The next day when Kai walks into their hangout place, he sees Baek munching onto a burger and Chanyeol, playing darts , again.

“Now what’s wrong with him too??” he asks Baek, who asks Kai to wait until he swallow the food.

“I too don’t know. He wasn’t being himself since yesterday. He had been killing that dart board for who knows how long. I think something happened during the holidays. He ing didn’t contact any of us, as if he disappeared that whole while. I just saw him yesterday and when I asked him what he did during the break, he just shrugged it off telling he did something. What the hell happened to him..??”

“Wait let me talk to him.” Kai stood up when the bell rang, indicating the beginning of the first class. Putting the darts down, Chanyeol walks away. Kai and Baekhyun just look at each other, sighing.

The class starts and Miss Lee walks in.

“Ok class. We have a new transfer student from China. Please welcome her.” She speaks.

A girl walks in, clenching onto her pink Loius Vinton backpack. She stands in front of the class and introduce herself, bowing.

“Anyogasayo. I am Pa..Lee Jennifer. I am from China so my Korean is not that good. So please take care of me.”

“Thank you Miss Jennifer, please take a seat you are comfortable with.”

The whole class awed at how beautiful she was. She smiles her way throw the class and sits behind Winni, who immediately turns back and smiles cutely at the new girl.

Recess came and Chanyeol walks to his Locker before joining his friends for lunch. He was arranging few stuff when he felt someone tapping on his shoulder. He turns back to find Jennifer. “Anyoung oppa.” She greets cheerfully but Chanyeol immediately looks up. Not finding any other sole, he sighs as he pulls her to a vacuous corner, pushing her onto a wall and locking her between his long arms.

“What the hell do you think you are doing..??!!” he growls out, startling the poor girl.

“What did I do oppa.??”

Taking a long breath, he speaks again “Listen carefully. I don’t know who you are and you don’t know who I am. If you try to act smart, I don’t know what I will do. Get it..??” He hisses through his granting teeth.

Jennifer simply nodes her head and Chanyeol walks away, leaving her behind with teary eyes.

Not only Chanyeol was, Lay was also in a sore mood. The incident from the other day kept on laying in his head, refusing to leave. He hates to admit it but it was his first kiss, even though it was just a peck. He couldn’t even sleep the whole night and at exactly 2:43 AM, he was smiling like an idiot, too wide showing of his deep dimples. He wouldn’t deny the fact that he liked it or maybe like her. Their relationship changed a lot during the curse of time. Yoona wasn’t a to him anymore. Sure she still bullies him and he used to be scared of her, but not anymore. He became her free tutor and that’s when everything changed. She plays around, bullies him in cute way and acts all goofy around him, contrary to her y image. Lay, not being the one who show his feeling easily, acts all tsendera in front of her. But deep down he know, he know that Yoona was someone who, just like the nickname she gave him, made his life colorful like unicorns. His entire cheerful mode vanished when he realized the most suffocating truth, he is a nobody. He was just a normal scholarship transfer student whose parents own only a small grocery store back in his home town and Yoona, she is the heir of Candela & co, one of the best jewelry brand around the world. Simply she is rich and he is poor and that’s not how the world works.

Yoona has been avoiding him for the whole day, too embarrassed to meet him. She wasn’t sure what made her do that yesterday but she just felt it was the right thing to do that time. She did had boyfriends before and her first kiss too but nothing was as fluttering as that simple peck. Yoona walks into her dance studio clad in her tights, still giggling only to find Lay standing beside the door. He pushes himself off the wall and stands all tall in front of her and Yoona shies out, suddenly feeling small under his gaze.

“I have something to speak to you.”

“Even I have something to speak to you.” She breaths out, cursing at herself for being so flushed.

“Let me speak first. I don’t know what were you thinking when you kissed me yesterday but I think we have some misunderstanding to clear. I don’t have any feeling towards you and I think so do you. But if you were just playing around then I appreciate it if you stop doing those kind of stuff. I would even appreciate it if you stay out of my life. We don’t belong to the same world so be it. I won’t be teaching you anymore and I am sure you can find better one with your money. Then I will take my leave.” Saying that he walks out and Yoona, she just slides down the floor and lets her tears free. Lay runs to the terrace and screams out his frustration, falling down onto his knees. They both knew that they like each other but they weren’t just meant to be together.

Everyone was busy with the stuff going in their life’s and their hangout place became all gloomy. Kai was sitting there busy with his phone and BaekChen were playing a game. Chanyeol was again playing darts, and Sana, she was consoling the depressed Yoona not even knowing the reason behind her behavior. The thick atmosphere was sliced when the door opened, reveling a handsome man, clad in his Gucci suit, sharpening his figure.

“Hey there kiddos.”

“Hyung.??!!! What are you doing here.?” Kai stood up, stunned to the see the older guy.

“Why.?? Cant I visit my old school and my Dongsangs..??” he speaks out, making himself comfortable in one of the couches.

