The young man slowly opens his eyes. It is a place he isn't familiar. No matter how he wandered his eyes around, nothing was certain. He heard a knock and man came in. He was wearing a camouflage shirt, dirty green pants, laced up boots and a pair of sunglasses

"You're awake"

The man said to him and threw a smile. He looks young and sturdy. He looks like a rich person or a celebrity for instance, but he is certain that the man serves the military

"Do...you...know me?"

He asked. The man chuckled lightly and responded with a nod before sitting down on the bed where he stays

"You're inside a hospital. My name is Park Jimin. You? What's your name?"

The man who introduced himself as Park Jimin said. He wasn't certain about what to say. His head feels empty. He's lost of words

"I see. The doctor told me you have some kind of partial amnesia. So, it's true"

Jimin said

"Jeon Jungkook. I suppose that's your name. It's written at the back of your shirt"

Jimin added

"Jeon Jungkook"

He said to himself while wandering his thoughts

"Where did you find me? What happened to me?"

He asked

"I was also wondering why. Someone happened to find your body floating at Han River. Did you commit suicide? No. You have a bullet in your side. Lucky you it's not too deep. But you must have hit your head somewhere"

Jimin explained. Jungkook was lost of words. He felt pity to himself that he couldn't remember anything. Is there a family he has to go home to every night and say his goodbyes on mornings? What about friends? Or is there someone who tries to find him?

"Hey, young man"

Jimin called his attention and gave a small smirk as soon as he directed his gaze to him

"You're not a registered citizen"

Jimin said. Jungkook frowned

"That only means, you'll be held captive. No more questions. Police officers will sue you for illegal immigration"

Jimin said abruptly. Jungkook's eyes were shaking. It tells you immediately that he's afraid. Of course. Who wouldn't be? He has amnesia and is found out to be unregistered. Where else will he go? Perhaps, he thought for a second that a prison can be his home but not for long

"Save me"

He said out of the blue. Jimin chuckled

"Why would I? I don't even know you and your whereabouts. Tell me if I'm wrong about saying this"

Jimin stated. Jungkook can't argue. It's hard to trust anyone nowadays for sure. He is someone unidentified and who knows what is he capable of. It is just right for this man to refuse me, Jungkook thought. Even he himself, fears what he can do and who he really is

"Do you really want me to save you?"

Jimin asked Jungkook out of nowhere. It was a dead long silence but he spoke so sudden. Jungkook, out of instinct, nodded continuously to Jimin

"Then, I'll just have to claim that you're a relative or what"

Jimin said, stood up and attempted tp leave Jungkook before the younger held on the hemm of his camouflage shirt

"What is it?"

Jimin asked, looking pissed. He hates this gesture. It's like pleading without even getting a chance for yourself to fight. It's like giving in with no direct context

"But you said I'm unregistered. How will they believe you?"

Jungkook asked

"I only have those papers in my hands. No more copies"

Jimin said and brush off Jungkook's hand as he finally walked out of the younger's room in the hospital

Jungkook smiled at what Jimin did. Somewhere inside him felt that somebody before acts like that as well. As if he doesn't care but actually does. Not longer, Dr. Kim Seokjin entered the room to check his vitals

"Wow. The nurses told me you're good looking. I can't deny. But I'm more than good looking"

Dr. Kim said and winked to the younger which made Jungkook chuckle

"Jimin said you're the adopted son of his uncle who died last month"

Dr. Kim asked and Jungkook just nodded. 'Adopted' son, Jungkook hissed but also finds the older's way of hiding a bit funny

"Don't worry, in a week, you'll be discharged. You're recovering fast, young man"

Dr. Kim said and patted Jungkook's shoulders before he leaves the room as Jungkook falls asleep again

A week after, Jungkook got discharged from the hospital and Jimin offered his home

"Hyung"

Jungkook called out which made Jimin chuckle

"I don't remember permitting you to call me that"

Jimin said. Jungkook smiled, showing his bunny teeth to the older and made him chuckle again

"Alrigt. Call me whatever you want. I'll show you your room"

Jimin said and led Jungkook to his room. Of course, he knows that he seldom or shall he say 'rare' that he sleeps here

"Taehyung will be here in a moment. He's my best friend, so you can count on him as well"

Jimin said. A minute or two passed and the door opened throwing Taehyung inside of the house

"Jimin-ah! Jimin-ah! I'm home!"

His voice echoed everywhere. Jimin and Jungkook went out of the room and went downstairs to greet Taehyung and Jimin smacked his head as soon as he reached him

"YAH!"

Taehyung ranted

"Too loud. By the way, this is Jungkook. The one I'm telling you the night before. He'll be staying in here until his memories come back"

Jimin said

"Hello!"

Taehyung joyfully greeted the younger

"Hello"

Jungkook shyly responded

"He's of my age. You can call him hyung if you want as well. I'll be out for a while. I need to report to Yoongi hyung"

Jimin said

"Aish! Is he assigning you again?! Two of your people are still in the hospital. He can't do that"

Taehyung ranted. Jimin patted his head and ruffled his hair

"He's not assigning me again. Maybe he'll give the team a break or so. I'll be heading now. Make him eat something delicious Taehyung-ah! Please don't burn the house down, you better go and eat elsewhere"

Jimin said as he packs his things in the living room and finally went out of the house

"Come here. Sit down. Do you want some ramen?"

Taehyung asked Jungkook with a wide smile. Jungkook nodded to him but of course, Jimin's right. Eating outside will be the best

"Ah! Let's go out and eat something more delicious"

Taehyung suggested. The two went out and had a walk on the streets of Seoul. Jungkook looked at everywhere fascinated. It feels so new to him. He thought thay maybe, he haven't seen Seoul before. Taehyung dragged Jungkook inside a convenience store, bought two ramens and two sodas

"Let's eat!"

