The rest of the classes were spent fooling around, stealing glances at each other, and obviously not paying attention to the teachers. The bell rang and the lunch break came. Students started rushing out of their room, heading to the cafeteria. Sana just took her books as she made her way to her new locker. Putting her stuff in, Sana closed her locker only to meet with Kai, leaning onto the locker beside her, hands in his jean pockets, with a smirk plastered on his lips. Sana had to admit, that smirk just makes this guy look even ier.

“Want to hang out with me?” Kai spoke, snapping her out of trance.

“And why should I??” came her replies with a mischievous grin.

“Because I am The Kim and I too have my standards.” He spoke, mocking her introduction from earlier.

“So.... where are we going?”

Flipping her honey brown hair back, Sana throws a knowing smirk at Kai and walks forward, letting her heels clicking onto the marble floor.

Shaking his head, Kai kicks himself of the locker and jogs towards her. He holds onto her left wrist, before throwing another one of his signature smirks, and leaning towards her left ear to whisper

“Follow me.”

Kai dragged Sana , letting the whole corridor have their own imagination.

“Whoa…I missed this place.” Kai exclaimed as soon as they got into his hangout place. Emphasizing on the word, his.

“This is my place, no one other than my friends are allowed here. Consider yourself lucky.” Kai said before plopping down into one of the couches.

Sana glanced around her, registering the appears of the place. The cabin was classy, with a bar in one corner, indoor games and karaoke in other. The place was fully furnished, making it one awesome place to hangout.

“Yo bro, looks like we have a new addition to our group.”

Sana snapped her head to the new intruders, more likely a handsome and a beautiful one’s.

Kai stood up and came close to her, letting his right hand naturally wrap around Sana’s thin waist.

“This is Sana, Elyxion group from Japan.”

“Whoo…then she should be with us.” Sing sang the girl with her melodious voice.

“Well, welcome to the group. I am Sehun , Oh Sehun. Oh group of hospitals.” The handsome one said, extending his right hand for a handshake.

“And I am Yoona, Im Yoona. Candela & co.” said the girl, pushing sehun away and launching herself onto Sana.

Sana was taken aback, but she was more than happy to make new friends, or maybe someone, something more than that.

A week passed by, just like that. Sana’s twin, Byun Baekhyun and his best friend Park Chanyeol also became part of their group. She became so close to the three of them in a very short time. Well, let’s say she got even closer with the bronze skinned guy. The closeness between them didn’t escape from the praying eyes of the students. Kai was someone who doesn’t just befriend anyone. Sehun has been his friend since childhood and Yoona was his cousin. So seeing Kai this close with Sana just added fuel to the fire, creating new rumors. The billionaire playboy has finally found someone to settle down. It took almost a week for the rumor to fell into Kai’s ears, and he was more than fine with it.

The class was done and group was goofing around before going to their lunch break. Chanyeol was chocking Sehun while Baekhyun, Kai and Yoona were laughing their off at the poor boy. Sana was lost in her own thoughts. Of course she heard of the rumors and a tiny piece of her heart wanted it to be true. In the mere week she had known Kai, there was something about him that attracted her. She started to like him, more than a friend.

“Mhmm..Kai, have you heard of the rumors.” Sana asked, diverting Kai’s attention towards her.

“What rumors..? haa..The one that we are dating..?? Yeah I have heard. What about it.??”

Sana wanted to smack herself for asking Kai about that. She wasn’t thinking when she spoke and now, she regrets it.

“Nothing.. Just like that” she replied before making her way out of the class. She doesn’t want Kai to see how red she is of embarrassment. She started scolding herself for randomly asking something like that. She should have thought about it before. Just because she felt that he can be a good one for her doesn’t mean the latter felt the same. She aimlessly walked till she reached the middle of the school grounds. Her thoughts were interrupted when someone pulled her back, and next thing she know, a strong pair of hands were wrapped around her waist, pressing her toward a strong torso and a pair of brown eyes, staring down at her.

“Why did you just run away from me? Are you mad about something?”

“Kai , let me go.”

