Dear Minhyun,

Today I met up with Seongwoo, my first love. Do you remember the day I told you about him?
We had been dating for about a month and I was really insecure about your feelings towards me. 
So, I told you why. You didn't seem angry at the time, but later on you revealed you hated that Seongwoo for hurting me.
That made me really happy.

It's been a year since I last saw Seongwoo. We went out for lunch and he came over to my house.
It felt weird. I was once so used to having him over all the time, then it felt weird not having him around, but I eventually got used to not seeing him.
Now that I talk to him again, it feels weird to have him around.

Things were actually really normal between us. It made me realize that I need time away from you before we can start over. 
I guess the sooner I let go, the sooner you can come back in my life.

I don't want to have to wait another year to talk to you again.

It's cliche, but I guess the saying, "If you love someone, let them go. If they come back, they're yours", is true.
