Well, being a full-time innocent angel on a daily basis, I only had a tiny devil on my shoulder which most of the time tried to convince me that killing my dearest girlfriend, Kim Jisoo, would be a good idea and let me tell you, she was very persuasive, especially when Jisoo’s 4D, completely out of this orbit personality did nothing but help her in convincing me to do so. Being absolutely in love with Jisoo, I chose a much lighter option on how to react when certain things she does fire up the inner evil spirit I have, which was a groan, followed by an eyeroll and then constant ignoring until she came back to her senses. There are times however, when I completely give up, so eventually she – the other Jennie Kim who is absolutely struggling with the hot mess her girlfriend is – takes over and goes on full attack mode towards Jisoo, killing her, softly, with kisses and hugs, because she’s adorable and gorgeous and funny and at the end of the day no matter which one of the Jennie Kim-s I am, I still love her too much. You see, Jennie was mesmerized when she saw Jisoo for the first time, blown-away, heart break and stomach butterflies, slow-mow movements as the golden hour of the day aligned the features of what seemed to be an ethereal creature. All the cheesy things in a rom-com seemed to wrap around Jennie’s existence, making her warm and fuzzy each time Jisoo laughed. II: DIY dates Jennie likes those things, handmade and heartfelt activities that consist of pouring out emotions without actually having to go through the cringy process of talking things out. That’s the pretentious explanation. On a more realistic note, she just likes DIY dates because they’re fun and what’s better than doing fun things with someone you love?! Well, first of all, in the worst case, this person can reject said date or laugh it away as if it’s a joke. Thankfully this wasn’t the case with her lovely girlfriend, who even though ended up being quite useless at DIY projects, was always excited when a new idea was brought up in a conversation. What got on Jennie’s nerves the most wasn’t the lack of assistance her self-proclaimed assistant gave. Not even the weird DIY gifts she prepared, like the messy phone case that looked like it was made by a three year old hyperactive child, which Jennie grew to cherish and adore, ghosting a smile each time she looked at it, the little piece of art she started to believe belonged in the Louvre and not in her hands. Not even those special occasions when Jisoo went full pro mode and did things better than Jennie, like when she got a handle on personalized jewellery making and for the first time ever actually assisted Jennie on making gifts for their friends, as well as promise rings for each other. That’s actually something Jennie was proud of, considering how impatient Jisoo is. What irritates her during these dates however, are the casual, unnecessary jokes that Jisoo makes out of boredom, in between her loud singing of course. This always made Jennie’s focus shift and her head a mess, resulting like this a bigger mess being made with the project. Let’s see for example, being a slime enthusiast that she was, Jennie felt that making slime from zero would be such a great experience. It started with excitement and confidence.
