The day of finals came by. Maple’s players proved to be the best, kicking of all the teams and finally landing in for the finals. Their opponents are from Shinwha High and those jocks are not to be taken easy. Boys of Fab6 are the player, so isn’t it obvious about the cheer girl team. Sana and Yoona were part of it while Winni, not being confident with all the skin show, decided to cheer for her best friends. But she was actually there to cheer someone else…secretly.

All the players are in the locker room, getting ready for the big match. Everyone was in their bright mood while Kai was sitting there, pissed off. Their captain just had to decide D.O as the main player. How can he even think about it..?? That owl looking fellow just came few months ago, how he can just steal his title so easily..? Kai wanted to argue so bad with Xiumin, but he respect the older a lot. He is his older cousin and he was someone he looks up to. So Kai decided to take the situation into his hands. He is the star player and he is gonna be.. no one are going to steal it from him and he will make sure of it. He smirked when an idea popped in his mind.

D.O was putting on his jersey when Jackson came towards him.

“Hey, the captain told us to get some towels from the janitor room. Come on, we don’t have time. Let’s go.” He dragged D.O with him, not giving a chance for the later to speak. Little did he know what was about to happen. Reaching there, Jackson made D.O to go in and locked the door, leaving him inside. When D.O found the towels and came back, he realized that he was trapped and he definitely knows who was behind this.

The game was about to start in a minute and that’s when the captain realized that D.O is missing.

“Where is D.O..??!!!”

“We don’t know hyung. We searched for him everywhere but he is nowhere to be found. If you want us to check the locker room and showers, we did, but he is not there.” Replied JB

“What the hell…the game is about to start..?!!!!” by then Xiumin was already pulling his hair. Kai sure did felt a bit guilty for being the reason his hyung going bald.

“Hyung, let Bam Bam play this time. I will take the lead. Don’t worry; we are going to win this game.”

Saying that Kai marched into the field followed by the rest of the team. Xiumin can only wonder where his another star player is.

Half way through the match, everything was going so damn good. Maple was leading and Kai putting his amazing skills to display. The cheer girls were jumping with their pom poms up in the sky and Winni, she was so impressed at her tiny crush. Second round of the game started when Sana asked Winni to go grab some towels from the janitors’ room. She walked back into the campus and towards the janitor’s room when she heard faint knocks. She got petrified because the whole place was empty but soon realized that they were from the other side of the janitors door. She grabbed onto it and unlocked the door, only to find a figure coughing his lungs out. She recognized him immediately when he stepped out of the dark room.

“Kyungsoo oppa..??!!!!” she reached onto his shoulders when he feel down, still coughing.

“Kyungsoo oppa, what are you doing in there.?? Why are you not at the game..??”

“I got locked..*cough* up”

“Locked up..??!! But who..??”

“Jackson Wang.”

“Jackson..?? Then it must be…” she stopped her sentence when D.O coughed even hard.

“Come on oppa, let’s get you to Infirmary.” Saying that Winni helped the almost unconscious D.O as she finishes of incomplete sentence in her mind. If it’s Jackson Wang, then the one behind this is the one and only KingKa

The match was finally over, Maple won and Kai was the player of the game. The whole school was celebrating the victory. Kai’s grandpa was there too, congratulating his grandson. From the corner of his eyes, Kai saw Xiumin, speaking to Winni. He can see his hyung expression changing from astonished to angry then to concern. He immediately ran out the field with Winni tailing behind. He furrowed wondering what’s wrong when Jackson came by and whispered against his ear.

“Sumbanim. That D.O is in infirmary and …and I think he knows it’s you.”

“.” He just can’t let anyone know about it. All his reputation he gained today will go in wan. Especially not in front of his grandfather.

Reaching there, he found D.O lying on the bed, with Xiumin, Winni and the school nurse standing beside him.

“What happened to him.??” Asked Xuimin.

“Nothing much. He has an allergy for dust and being locked in that room didn’t help. I gave him some anti-allergy drugs and He is all fine now.” Saying that the nurse left the room, while a fuming Xiumin turned toward D.O

“Who did this to you..?? Who was the one who locked you up in that room.??!!”

