the members.

And now he ate like he didn't eat for days, literally. The dinner was a celebration for so many things; Jackson's recovery, Mark's return, Jackson's birthday, Never Ever's promotion. But most importantly, it was a celebration for their togetherness.

"I am wondering who is going to the jungle next," Youngjae questioned. "If I'm chosen, are you willing to replace me, Jinyoung-hyung?"

Hearing that, Jackson laughed, almost choking on his food. "I can already imagine his stubble everywhere. He grows beard every 2 hours."

Jinyoung glared at Jackson. "Speak for yourself. It's not like we can't shave there?" Jinyoung said, referring to a viral photo of Jackson coming back from LOTJ filming with stubble and mustache—still handsome.

"You can't. For real, ask Mark-hyung. There is no mirror, I don't bring mirror because it's too much trouble. And you can't even do your business in peace. The whole thing was kind of frustrating but it was a great experience, nevertheless."

"Men are alright, but for women, I think they have it harder," Mark continued.

"True, I remember Hani-hyung—"

"Hani-hyung?" Everyone asked simultaneously.

"Yeah, hyung. Ever since we went to that jungle, it's hard for me to see her as a feminine woman. She was stronger and braver than men, she was really awesome. But I remembered she told me that there were some uncomfortable circumstances that she had to face in the jungle. She said, she didn't want to go back faster but she really needed a decent shower."

"I bet 100,000 KRW that Jaebum-hyung will go next," Bambam said.

"Yah, why me? Do you want to get rid of me?"

"Then I bet for Jinyoungie," Mark continued, chuckling. "Or should I say, I'll recommend him to Byungman-hyung."

"Jinyoung-hyung in the jungle will be hilarious," Yugyeom added. "He'll be annoyed with everything. I doubt he'll survive."

"Yugyeom, you wanna die?"

"What about Bambam? Bambam is used to live luxuriously," Youngjae pointed at Bambam who was still peacefully eating his lobster.

"Aniya, aniya, he's too carefree. He will be fine, you know, singing a song while looking for food to eat or playing in the river. Jinyoung, though, I don't think so," Jackson said, shaking his head.

"You guys know that I can refuse the offer, right?"

Jackson and Mark shook their heads at the same time. "You mean refusing a show that has won countless of awards?"

"And miss the chance to promote GOT7 through one of the most famous reality show?"

"Are you out of your mind?"

Jinyoung looked at them with his trademark sulky face, unable to argue. "Fine, I'll go. But others go first."

They didn't stop chatting while eating, even Jinyoung who at first scolded everyone for eating and talking at the same time. The table was filled with never-ending laughter until they finished eating and the waiters cleared their table. As promised, the manager of the restaurant came to prepare an expensive white wine.

For now, the atmosphere turned a bit calmer. Since it was already 10 PM, the traditional Chinese music was changed into Chinese Jazz.

"It's been a long time since we can gather like this. Not because of work. Just us, spending time together," Jackson started, sipping his white wine.

"This is so nice," Yugyeom sighed contently. "Gomawo, Jackson-hyung, this is what we all really need in the midst of crazy schedule."

"Then I'll take the time to ask you this. 15& Yerin or Blackpink Rose, 1, 2, 3!"

"What? Wait, wait, Blackpink Rose?" Yugyeom raised his voice out of reflect, immediately getting shushed by the boys. "Since when did you get the idea?"

"I just know," Jackson replied, smirking. "Come on, you've got to give me the answer."

"I'm not close with both of them!"

"I'm asking which one do you like more!"

"This is so random," Yugyeom said, shaking his head. Just then, Bambam bursted out laughing, failed to hold it in, and Yugyeom quickly noticed it.

"Yah, Bam. Jinjja. So, you started it?"

"What? No! I'm just laughing," Bambam said in between his laughter.

"Aish, Yugyeom. Is the question that hard?"

Yugyeom stared at Jackson. His hyung got a sheepish smile on his face and he looked like he already knew the answer. For real, this hyung just wanted to .

Bambam must have spilled the beans, he thought. When Yugyeom looked around, everyone was also anticipating an answer from him, ready with all the teasings that could come out from their mouth in any minute.

"Fine, Blackpink Rose," Yugyeom said shyly while he covered his face. Still, he couldn't conceal his smile.