“Looks like you are. What is it that’s making you so mad..??”

“Kai, I said let me go.” Sana struggled against him which only made Kai wrap his hands even stronger.

“Want to go out with me..like a boy friend and girl friend..??” the sudden proposal from Kai made Sana freeze. She could just stare at him, with her big doe eyes, astonished.

“Why..Don’t want to. But that’s not what your heart says.” That made her realize how hard her heart is beating against her ribs. Her cheeks turned crimson for getting caught, red handed.

“I know from the beginning there was something special about you. When I first saw you in that party in that y scarlet dress of yours, I really got attracted to you. This week just made me realize how awesome it would be if we are together. So..Want to be my girlfriend..??”

He elaborating only made Sana blush even hard, if that’s even possible. She nodded her head, hell, where did the y Sana go.

“Then …should we go on our first date.?”

Sana just nodded her head again, which made Kai chuckle. This girl is really something.

A silver Lamborghini was standing outside an expensive hanok in Gangnam. The car door opens, reveling Kai , clad in his brand new Dormeuil all black suit, specially designed for the special day. Leaning onto his car, he glanced down onto his Rolex, waiting for his date to arrive. He bent down to take a look at the rare mirror, checking his appearance, when he heard clicking of heels. Turning back, Kai found himself face to face with his date, his girlfriend of one year, in her all glory. She was wearing a black tight dress, stopping mid thigh, matched with the platinum charm that Kai gifted her on their six mouth anniversary and Gucci black pumps. Kai throws a smirk that she love and wraps his hand around her waist, pulling her for a short kiss.

“Happy anniversary. y as always.” Kai whispers against her lips, making Sana crimson, again.

“So…shall we..??” Sana hums, getting into the car. They started dating in their first month of junior high and now, they are in sophomore year and celebrating their one year anniversary. She turns left, smiling bright at her driving boyfriend, as they go to their favorite restaurant.

It’s been almost a couple of weeks since the new school year started. Kai and his group of friends, Fab 6, as what they liked to be called, were having their hangout. They were in their parking lot, sitting and laughing at Baekhyun and Sana, the Byun twins, bickering about why they had chocolate syrup instead of caramel syrup for pancakes in the morning. These two. Hell with their images, they just care about the syrup now. Just when Sana was about to win the argument, three guys, JB, Jackson and bam bam who always give Kai about information happening around maple, came bragging into their space.

“yay, what are you people doing here.??” Kai arched his brow, starring at them.

“sumbenim, I just got to know that commoners are going to join maple high from this year.”

“What!!??” snapped Sana, completely forgetting about her caramel syrup.

“ Mr. chairman just released a statement stating that from now on, there will be an entrance exam every year and the top three students will get into maple high, with a full scholarship.”

“WHAT!!??”

“And the exam is going to be this week end and the three students for each year are going to join by the end of this month."

Kai was beyond furious. How some mere commoners set foot into maple high? And not just one but nine, three for each year.

Fetching out his phone, Kai speed dialed one and waits till he heard a voice from the opposite end.

“Young master Kim. Your grand father is in middle of an important mee---“

“I don’t care. Put him on the line, NOW”

There was brief silence for few seconds before he heard an elderly voice speak.

“What is it Jong in ?”

“Halabuji, what is this. Commoners? Seriously ? why Halabuji why?

“Calm down calm down my grandson. You want to know why, and then let me explain. Sometimes, we rich should put on a façade, acting all good to the world Jong In. This entry of few commoners will not cause any obliteration to maple, but it will make all those commoners have good intuition towards us. To simplify it for you, It’s just like that proverb Jong In, two birds in one shot but here we got so many more birds. hahahaha….it’s just a business strategy boy. You will understand it eventually. Well, I have get back to the meeting now. I am hanging up.” with that, the call went disconnected.

Kai wasn’t satisfied. Strategy or whatever bull it is, he doesn’t give a damn. A satanic smile was plastered on his lips with only one thing his mind. The commoners are sure going to go through hell.

I know that the first chapter kinda resembled boys over flowers and I admit it that I got inspiration from it.
