Sana enters into her house to a chilling silence. She asked baek to come back but he refused to. He left with Hera to her house and he was determined with his decision. She was glad that her oppa is sticking with his future wife and kids being responsible he is. She is not going to force him to do something. Instead she is going to speak things out with their father. He might be authoritative but he is still a father. She walks into her father’s study room and finds him immersed in a book, sitting in his chair.

“Appa, I have something to speak to you.”

“Not now. I have important things to do.”

“What is more important than your family dad..??”

“SANA..!!” her mom shouts, standing at the door way with a cup of coffee.

“Let me speak mom, I am done with their cold war. Appa, What is my favorite food ..??”

“What.??”

“Just answer me appa. What is it..??”

“Lychee ”

“Then tell me what is the food that oppa despise the most.??”

“What..?? why does that even matter..??”

“It matters appa. These tiniest details are what that matters. If you don’t even care about them, why would you even care about something bigger..??”

“That’s what oppa thinks dad. There is this stereotype that is set up in his head that you have to break. I know that you love us but I have to agree with oppa that you did treat him more like your heir than your son. It’s not like he doesn’t love you but you just made him into someone else. When I used to cling onto you acting all cute, you used to laugh it off but when oppa did it, you lectured him to be a more matured. How can you say that to a kid dad..?? at that tender age of ten, he started to build up a wall around him, hiding his true self away from this world. He is a goofy guy to us and responsible young men for you but neither of them are his true self dad. Hyeran unni is the one who bought him out. She might not see but she made Baekhyun see the real world.”

Sana walks to her dad, kneeling beside him and taking his hands into hers, holding them tight.

“Don’t let the society mutilate you dad. You are going to be a grandfather and oppa is going to be a father soon because he know it dad. He knew that she is the one, just like how mom was the one for you. Mom was from our society so it was easy for you to have a happy ending. Let oppa have his too dad. Don’t stop him from getting the happiness he deserves. Don’t stop him from becoming back to his true self and most importantly, don’t stop loving him. Show him dad. Show him the love you have for him. The past can hurt but the way you see it, you can either run from it or learn from it.”

Sana’s face was stained with tears and her mom was crying, hugging her father from behind. Mr. Byun closes his eyes, finally letting his tears fall and Sana knows, she knows how much her Appa love her stupid twin.

It was early in the morning when Baekhyun waits at the main door holding Hyeran’s hand. The main door opens revealing his mom and baek was sure she cried, making him felt blameworthy for making her cry. He walks in to find Sana who right away hugging her twin and his girlfriend, whispering that their dad is waiting for them in his study. He walks in, still holding Hera close to him.

“Sit down. It’s not good to stand that long.” His father voices out referring to Hera. Baek guides her to a chair and he finally stands in front of his father.

Mr. byun sighs before speaking again. “I..will accept you. I will accept my future grandchild too, but I need some time. This is too much to sink in a short time, but I will eventually accept. And son….I am sorry. I didn’t realize that I was pressuring you to be a responsible heir instead of treating you like a son. I am sorry, I thought that giving what you want will be my way expressing my love but I didn’t know that I was supposed to tell you son, tell you that I love you and be the person you want. Forgive me my son.” His father was breaking down and Baekhyun instantly wrapped his arms around his dad, crying along with him.

“I am sorry too appa. I am sorry for speaking so rudely with you. I am sorry for not understanding the way you love me dad. I am sorry.”

Hyeran sure couldn’t see, but she knew how precious his father is for him. Mrs. Byun hugs her now daughters and look at the father and son union, with tear stained eyes.

All the problems settle down and everything come to peace. Baekhyun father did keep his promise. Hyeran moved in with them and house just got even more colorful. Mrs. Byun was treating her with lot of care and her father was slowly opening up. Soon Suho’s wedding came by and every one flew To Bali. It was Jisoo’s Choice of dream wedding and why would Suho deny..?? They land at in Ngurah Rai international airport in Suho’s private jet and check into Avana resort and spa. He booked the whole place exclusively for his wedding. It was a private beach wedding, with only family and friends. The place was decorated in a beautiful theme of orchids. The groom was standing at the end of the aisle with his groom’s man who was dressed in all white custom made suit, with the most genius smile on his face. Soon the Best man Do Kyungsoo and Brides maid Byun Sana walks in, linking their hands and take their respective places on the either side of the groom. Soon the bride walks in with her bride’s maids, her friend Rose and the rest of the three maple girls walking ahead, throwing flower petals into air. The whole time D.O was all happy, showing off his heart smile. He was a bit uncomfortable when his father and step mom came, but surprisingly she wasn’t bad to him. Now he knows where his Suho hyung got his character from. He stares at Sana who was smiling back at him. She looked totally mesmerizing in her baby blue flawless knee length dress with a bunch of orchids in her hair. She looked so natural, with no layers of makeup, just like he saw in the orphanage. He smiles wider, feeling blissful just looking at her. There was a brief image of Sana in a white dress, more like a wedding dress, walking towards him, crossing his mind but he immediately shook it off. What was he even thinking..?? . The wedding begin, the groom and bride share their vows and seal their marriage with a pair of Candala and Co. platinum rings and a sweet kiss. End of the wedding Jisoo throws her bouquet and it lands directly in Jennifer’s hands, earning her lots of tease and to Chanyeol’s dismay.

