To enter JYP Academy, one should pass the entrance examination/audition. The professors and the headmaster himself will be the judges. Most students came on their own accord, some got casted, but nevertheless they still need to pass the said audition.

Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Jihyo were all casted during their vacation before their 1st year in high school. Jeongyeon doesn't want to audition at first, claiming that she isn't suitable to be an idol but with a few encouraging words from the two along with 'We won't audition if you're not going', she eventually agreed and gave it a try. They auditioned individually and now, they were ranked 1 to 3 in their year. Jihyo being the top 1 followed my Nayeon then Jeongyeon.

For the Japanese trio, when JYP Academy held an audition in Japan, Momo auditioned along with her sister but she was the only one who got accepted. Sana was casted while buying a gift for her friend. Momo and Sana were the only one who passed the audition. The first time they met was on the airport and they instantly clicked and become best of friends. They were on their 3rd year in high school that time.

Mina was also casted on the streets. She really admire idols and even made cover dances with her friends, so getting casted was a dream come true for her but she's also doing ballet for 11 years that time. She had a hard time choosing between the two so she decided to leave it to her fate. If she passed the audition, she will quit ballet and fly to Korea but if she doesn’t, it only means that being an idol wasn't for her. In the end, she passed and went to study in JYP Academy in her first year in college.

She became roommates with her fellow Japanese students, although she had a completely opposite personality with Momo and Sana, they all become best friends, even promising each other that they will debut together. In the present, Sana, Mina and Momo were ranked 1, 2 and 3, respectively.

Momo's phone rang and she immediately answered it.

"Now?

No, I'm not doing anything.

It's alright, stay there. I'll be there in 10 minutes.

See you." Momo grins widely after ending the phone call and look at her roommates whose frowning at her.

"What?" Momo asked still grinning.

"I thought you already broke up with Minyoung?" Sana asked.

"I do and it's not her."

"You already have found another one? It's not even a week since you broke up with her. You're really something." Mina said chuckling.

"What can I do? They were the one who's throwing their selves at me and I really don't have the heart to reject them you know?" Sana throws a pillow at Momo but she managed to avoid it and laugh.

"Whatever, just get out of here already and go to your girlfriend." Sana
