Taehyung walked out of his classroom with a smile. He had gotten a B- on his last quiz and that was a huge improvement from the D- he had had on the first quiz.

Relishing in his accomplishment, he failed to notice Jungkook creep up on him and tackle him from behind.

He groaned as he felt something heavy collide with his back, but he quickly grabbed a pair of thighs and hoisted them up.

“Hyung!”

“Hey Kookie.”

“How was class?” Jungkook’s voice shouted in his left ear, his hair tickling Taehyung’s nape.

Taehyung shifted. “It was great. I got a B- on my quiz.”

“Wow congrats hyung!” Jungkook’s hold grew tighter on his neck. “We have to celebrate. Let's buy some drinks and play some Mario Kart!”

Taehyung grinned. “Okay!”

“As a reward you get to carry me like this to the store.”

“How's that a reward?”

Jungkook chuckled and for a brief moment Taehyung thought he felt lips on his earlobe.

He recalled Jimin and his happiness faltered. He would have liked to celebrate with Jimin, but he had been so moody and distant lately. He seemed convinced something was up with Jungkook.

Jungkook’ fine though. Taehyung thought.

He was more playful than ever, in fact.

He really hoped Jimin came around.

They played several rounds of Mario Kart and accumulated more than twice the number of shots. Jungkook feeling salty after losing a round shoved Taehyung and Taehyung retaliated.

They shoved then tickled and soon the two were drunk wrestling. Jungkook got the advantage and straddled the older man pinning his arms over his head.

“You’re so handsome hyung.”

Taehyung’s gasps of laughter came to a halt.

“Uh...thanks?”

Jungkook bent over and kissed his cheek.

Taehyung squirmed, aware of the hold on his arms tightening.

“Jungkook this isn’t…”

Jungkook smiled and kissed him again, this time in the mouth. Taehyung wriggled, fear beginning to envelop him.

Jungkook pulled away just as a gasp was heard. Taehyung turned and saw Jimin in the doorway.

His eyes round with hurt and tears.

“Jimin!”

Jimin glared at him then stormed out the door thundering shut.

Taehyung pulled his arms away, regaining them. He then shoved Jungkook.

“Jungkook!”

Jungkook glared down at him and wrapped his hands on Taehyung’s throat.

Taehyung gasped in shock and tried to hit him.

The boy continued to choke him, unfazed by the blows.

“I’m not Jungkook.”

Taehyung’s vision grew hazy and he caught the sight of soulless black eyes burning at him before he faded into darkness.