"I knew it!! So you've moved on from Yerin, huh?"

They were still making fun of Yugyeom even after 10 minutes. Jinyoung chuckled, showing of his trademark wrinkles under his eyes, while he drank his wine slowly, enjoying the whole scene. But then he noticed something.

Jaebum's silence. No laughter, not even a smile.

In fact, his JJP-half had been a little bit distracted the whole evening, only giving short responses and laughing when necessary. Jaebum tried to make it less obvious but Jinyoung could not not to notice the weird attitude.

But it wasn't like he didn't know. He knew why Jaebum was particularly down, or rather, why Jaebum wasn't being himself for the past few months.

Never Ever was the reason. The whole comeback was the reason.

He planned to ask him in the dorm after they went back but Jackson, the most sensitive guy on the planet, beat him to it.

"Jaebum-hyung, you're no fun. Why are you so quiet? Aren't you happy that Yugyeom has finally moved on—"

"Aish, jinjjahyung, stop with the teasing," Yugyeom cut in.

Jaebum woke up from his deep thought. "Huh? Whae, whae, whae?"

"You are too quiet the whole evening."

"I'm not. I talked!"

"And you're sulking!"

"It's just my face?"

"You can't escape him, Jaebum-hyung," Jinyoung told Jaebum, himself being curious about what was happening inside his hyung's head.

"I'm fine."

"I don't believe you."

"Why? Is there a specific reason why you insist that something is going on?"

"Because we've known each other for a long time. I know when you're not being yourself."

"I said I'm—"

"I know about this," Youngjae butted in so suddenly. Instantly, the rest of GOT7 members turned their heads.

"What? I don't even know what you know," Jaebum denied and frowned deeper. Youngjae, who was sitting right across Jaebum, averted his glance but he gathered courage to talk.

"I sat next to him during the fansign. An ahgase asked him, oppa, do you like Never Ever? but hyung answered reluctantly so that ahgase continued, because I feel that you don't like the song but nevertheless, you're always so cool on stage! That was it."

The other members slowly turned their heads back to Jaebum to ask for confirmation but when he denied it again, Youngjae argued.

"After that, hyung, you kept quiet for a long time. Like...you.." He couldn't finish because Jaebum clicked his tongue and glared at him.

"This is ridiculous. Didn't you see how hyper I was today?"

"After you get over it. But that ahgase really took you by surprise, you didn't react the same way to the rest of ahgases," Youngjae said. Although he knew Jaebum would be unhappy, still, he brought up the topic. Everyone needed to know—everything involving ahgases should be their concern.

"Youngjae, you don't know what's in my head. It's not right to assume things and act as if that's the fact," Jaebum rebated, unconsciously raising his voice a little bit. Youngjae could only stare back at his hyung, but deep down he knew he was right. Jaebum's frustration made it even more obvious.

"Hajima, hyung, calm down. Let's just admit it," Yugyeom said in low voice, sadly.

"That it is true," Jinyoung pointed out, finishing Yugyeom's sentence. "Nobody in this table likes the song. It's no use of denying it."

That shut everybody up, until Jaebum let out a deep sigh. "This is not the right conversation to talk about. We are having a nice evening, we shouldn't talk about this. Sorry, I'm just tired, that's all."

"At least, we've finished the trilogy. We also received four wins," Bambam said, trying to bring up the somber atmosphere.

"Not enough," Jackson said. "We have to stop agreeing to songs that don't represent us at all. This is why every hard work feels regretful."

"I know, we all know. But what else could we do?" Jaebum argued, raising his voice a little bit. He was getting more and more frustrated.

"Our self-composed song should be the title track. All the songs in the album should be ours."

"And it should start from you." Jinyoung put his glass on the table and leaned closer to the table. His finger pointed at Jaebum. "You need to show your composed songs to JYP-nim. Let him listen. We love all your songs, your fans love your style." The others nodded.

"You mean, all the songs that got rejected by him? You guys know how hard it was to satisfy him."

"It was just because your style was different from PD-nim," Youngjae said.

"Hyung, our fans have always loved us unconditionally, even when we, ourselves, think that our album is far from being perfect. They all bought and supported an album that we don't even like. We should've felt bad. No, I'm ashamed. This is not right, and we should stop," Jinyoung declared. The guys nodded, except Jaebum.

