Jongin was exhausted. Teaching dance classes at a nearby studio wasn't so bad, but the hours were. In order to get free space and to start coming up with the choreography to Chanyeol's and Tao's music samples, he had to work late into the night and lose sleep. But they were all making sacrifices, so he couldn't complain.
He opened the door to the apartment quietly in order to not disturb Chaeyeon. The lights were off and she was probably asleep. He padded to the bathroom, ditched his clothing for the shower, and tried to clean off all the sweat. He stayed under the showerhead a little longer than necessary, mainly because of the mood amongst the three of them after being rejected.
Chaeyeon had taken it out on herself the hardest.
He turned off the water and rubbed himself with a towel. Even though he was hungry, he was much more tired than anything else, and his muscles were begging him for the feel of the mattress. But when he stepped out of the bathroom in a pair of shorts and an oversized t-shirt, he heard quiet sobs.
