We all were different from each other. But there was always something about Kim Taehyung that had always caught my eye. It was like he never got to have a childhood and that's why he was always acting like a child around us. He always was acting like a child trying to be adorable and make us laugh. It worked most of the time. At least for me it did.

At first I thought that he just was like that. But then I learned the truth of the situation. As a child his father was abusive and his mother was never around. When she was she was always trying to hide him from seeing his father hitting her. She tried to protect him as much as possible. Eventually he went to live with his grandmother. But the pain didn't end for him after that. 

After he had turned 16 he would return home to see his mom. But now when his father came home he wouldn't hide. Instead he would stand in front of his mother and try to protect her from him. I still remember the first time I had seen one of his scars from his father. He told me that he had gotten it from falling down the stairs but now I knew that that was a lie.

He never told me all of this. I had to find out on my own. I began to piece things together after a while. His abusive father, tortured mother, grandmother, his never ending want for a real childhood.