"There is no guarantee," he said. Jaebum poured more wine into his glass. He eyed Jinyoung intensely, sending message that he knew Jinyoung understood: you, out of all people, know what we have gone through together since JJP era.

"I'm glad Youngjae brought this up," Jinyoung said, ignoring Jaebum's intense glare. "I've been wanting to say this to everyone, and I'm sure we all feel the same way."

"I was scared that the fans could see through us, and now my fear came true," Yugyeom uttered. "Bambam and I talked about this a lot."

GOT7 grew bigger and bigger each year, but it wasn't fast enough. They were about to be left behind, if they didn't do something about their freedom. They had discussed this with each other for quite a long time but anything that came from their mouth, particularly from Jaebum's, was quickly rejected by JYP.

"I'll talk to PD-nim. He's facing his own limit, too, he can't continue producing songs for his artists. The world continues to change, he needs to change. I'll try to convince him. This time we'll get to have our own voice," Jackson spoke, his voice firm.

"Let's work harder," Jinyoung said, raising his glass at the same time. The others followed, ready to make a toast.

"This could be the beginning of our new era."

Clank!

"Done with the sentimental topic. Work-related conversation is forbidden. Okay, we've teased Yugyeom enough. What about you, Park Jinyoung? Apink Bomi or Blackpink Jisoo, 1,2,3!"

~

Jisoo stretched her sore muscle.

It was late. Probably around 11PM, Jisoo thought, but instead of laying on her bed talking on the phone with Jinyoung, she was still in the yoga room. Despite her packed schedule for the day, she declined the girls' invitation to eat sushi and dragged herself to join a yoga class.

It had been a long time since she did it, usually she chose to join flying yoga class because it was just so much more fun compared to the regular yoga. But today, she needed it. To clear her mind, to remove the stress and ill-feeling.

"Good job for today, Jisoo. It's nice to finally meet you again," the yoga teacher approached Jisoo with a bottle of cold water in her hand. She was a professional yoga teacher in her 40s but with a bod of 20 year-old woman. That's what inner strength could give you: longetivity.

"Unnie, I'm sorry for not taking your class in a long time," Jisoo smiled apologetically. The yoga teacher shook her head, telling her that it was not a big deal. Rather, she quite missed the energetic idol.

"But tell me," the older woman started, "there is this positive energy radiating around you. Usually, you come here when you want to release the negative energy, but today, you're overflowing with positive energy, as if you need to release a portion of it from your body. I couldn't help but wonder."

"I don't quite know myself—unnie, why are you smiling like that?"

"Nothing, it's just that the positive energy is radiating again. Whatever the force is, it must be a strong one. Just don't absorb too much of it. You know that anything that is too much is not good."

With that, the yoga teacher excused herself to go home. Jisoo bowed to her and greeted her goodbye before she quickly checked her phone, finding a bunch of messages from Jinyoung.

P. Jinyoung (10:05PM):
Are you asleep?

P. Jinyoung (10:34PM):
The real Kim Jisoo will never sleep before 10PM. Actually, call me if you're still awake.

P. Jinyoung (11:00PM):
? So youre alseep. Goodnighht then.

Jisoo giggled. Jinyoung must be drunk, what's with the typo, she thought. Earlier he'd sent her a message about Jackson's birthday celebration, meaning he'd be drinking with s. Considering his typos, it was safe to say that Jinyoung wouldn't even remember what he wanted to say to her, so she decided not to call him back. But drunk Jinyoung is a honest Jinyoung. Is there something important he wants to talk about? she wondered.

She reread his chat again only to find that it affected her more than it should: her heart was beating so loud that she could physically hear it, and she was getting dizzy by the amount of happiness she felt. The inner peace that she had tried hard to achieve during yoga class was suddenly debunked by a simple, short moment.

And she understood the positive force that her yoga teacher was talking about.

I'm actually happy.

The love she felt for Jinyoung grew more and more each day that it stressed her. She refused to have expectation, however her heart couldn't help but dream of a future that she knew almost impossible to happen. When she came to Sangwon-unnie for advice, she was only told to let it flow, to make use of the positive energy into the works that she was currently doing.

But the growing feeling and the abundant happiness made her scared. Because she was not sure if a human's allowed to be this happy.