It was followed by a private reception inside the ball room and every one came back, changing into more sophisticated outfits contrary to the beach themed once. The light music was played as the newlywed’s moved to the tune with other couples. Yoona and lay were among them and Xiumin didn’t like it. When he meet Lay after a long while, the first thing he saw was his sister being all clingy onto him like glue. Lay did try to make her let him go but she never did. Xiumin being the gentleman he is decided to let it go for now, but he is going to make sure he go through this matter later. Baek and Hera were in a corner, in their own world, dancing. Chen asks Jennifer for a dance and she gladly accepts and same goes to Winni and Sehun. Kai and Sana were dancing together, smiling at each other.

“It’s been so long isn’t it.” Kai speaks, holding Sana loosely by her waist.

“Hmm, you don’t spend your alone time with me anymore. It’s like we are more of a best friends than a couple.”

D.O was sitting in one of the chairs as her watches Sana move along with Kai, with a bit of envy and lots of admiration.

“Isn’t she beautiful…??” he snaps his head at the sudden voice to find his sister in law sitting beside him. He shifts back his eyes towards the one she was referring to and nods his head, with a smile on his face.

“You..Like her, don’t you..??” Jisoo bend forwards, trying to catch his eyes and she was right, she did see something in his eyes. But the sparkle in his eyes disappear as he says “ but what to do, she is already someone else.”

She calmly pats his back assuring him that everything is going to be fine.

“You can at least ask her for a dance. Go you one side lover, go.” She pushes him ahead as he slowly makes his way to the dancing couple. By the time he reaches, the song changes and so do the partners and D.O right away uses that chance to approach Sana. Kai goes to Winni and Jennifer to Chanyeol. There was a slow tension building up between Chan and Jenni. Chanyeol was pissed before that she accepted Chen but with her in his arm, he was at peace. D.O and Sana smiled at each other as they moved.

“You did a great job today Mr. Best man.”

“You too Miss. Bride’s made.”

“You look pretty today peanut.”

“Ya, I am not a peanut” Kai was just making fun of Winni but he did feel, from the bottom of his heart that she looked absolutely gorgeous.

They soon moved to the pool side as the fireworks shoot up, making the night sky colorful. Winni looks at Kai and so do D.O at Sana, with a smile on their faces but lots of insecurities in their heart. Loving someone and having them love you back is the most precious thing in this world. But it was never written that it would happen, waiting and guilt eating you up, it will only make your heart shutter louder.

Coming back to Seoul, every one resumed their school. There was a drastic change in the behavior of Winni, D.O and so do Chanyeol. When he and Baek go into the swimming pool to meet Chen, he finds Jennifer already there, sitting in the edge and playing with Chen, who was in water. Baekhyun joins them right away but the scene really irritated him. once done, Chen and Jenni walk out gossiping and Chanyeol follows suit, trying his best to hide. But when he finds Jenni and Chen speaking something suspicious, he loses his .

“Jenny, I have something to confess to you.”

“What is it..??”

“I really like .”

“Really..??? Don’t tell me..”

“You are right.”

“OMG”

“Ya” they both get startled when Chanyeol jumps out of his hiding place, briskly walking toward them.

“Look, I am sorry. I know I was a jerk to you but you can’t blame me for that. You came all of a sudden, making my life upside down. But that doesn’t justify my actions. Stop ignoring me. I know I told you that your presence doesn’t matter, but since the day you changed, it became so hard for me. I forced you to ignore me in school but when we go back to the same home and you are yourself, I secretly liked it. I liked it when you cook breakfast for me, getting my uniform ready for the day, look after Toben, make dinner and wait for me every day even I ignored you like hell, but I secretly liked it a lot Jennifer. I know we got together for our parents business but I was selfish, thinking that I was the only victim when so was you. I am sorry but I want us to work, I want our marriage to work, Jenny. Please give me a chance.”

Chanyeol holds her by hands, standing close and looking down at her, deep into Jennifer’s eyes, who was having an heard time holding her tears.

“Wait, you guys are married..???!!!”

The high peach voice of that whiny Dinosaur made them realize that Chen was actually standing there, now staring at them with his mouth open.

“Yes, we are married. So what..?? Feeling sad that the girl you were crushing on is not available??. ”

“What..?? Eunji is taken..??”

“Eunji..??”

“Ha, the junior girl that I like.”

“So you like Eunji..?”

“Yes..what were you thinking..?? Don’t tell me you thought it was Jenny. Hahahahaha.” Chen started laughing, clenching his stomach. His laughter just attracted the whole students and when his friends came by; he was laterally screaming their secret to the whole world. And the very next instant, Chanyeol and Jennifer went missing, too flushed to be there.

Chanyeol drags Jenny to a deserted corner, pushing her against the wall and gasping for air, checking if there was any other sole around them. He looks down when Jenny weakly hits his torso, still with tears in her eyes.

“You idiot. Look what you have done. Now how am I going to show my face..?? it’s so embarrassing.”

“Am I.. an embarrassment to you.”

“NO..I am speaking about the situation we are in. you will never be an embarrassment to me. But you..?? what were you even thinking saying all that to Chen. You know how much of a big mouth he is. The whole school will know now.”

“Let them know”

“What..??”

“I said let the whole school know that you are mine. Mine and mine only.”

“No buts jenny. I really want us to work and I think I like you.”

Jennifer sprung forward, hugging Chanyeol by neck and pulling him down, timidly nodding her head making the giant elf smile wide.

I was practically proud of myself for that drama up there. Maybe being an Indian made me too dramatic.!!
