The cold evening breeze stung my cheeks, the weather harsher than it normally was. I dug my chin deep into my jacket, trying to shield my face as much as i can. As i stood by the road, waiting for the green man, i noticed something playing on the titantron in Shibuya. The tunes from Twice's new song rang throughout the streets, catching the attention of quite a few of the by-standers. As the MV played on the tron, I heard a couple of cheers from a group of men standing by the streets. They had what was probably Twice memorabilia. I couldn't help but laugh a little, still not used to japan's idol culture. Knowing my past experiences with idol fans, i bet these guys were the hardcore types, with all kinds of memorabilia and towels wrapped around them, Imagine their ire if they find out I was acquaintences with them. The little sadist in me couldn't help it.

I continued observing the fans, trying to pick up on the little details on their memorabilia. I saw one holding a mini fan with Jungyeon's face on it and again i let out a little laugh. The man, probably in his late 20s, was holding the fan close to his heart, with a a towel with her name on it wrapped around his neck. How lucky of her, to have such fans. Helps that her towel had a real rad design.

I turned my attention back to the tron, watching as a solo scene with Mina came on. It was one of those eye contact scenes, and my eyes were instantly drawn to hers. Her eyes were magnified on that huge tron and the lights and size made those brown irises even more mesmerizing than i remembered. She suddenly did a kissing motion towards the camera, and my hand shot up to my face without me even realising it. I rubbed my lips, trying to pacify it's loneliness, and my own. Been awhile since the last time, and i couldn't help but feel my heart beat once again as Mina's smile flash on the screen. 

The sudden pushing reminded me that i was still at a junction, and that people were starting to cross the roads. I slipped the bag of coffee from work to my other hand, and sleeping my right hand into my pockets. As i started to cross the road, a new ad started playing on the tron, and a familiar voice played out. I stopped in my tracks and looked up as familiar faces appeared on the screen. Once again i heard cheers from some fans but i could hardly be bothered, as the girl group performing threw me back to 2 years ago. Memories started flashing through my eyes as i stood there. 

'Guess theyre doing fine for themselves.'

The ad was reaching its end, and the camera focused on two faces i was quite familiar with. The words 19th single echoed throughout, making me smile a little. They really were making a name for themselves.

"Guess she got center again"

"Hey, hell took you so long!"

Juns voice was the first thing that greeted me as i entered the recording studio. 

"I was getting you coffee you ungrateful dip! Plus I was waiting for Mr ara to call."

"Oh sweet!"

Ami came running up to me at the mention of coffee. 

"Yours is the latte. I labeled it."

She took out the only latte in the bag before running up to give me a hug.

"Man you always give Ami special treatment"

Seiya whined as he took out the black coffee i got for the rest. 

"If you don't want any, you don't have to."

I quipped as i walked past him, taking the coffee out of his hands and taking a sip. He took out another from the bag before flipping me off.

"So did ya hear the new songs?"

"Yeah Jun sent it to us. I'm fine with the first two but the last one seems a little..."

"A little?"

I stared at Seiya, waiting for his answer. He took a sip of his coffee before picking up his bass. 

"It's a little hard for me to make a new bassline for it. It sounds too similar to Business."

"Not to mention the lyrics."

Jun quipped in from behind me, a sandwich in hand.

"Right. I wasn't too happy with those myself. So what, should we scrap that last one?"

"Well unless you have another one in mind, we can't scrap the song. We need at least 3 new songs or else the it aint worth it."

The three of us sat there, wondering what to do. Ami sat on the couch, strumming her guitar, busy with her own brainstorming. I turned to Jun, a small idea forming in my head.

"Didn't you write some? You had a couple of songs you wanted to write down back then didnt you? Did you put them on paper?"

"Well yeah but.."

"Play it."

Seiya handed him a guitar, telling him to just play it.

"Sounds pretty good. I could definitely play around with my bass for this one. But what about the lyrics"

"Well thats the problem i guess. I got stuck with that part so i kinda just gave up."

Jun leaned back, scratching his head. I couldn't blame him there. Writing lyrics was always a pain, and Jun wasn't exactly the most 'poetic'.

"Yeah i guess you could leave that to me. I kinda got an idea for what to write for that song."

"Of course you do. I can't even be surprised."

Jun stood up to lean the guitar back in its stand. He walked to his bag and rummaged around for a sec

"Now lets all take a break. I've got something to help us relax."

He took out a cd out of his bag, a slight smile on his face. I noticed the design and knew exactly what it was.

"When the hell did you get the time to buy that?"

"I didn't! My colleague's just a huge fan of them apparently. And since we're gonna be meeting them soon, it's just good manners we enjoy their songs as they have enjoyed ours."

Ami threw a napkin from across the room, hitting Jun square on the face.

"Alright so which one's the one you trying to impress?"

"I have no idea what you-"

Another napkin smacked him in the eye

"I have no idea what you- Stop it, he- AMI STOP, WH- Where are you getting these napk- OKAY FINE!"

The barrage of napkins finally stopped with Ami laughin as she threw one last napkin bomb at him. 

"So who's the girl?"

She had another napkin in hand, ready to throw if he tried avoiding the question.

"You remember the girl with the bunny teeth? Nayeon i think? She's pretty cute."

He had a slight grin on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Ohhhhh lil lover boy."

"Shut up up Seiya. i saw how you looked at that Sana girl."

The slight jab came out of nowhere and shut Seiya up. 

"Well your girls are cute and all but i have to say, MY FAN JUNGYEON IS CUTE!"

All three of us turned to look at Ami, who for some reason had a dumb grin on her face. Her face was beet red but it wasn't out of embarrassement.

"Ah crap, she found the beer stash."

"That explains it."

Among the havoc, my phone started ringing.

"Hey why ya'll attacking me? What about Mr I-Don't-like-idols over there. I;m damn sure his eyes were on someone."

"Well unfortunately, I gotta answer this call."

I walked out of the studio to get away from the ruckus, finally answering the phonecall.

"Hello? Who's this?"

""Hey, It's me, Mina"