She sighed. Deciding to stop worrying, Jisoo took her bag and went out from the studio. Just in front of the room, her manager-oppa was waiting to send her home.

"Do you want to go buy something to eat before I drive you to the dorm?" the manager asked sternly.

"No need, oppa. Jennie said she had bought some food for me."

The drive to the dorm was rather loud. Her manager kept chatting non-stop about an earlier incident involving YG-sajangnim that annoyed him so much but Jisoo didn't pay attention to a single word. Her mind was busy deciding whether she had to reply to Jinyoung's message or just let him think that she was already asleep and skipped the day without talking on the phone. Will he be upset if I cut the streak? Jisoo unconsciously smiled.

It had been recurring for 2 weeks, their regular phone call. Ever since they made up, they never skipped a day without calling each other. They even agreed to give Jinyoung the exclusive right to be the first person to call every night just because he said it was a gentleman thing to do.

They would talk all night, about all kinds of things—books, movies, dramas, their members, anything that come up in their brain when they talk. At this point, they were so much more than just having a comfortable relationship. The relationship they had was something special, and she yearned for more, especially when Jinyoung kept acting so attentive and thoughtful. He was always available whenever she need someone to share, he could even sense it without her needing to ask. Not to mention that every time Jisoo fell asleep in the middle of their phone call, he would hum or sing a song to lull her—she knew.

Everything always felt like a dream.

"And then he scolded us again just because Rose came 5 minutes late to the recording studio, I'm sure it wasn't even 5 minutes. 5 minutes for God's sake, he usually comes a lot later during a meeting with us managers and we never complain. You know what, I think he's so frustrated today because he got a bad haircut. Do you see his hair? You can't right? Because he covered it all day with his hat."

"Oppa, he always wears a hat," Jisoo simply said, too tired to listen to her manager's complain.

By the time she finished eating and washing up, it was almost 12 AM. Jisoo was tired, her eyelids were so heavy and she was sure it wouldn't take even a minute for her to sleep. As soon as she entered her room, she flopped down to her bed and closed her eyes, didn't even care that her hair was still a little bit wet from the shower, and that Dalgom was asking for her attention. But just when she was about to sleep, her phone rang.

Incoming call from P. Jinyoung.

She hit the green button in a split second.

"Hey," he said. From his low voice, Jisoo knew he was drunk, or at least tipsy.

"Hi," she greeted him back with her sleepy voice. "I'm sorry, I was busy the whole day and I just got back. And since I didn't want to interrupt your party, I decided maybe I should just let you assume that I'm asleep. Why do you still call me, though?"

He chuckled. "I saw you read my messages. And I'm trying to test my luck, I guess. Somehow I feel the need to talk with you tonight."

Jisoo couldn't help but smile at his sudden honesty. "Alright, I'll give you 10 minutes for tonight. I'm super, super sleepy."

"That'd be enough," he simply said. "Although, you'll fall asleep even before the time's up."

The female idol giggled. "You know me all too well. So, where are you now?"

"We're still at this Chinese restaurant owned by one of Jackson's chaebol friends. I'm in their outdoor area now, away from my drunk members. It's beautiful here. Jackson said this place is often used to plan a romantic proposal. There is a pavilion with one table for two people in the middle of a garden," he explained in details, too detailed. His mind was already clouded by Chardonnay.

Nevertheless, Jisoo listened to every word he said. "Wait, Chinese food?" She thought Jinyoung would go drinking or partying. Nope, he went to a Chinese food resto.

"Yeah, and I have to tell you, they've got the best kungpaos I've ever tasted. Absolutely delicious. And after devouring a ridiculous amount of Chinese food, we drank bottles of white wine. Tonight's been crazy. Mark was gone, he drank the most today and Jackson turned into his loud, hyper-hoe self. I could hear their voices from here. And I'm—" he paused, "and I'm here blurting things out again, sorry. I'm more tipsy than I thought."

Jisoo chuckled. His honey voice that was perfect for story-telling almost made her fall asleep.

"No, it's fine, really," Jisoo assured him. "I like it better when you're drunk..," she said but saying the last part so soft that Jinyoung couldn't hear it. Fortunately.

"What? I couldn't really hear you."

"Nothing," she lied. "I'm just jealous. You always get all the fun."

"Yeah, it's always fun when I'm with the members. We ate good food, drank a nice vintage wine, and the best part of them all? Jackson pays for everything!"