D.O throws one calm glance at Kai, making him all tensed. He got even more tensed when he felt his grandfather’s presence behind. Kai waited nervously for D.O to reply. After what seemed like an entity, he finally replied and that was definitely not what Kai had expected. He stared at D.O with his eyes as big as D.O’s when Xiumin asked him repeat his answer.

“No one. I went into the Janitors to get some towels, but it got locked on its own. Maybe there is something wrong with that door, you should get it fixed.”

“Are you sure it was no one..??”

“Of coures hyung. Why would I lie to you? I am fine now so you should just let it slide. And we won the game.!! It’s time to celebrate..!!Even though I didn’t participate, I am still a member of the soccer team. So I am coming for the after party.”

Xiumin could only chuckle. “Sure buddy, you are always welcomed.”

“Then go get the arrangements done.”

“OKOK man I am going.”

Sir Kim smiles at D.O and left the room along with Xiumin, while Winni ran out after them, leaving behind D.O and Kai.

D.O got down of his bad, fixing his hair and putting on his shoes when Kai finally spoke.

“Why did you do that.??”

“What.??”

“That.. a while ago..Why didn’t you say it was me..?”

“Because I am not as bad as you..?” Kai tsked at it to which D.O chuckled.

“Kidding..I just didn’t want to take it too far. I know why you did it. If I was in you place I would have done the same. Who likes it when someone steal your title away.” D.O spoke with his right hand on Kai’s left shoulder.

“And I don’t think I deserve it..yet. you worked hard today and you are the one who bought our team to victory. So you deserve it. I will steal it from you later..” now, It was Kai’s turn to chuckle.

He walked towards the exit, pausing a little and turned back with a soft smile.

“Meet you at the after party.. and ha..Winni too knows it’s you. Just because I didn’t reveal it doesn’t guarantee your safety ..so you should take care of it. See you later.”

“.” And that was enough to bring all the panic back.

Kai had been searching the whole campus but there is no sight of that peanut. Oh god, why is Maple so huge. It took him almost an hour to find the library considering the fact that he had never been there. But all his efforts didn’t pay off when he didn’t find her even there. He was about to leave the place when he found Lay, sitting in a corner, drowned in books with the title he don’t even know.

“Ya..Have you seen that tiny friend of yours.. what’s her name again..ha..Winni..Have you seen Winni..??”

Lay jolted up from his books, fear clearly evident in his eyes. Sighing, Kai spoke once again in calmer voice.

“Ya.. I am not gonna bully her. I have a really important thing to discuss with her. Just tell me where she is.”

“She should either be in class, or with Sana or here in library.”

“I already searched the class. She is not with Sana and neither in this library. Do you know any other place she goes.??”

“ha..she might be on the rooftop. She once told me that she really liked that greenhouse up there. You should go check it out”

Greenhouse..?? Why had he never knew about it?

The sky was pleasant, the evening breeze chilly and melody of the birds tweeting in the air. And here he was standing at the entrance of the greenhouse, gazing at the girl sitting between the beautiful colors of flowers. She was sitting on the bench, with a tiny book of romantic novel in her lap, with a smile on her face; occasionally giggling making her eyes turn crescent. Kai had to admit, the sight was mesmerizing and he just doesn’t know why his tiny heart is doing summersaults in there. Kai moved clumsily, knocking down a hanging flower pot to the ground, breaking it into pieces. The sound made Winni get on her feet, eyes wide and stare at the culprit. Caught red handed, Kai coughed awkwardly, straightening his back and he just don’t know why the hell his cheeks are burning. Oh right, because of embarrassment.

“I…hmm..ahh..” what the ..?? Why can’t he speak? ?? Why the hell, he, a bully is shuttering in front of his victim..?? he should go meet a doctor.

“Don’t worry. I am not going to tell anyone.”

“What..??”

“That..That thing that happened with Kyungsoo oppa.. I am not going to tell anyone”

“Kyungsoo..oppa..??”

“D.O oppa..i am talking about D.O oppa.”

“Yeah..Right..Don’t tell anyone..If you do..You are so dead..Got it..??!!” Saying that, Kai walked away fuming. Kyungsoo oppa..?? Why is she calling him oppa when they are of same grade? Then again, why does it even matter to him..??