Taehyung said excitedly. Jungkook thanked him for the meal. He thought this man wanted to eat something more delicious but it is still ramen in front of him

"Oh. Sorry. I promise I'll bring you to a restaurant or a cafe soon, Jungkook-ah. You know? Jimin didn't spare me some money today. He forgot about it and just flew off to Yoongi hyung! Tss"

Taehyung said, almost a rant of a child who's jealous of his playmate having a nicer toy

"Can I call you hyung, hyung?"

Jungkook asked

"Why? How old are you? I can't let you call me hyung when I do--"

Taehyung's words were cut off by Jungkook who excitedly said his age

"21!"

Taehyung opened his mouth wide

"You can remember now?! Whoa!"

Taehyung said

"Uh, no. Jimin hyung told me that I am 21. It was written in my shirt. "전종국, 21, 막내""

Jungkook explained

"Oh. I thought you already had your memories back"

Taehyung said

"Seokjin hyung told me that I'll have a hard time remembering if I won't go to places that'll remind me of who I am"

Jungkook said

"Ahh...Ah! Shall we go to a place? You're 21! For sure, you'll know how to use it"

Taehyung said excitedly. They finished their ramen in one gulp and proceeded to a nearby internet café

"Hyung, I don't know how to use this"

Jungkook said hesitantly

"You'll remember how when it finally opens. You'll see. Losing your memory won't let you lose your skills too"

Taehyung said with confidence. But Jungkook is so lost. His hands won't move and his head feels empty. It feels like he hasn't touched one before or even saw one before

"Yah. Why are you not starting? You have to go here. Double click and the game will load"

Taehyung said

"I don't really know how to use it hyung. I don't think I am from Seoul. Everything seems foreign to me"

Jungkook said sadly. Taehyung's eyes were bothered. He felt pity for some reason but Jimin taught him before that the word 'pity' won't solve anything or make someone else feel better. It's better not to show pity when you can't even console

"Shall I teach you how?"

Taehyung offered

"Hyung"

Jungkook said. He didn't expect that

"Yah. I feel that you're a fast learner"

Taehyung said and showed Jungkook a smile. The younger was thankful. Taehyung taught him the basics of using a PC and it took them 5 hours in the café including Taehyung, losing three times in a row with Jungkook 

"Are you sure you're a first timer?! You defeated me! And I bet you are really from Seoul or anywhere as long as there is a PC!"

Taehyung still rants

"You taught me too well, hyung. Thanks to you. And yes, maybe"

Jungkook said, grateful and with a little taste of sarcasm

"Tss. Next time, I'll defeat you. Watch me!"

Taehyung said

"I'll do better next time too, hyung"

Jungkook said and the two of them laughed while walking down the streets of Seoul and having one hotteok each on hand and a soda

"Jimin-ah! Are you home?"

Taehyung called. But the only response is the aromatic flavor of food served in the kitchen. Jimin cooked for them.

"Are you having fun so far, young man?"

Jimin asked Jungkook

"Yes hyung. Taehyung hyung taught me to play in the PC. I defeated him in Overwatch"

Jungkook proudly said

"Well done adjusting"

Jimin praised him

"Let's eat"

He added. Taehyung rushed to prepare the table and the three of them shared meals during the night. After dinner, Taehyung falls asleep immediately in the living room's sofa while watching cartoon. Jimin on the other hand cleans his gun and Jungkook watches him

"Are you really working for the military, hyung?"

Jungkook asked and earned a nod from the older

"I wonder why I am looking like this at your gun. I want to hold it. And I feel like I am good at it, hyung"

Jungkook explained himself. His heart is pounding excitedly. It's as if he saw himself shooting guns really fantastic

"Overwatch might influenced you. That game is different from my job, kid. This is dangerous"

Jimin said

"How is it dangerous, hyung? I think it's fun saving the country"

Jungkook said

"Yeah. It is. But sometimes, having fun means danger too"

Jimin said and smirked

"Do you want to hold a real gun?"

Jimin asked the younger. Jungkook smiled and nodded. Jimin smirked and continued wiping his gun to make it shine even more

"Why aren't you giving me the gun still, hyung? I thought you'd let me touch it"

Jungkook saida and pouted like a kid. Jimin chuckled

"I said it's dangerous. Even Taehyung, I don't let him touch this kind of things"

Jimin said

"Maybe I am a bit different with Taehyung hyung"

Jungkook said. Jimin can't believe the younger's braveness. It seems like he saw himself being like that to his father when he was still young

"Do you really want to hold it?"

Jimin asked again

"Nah. Not anymore when you'll not let me ho--"

Jimin threw the gun towards Jungkook's direction. And with fast reflexes, Jungkook catched it and aimed the gun towards Jimin's direction

"Am I good enough, hyung?"

Jungkook asked excitedly and twirled the gun on his palm and fingers, as if like a pro. Jimin noticed it and just smirked

"You're quite good at it"

Jimin said and walked towards Jungkook. He took the gun away from the younger and this time, is the one who directed it on Jungkook's direction - towards Jungkook's forehead. Jimin clicked the trigger and smirked

"You need to load your gun before pointing it out, kid"

Jimin said and twirled the gun on his palm and fingers, twice as fast as what Jungkook did

"And this is how you should let it run on your hands"

Jimin added and smirked. Jungkook chuckled

"Teach me often, hyung. I might consider doing the military when my memories are back"

Jungkook said

"Go back to your family first and tell them that"

Jimin said. He pulled the bullets out and placed it in a safety

"Let's head in"

Jimin told Jungkook

"I'll wake Taehyung hyung up"

Jungkook said

"Nah. Leave him be. He prefers the sofa rather than his own bed"
