Summary: Taehyung has picked up an annoying quirk and Yoongi might or might not be just too close to snapping (and where Yoongi prides himself in having 'Taehyung tolerance').

Lately, Kim Taehyung had picked up an annoying quirk. He had been addicted to the phrase, 'cherry on the top of the cake'. There was nothing wrong with this, of course, but just like everything that is overdone, too much use of it had brought Yoongi (righteously) on the verge of stabbing the tan boy with his ball-point pen.

The first time it happened, Yoongi had been mildly amused. They had been sitting together on the couch on their rare free days, a big bowl of popcorn on his lap, debating on the movie choice. They had already watched the latest Disney animation and the sappy romcom (Jimin's recommendation to Taehyung) and had even gone on to watching some third grade thriller-mystery. At this point, Yoongi just wanted to watch something calming (like cake decoration, but he wouldn't admit that out loud, of course) and go to bed, preferrably with Taehyung in his arms. Sadly, his lover had other plans as he slid out from under the blanket draped over their laps and went to plug in another DVD. "Taetae, what are you playing now?" Yoongi asked, trying to keep the exhaustion out of his voice. "A horror movie, hyung!" the younger boy announced, cheerily. Yoongi sat up straighter and and looked at the time. "Are you sure? It's long past midnight..." he trailed off, knowing there wasn't a point continuing that train of thought. 

"Of course, hyung!" the other said, completely unfazed. "After all, watching a scary movie in the middle of the night is the cherry on the top!"

That was bearable. Heck, Yoongi had found it endearing and even chuckled. However, after that, Taehyung had kept on repeating it. The second time it happened, Yoongi had a similar reaction, so did he when Taehyung said the same thing for the third and the fourth time. The fifth time it happened, Yoongi was unaffected. He had been silently working on his designing. He had plenty of time before the due date but he liked to be prepared in advanc