"Omo, I need a Jackson in my group. But wait," she paused, suddenly realizing something. "I AM the Jackson in my group." Just then both of them bursted into laughter. It took a moment before they calmed down.

"So, how about you? How's your day?" Jinyoung asked softly.

Jisoo moved to a comfortable position on her bed, with her back pressed against a pile of pillows while her left hand twirled her half-dried hair.

"Today's been productive. After spending all afternoon to practice dancing, I went to a yoga class that I used to go in the past. It's been a while," she replied him.

"I smell a comeback coming."

"Well, I can't say anything for now. There are some songs that are candidates of the title track but so far, sajangnim is not satisfied with any of them. I'm not even sure if today's choreography is purposely for the comeback."

"Still, I'll be waiting," he cheered for her. "You'll break records."

"Thank you," she genuinely thanked him, and thank you for always supporting me. "So, is there something that you want to talk about? Something important?" she asked him. "Your 10 minutes is almost over~" she sang.

"I have nothing important to talk about. Why?"

"But you said you really need to call me tonight. So I assume you want to talk about something important."

"Oh." That was all he said. Jisoo was confused.

"So?"

"I don't know."

"You don't know?"

"Yes, I don't know. Maybe the alcohol has affected me again. Or maybe because I'm kinda stressed right now. Perhaps both. I don't know. I don't know why I need to call you," Jinyoung said, with the amount of sobriety he had left.

"You mean....this is a drunk dial?"

"What? No! Is it weird for me to call you?"

"It is. Because you insist on calling me."

Jinyoung paused, probably he was thinking.

"Maybe," he started. "Maybe it's just cause I want to hear your voice."

Jisoo was stunned, eyes opened wide—it was not the answer she was expecting. She couldn't believe her ears. Just like that time when he blurted stuffs during get-together.

What he said was ambiguous. She honestly didn't mind drunk Jinyoung, but when he started to be awfully, and randomly, honest, she had no clue what to feel. Should she believe his tipsy confession? Because those words would always ignite a spark of hope inside her that she always tried to extinguish. Calm down.

"Oh.." That was all she could say.

"Yeah.." He cleared his throat.

"That..that was so cheesy..."

"Umm..."

"You're embarrassing me..."

"...I'm sorry,"

There was a 3-second awkward silence before both of them chuckled out of embarrassment.

"Too bad, your 10 minutes is up. I need to sleep. We have Inkigayo tomorrow, Park Jinyoung."

", that's true. I hope I'll be able to wake up early tomorrow. Goodnight, Jisoo."

She laughed aloud. "I'll count on you. Goodnight. Be careful on your way back. Text me when you're back, even though I'd be sleeping."

"Yes, ma'am."

"See you tomorrow."

"Yeah, see you."

And the call ended. Jisoo carefully put her phone on the nightstand and then laid down slowly on her bed. From the side, Dalgom approached her after giving his mom some alone time.

She slept as soon as she closed her eyes. This time, with a smile on her face.

~

The phone call had ended but Jinyoung was still looking at his phone. Rereading his chats with Jisoo.

It's amazing what she could do to him. Jisoo effect. He was having a rather stressful night, after his conversation about the comeback, but when he heard her voice, he forgot about it.

At first he wanted her to rely on him. But now he realized that he'd been relying on her instead.

"Yo," someone behind Jinyoung called. He didn't need to turn his head to know who called him. Im Jaebum.

"Hyung, you sober up already?" he asked Jaebum, smirking. Jaebum smirked back without answering him.

"How long have you been listening to my phone call?"

"Not much. Just the cheesy part."

Jinyoung grunted. "Then you heard everything."

"Cheesy and awfully honest. It's so Park Jinyoung's style," Jaebum said. It made both of them laughed.

"What happened inside?"

"All K.O. Managers are thinking of a strategy to bring them to the van."

"Should've just dragged them," Jinyoung said, as he smiled sheepishly. Jaebum scoffed but smiled right after. For a while, they didn't talk, enjoying the view of the outdoor area.

"I'll talk to hyung after we finish all of our schedules. Care to join?"

Jinyoung nodded, fully understood the hyung Jaebum was talking about. "Of course."

"Our conversation kept replaying in my head. Your words, especially. I feel like a failure," Jaebum started. He took his phone and pressed the camera app.

