“Kyungsoo, why did you break up with her?”
“Who?”
“You know exactly who I’m talking about,” Jongin said, knowing that Kyungsoo hadn’t really had a girlfriend since then.
Kyungsoo sighed, leaning back in his chair, “I’ll tell you one day.”
“Why not today?”
“Today’s not the right day yet.” That sounded suspiciously like Chaeyeon’s words, but Kyungsoo ignored anything else on the topic.
Chaeyeon had been out for today, but they were still over at her place, the same way they always were on Friday nights. She had promised that she would be back in half an hour and they could go out if they wanted.
“What did you want to do?” Kyungsoo played with his phone.
“I don’t know. What did you want to do?”
The two of the looked at each other, made a noise from the back of their throat, and turned back to their phones. When Chaeyeon rescued them from their boredom exactly twenty-four minutes later, she looked completely amused.
“Horror movie?” Kyungsoo went through the list of options.
“No way,” Chaeyeon shuddered, and Jongin agreed. When they watched horror movies, it was more for Kyungsoo’s enjoyment because he laughed at how scared Jongin and Chaeyeon got and how loud they screamed.
