The Basketballer and the Violinist [ F ]
The 30 Day Taegi Challenge!A/n: Omg, I love going on a writing spree! I personally love this chapter. It took me the longest so far, but whatever. I hope you guys like it too <333
Summary: There have been rumors about a ghost in the school auditorium and Yoongi is just a little bit too curious to check it out.
Taehyung liked silence. He liked feeling his fingers glide along the strings as his bow fluidly swam with practiced ease. He liked listening to his thrumming heartbeat synchronise with the melody pouring out from his violin. What he didn't like was loud noises, human contact, and the the boy grinning at him right now while dribbling his basketball. The constant 'tap tap tap' of the ball was getting on his nerves, as was the teasing glint in the pale male's eyes. He tried to walk away again, this time shifting to the left. And once again the other boy blocked his way. Taehyung frowned. It was getting rather late and he was rather tired. The school had long since closed and his mother had texted him to get back an hour ago.
"What do you want, sir?" he asked, putting on a brave façade. "Oh!" the other exclaimed, "so you can talk?" The creases on Taehyung's forehead deepened. "What is that supposed to mean?" "Nothing, really. I just assumed ghosts could only shout and scream," was the nonchalant reply. "And why would you suppose I was a ghost?" Taehyung inquired. It was ridiculous, really; him being a ghost! In fact, if anything, it was the boy in front of him who looked more like a wandering spirit. What with the pale skin and devilish grin. The other boy sighed and catching his ball, sat down on it.
"So, you're not a ghost. How disappointing. Anyway, nice to meet you stranger, I'm Min Yoongi." He extended his hand and chuckled at Taehyung's shocked expression. He was aware of his fame in the school as one of the best basketball players. He was also aware of his fangirls and fanclubs. He was always aware of things. Which was why it had surprised him when he had heard about the 'Ghost in the Auditorium'.
Yoongi smirked, the ball nearly swimming from the palm of his hand and into the hoop, soundlessly dancing down the net and hitting the ground. The lay-up shot was perfect, like always. He heard his friend call for a wrap and they all nearly crawled to their water bottles. "What's the time, bro?" He heard one of his teammates ask as he felt the water draining out his exhaustion. "!" the other boy replied and hastened his movements. "It's already 8:30, we better get going." Yoongi nearly choked on his second swig of water. "Get going? When did you guys turn into a bunch'a sissies?" He mockingly questioned. He was serious, though. They used to practice till 10:30 everyday before. "It's not that we're sissies, Yoongs," one of the boys from the other side of the court answered. "It's because of the ghost in the auditorium that we're all hurrying home." Yoongi frowned, never having heard this before. He asked for clarification which their point gaurd happily gave. He said that a few months ago, right after the winter break had ended, a ghost had started living in their school auditorium. One day, a group of students were walking past it and one of them heard a violin playing from inside the auditorium. The boys peeped inside but didn't see anything, it was pitch dark. And yet, the melancholic melody floating