"Me, too. I've known from the start that it wasn't the right thing to do but we still do it."

"I mean, the song is not bad. It's just not well-prepared," Jaebum added.

"Ahgases are amazing. Our ahgases," Jinyoung started. "They love us no matter what. They are always waiting. We owe them. So much. To think that we have our ups and downs."

"Some fans were already there even from JJP era," Jaebum reminisced. His words made Jinyoung smiled.

"I truly remember that one ahgase, my fansite. Sseulbaby? She never leave us. She never leave me. Right now, my goals are no longer awards, and wins, trophies, etc. Making them smile is the most important thing, don't you think so? Rather than awards, let's just create music that we like. Create something that is meaningful to us. Living without regret."

"You do realize it's us against the whole company, right?"

"I know. But we have 7 people and ahgases. We can do it."

Jaebum grinned but he remained silent. Instead he brought up his phone, facing the sky.

"Taking pictures?"

"A remembrance of when 7 stars aligned to make GOT7."

"Stars?" Jinyoung looked up, only to find a beautiful cluster of stars.

"There is no cloud tonight, can't you see? It's a beautiful night sky."

~

Cho Moon-Ju entered his office early in the morning. After getting a cup of latte, he sat on his swivel chair and his computer. The Inkigayo PD hummed a song that he constantly listened for the past few weeks, while his hands busy typing his email and passwords.

Oh, a new e-mail from JYP. Must be Jinyoung's final schedule, he thought. But after he opened the attached file, his brow furrowed.

"1,2,3,4..." he began counting. "Well, this is going to be troublesome," Cho Moon-Ju said while he tapped his fingers on the table loudly.

Just then, a staff knocked and entered. When she looked at the PD's annoyed face, she quickly asked.

"PD-nim, what's the matter?"

The PD shook his head in disbelief.

"We have to have an urgent meeting with Jinyoung's manager. We might have to terminate his contract."

----------

Hi, guys! I'm back! I'm sorry for taking too long to update but I'm really busy with life and all. This is my last year in university before I'll get even busier. How are you? I hope we all can hold on!

I might get mixed reaction from this chapter. So basically the whole scenario about them not liking Never Ever is because...I just..think they don't really give them all in this comeback but what do I know. But the reason is mostly because I've read somewhere (a tweet) that Jaebum said he doesn't really like Never Ever. When I tried to find the tweet again, I couldn't find it.

But after Never Ever, can you guys feel that their music has started to have soul, especially Jaebum's You Are. It's like a beginning of a new era. I can feel the freedom in the song, to really compose a song that you like. You Are remains my most favorite GOT7 song, and the song got me into this fandom.

As the story goes, you'll see that the growth of GOT7 has an important part, even in the relationship between Jinyoung and Jisoo. We'll see, hehehe.

By the way, fun facts!

1. Cho Moon-Ju is the PD-nim of Inkigayo. How do I know? From Jisoo's post on Instagram I think. She wrote a thanks-to and wrote the names of staffs that she's recognized. But..I don't know if Cho Moon-Ju is a he or a she.
2. Back then Yugyeom used to say that he wanted to collaborate with 15& Yerin and the boys would always about her. But he was friendzoned, haha.
3. It's impossible for Jinyoung's fan not to know about Sseulbaby. Hahaha.

By the way..I wrote another Jinji one-shot but it's...

I can give you a snippet.

"Soo." His voice was low as he seductively called her pet name, right beside her ear. His right hand was now moving under her sweater, touching her bare stomach while he smooched the nape of her neck—his favorite part.

Goosebumps. Jisoo felt her breath hitched.

"Jinyoung...," Jisoo sighed contently, his name, feeling so hot all of the sudden. However, she decided to control herself a little bit more to finish washing the dishes.

"Jinyoung, let met finish thi-"

But before she could finish her sentence, Jinyoung turned her to face him and roughly kissed her, and tucking her lower lips as he did. Unable to stop what he was doing to her, Jisoo put her wet and soapy hands on his shoulders, squeezing his shirt for support, feeling her knees quickly losing strength. She felt even weaker when his tongue her lips, begging to enter. She tried to keep up, to control her moans, but she felt she was about to explode.

And it most certainly doesn't help that her boyfriend had the softest, most squishy lips in the world.