“Of course not..You can come any time you want to visit your favorite dongsangs.”

“ Hyung..when did you come..??” Baekhyun asks, surprised to see him.

“Ya you brat. Were you that busy to not even notice me..ha???”

Baekhyun’s expression changes immediately. With the corner of his lips pulled down, he shouts

“Suho hyung, I missed you” and runs to the guy sitting and wrap him into bone crushing hug. He met Suho during one of those sophisticated parties during his junior high. Kai, Sehun and Yoona already know him, since he was an alumni of Maple. He found him annoying in the beginning, because hey, he was just like a typical old guy, cracking all those dad jokes but later they simply got along since the older guy was fun to be with. And since then, he became his favorite hyung.

Every one laugh at how Suho tries to unwrap the clinging Baekhyun of him. After a million attempts, he finally let go of his beloved hyung, letting him breath.

“It’s been so long oppa. How are you..??”

“I am fine Miss Byun Sana. I actually came to invite you guys to my engagement party.”

“Wait WHAT..you got engaged hyung..??!! So you finally proposed to Jisoo Noona..??”

“Yes and you guys should come.”

“Of course we are going to come. How can we miss it??” Chanyeol smiled, happy for his hyung.

“Ok then. I see you got a new friend over there.” He says, pointing to words Chen “You should come too and you can bring all your friends. See you at the party kids.”

Baekhyun drives his Benz to his father’s company after the classes end. He parks his car in the parking lot and takes the elevator to the topmost floor which was exclusively only for the Chairman of The Elyxion group and his personal assistant. He halts in his way to take a peek and greet Mr. Ji, his father’s trustworthy PA. He opens the door only to find Mr. Ji sitting in his chair massaging his left hand with pain written all over his face. He right away called an ambulance and accompanied him to the hospital. Reaching there he got to know that Mr. Ji just had a mild heart attack. Thank god he bought him immediately otherwise things would have become complicated. Mr. Ji was the only employee he is close within the company. His father assigned him to Baek so that he would help the future heir with business. He is finally stable now and he can go back home the next day. He walks out the Mr. Ji’s hospital room to make a phone call to inform his dad when he sees a girl, walking towards him in a white dress. He couldn’t see her face because of the bright evening sun shining through the window at the end of the corridor. She walks close and that’s when his breath got taken away. She was beyond beautiful. Her small face, her long wavy hair and her tiny figure, everything screamed perfection. He snaps out when she bumps into him and starts bowing, apologizing to him.

“I am really sorry.”

“its OK.”

She takes a step forward but then turns back, asking “Sorry to bother you but can you tell me where is room no 143.”

“It’s right beside you.”

“Oh..thank you.” Saying that she walks into the room where Mr. Ji is. He trails behind, wondering who she is.

Entering the room he finds her sitting beside Mr. Ji, holding onto his hands.

“Oh there you are Young master Byun.!! Please meet my daughter Hyeran. Hyeran, this is Mr. Byun’s son, Baekhyun. He is the one who bought me to the hospital. If it wasn’t for him I don’t know what would have happened to me.”

“Oh come on Mr. Ji. Its fine.”

“Thank you so much Baekhyun-shi. My father is the only one I have. I don’t know what I will do without him. Thank you so much.” Her voice was sweet which made his heart swell, but he looks confused because she talks while looking toward the window while he was standing near the door.

Sensing his puzzlement, Mr. Ji speaks out, holding his daughters hands “I know what you are thinking young master. My daughter is blind. She lost her eyes in an accident which also took her moms life.”

He looks at Hyeran, who simply sits there fidgeting with her beautiful hands. She looks perfect, but she did have an imperfection in her. After all she is a human being too and everyone has their flaws. Her being blind doesn’t change the fact that he feel in love with her at first sight.

She walks out of the room when the visiting hours are done and Baekhyun waits outside for her all the while. He hastily stands on his feet when he sees her walking towards him. She walks slow, taking help from the wall when she suddenly hits something and drops to her side and Baekhyun takes no time to wrap his arms around her, preventing her from hitting the floor. Seeing her this close make him realize how more beautiful she is, a reason why he have to be with her.

“Are you Ok.??.”

“Ye, Gamsahabnida”

He helps her to stand on her feet but doesn’t let her go. He holds her hands and starts pulling her towards the exit.

“Let’s go. I will drop you at your home.” She loosen up when she here’s the familiar voice and calmly walks behind him. Baekhyun just smiles, glad to the trust she have on him.

So we got two new couples introduced in this chapter. Jennifer is actually a long distance friend of us whose bias is Chanyeol, so I added her in the story. To make it easy for you, I added the picture of Kim Yoo Jung because come on, she is too pretty even though she is younger than me, making me feel like a potato. And the next one is Baekhera.!! Who doesn’t love the scarlet heart couple? I ship them a lot. So, hope you like this update, see you in the next chapter.!!!
