The struggles of meeting her friends

The struggles of Kim Jisoo

Everyone talks and talks and talks (and honestly they never shut up) about how nerve wrecking it is to meet your lover’s parents for the first time. It kind of is, but honestly, you’re also quite prepared for it. You bring flowers and maybe a bottle of wine and you put on a nice outfit. You compliment her mother about the food and try to have a small talk about politics and the country’s economy with her father. You pretend you have most of your life figured out and throw in some random quote you’ve read somewhere so you seem too smart for your age. It’s easy with the parents, but meeting her friends? I wonder how nobody ever talks about this. Am I the only one who would rather jump off of a bridge than go through with this meeting? You’re laughing, right? Because, what could possibly go wrong when meeting a bunch of other kids? A lot of things. So let me introduce you: The struggles of meeting her best friends for the first time. (Her awesome and too cool for this world best friends) No.1: Honestly I should just wear a blanket. You remember stalking your lover's blog when she was just your crush and you certainly remember her friends, the most fascinating people you had ever seen. It was catching up to you, the nervousness and the idea of being slightly out of place, slightly not good enough, slightly not cool enough to be introduced to these people as Jennie's girlfriend. “You’re going through that phase again,” she chuckles from the other side of the phone and you are about to yell at her, but she’s got such a lovely face that you regret facetiming because all you want to do is plaster kisses all over her rose tinted cheeks. “I’m not going through any phase Jennie. I’m just, you know, trying to find the other sock,” you mumble as you’re ten feet deep in your closet looking through clothes because honestly, what the to wear? “What’s it going to be this time? A beanie?” she chuckles again. “Not helping babe,” you drag your words annoyingly as you pick up a floral dress. “Did you search your brother’s closet though?” She asks and you stop, half of you actually thinking that that’s a good option. “I’m freaking joking Jisoo, don’t do that!” she adds quickly as she notices you considering the idea. She wants to laugh and you do to. “It’s just my friends, babe. They’ll like you however you look.” Yeah, right. As if. No. 1.5: The conclusion of wearing, well, something other than a blanket. “Are you serious?” “What?” “Honestly, did you ever date me so you could get with my friends? You didn’t put this much effort when we went on our first date, but today you’re leaking expensive fragrance and your eyeliner is straighter than me.” “Oh, get over yourself. Everything is straighter than you. Plus, if I wanted any of your friends I would have totally gotten them while ignoring you in the process. Now shut up and tell me I look good so I don’t stress out.” “You definitely look better than your personality,” she chuckles and you slap her shoulder lightly. “Relax,” she then smiles, intertwining her fingers with yours. “They’re good people. Rosé even goes to church,” she dramatically says and you laugh. “Plus, they’re head over heels for each other even though they won’t admit it. They will probably be too busy bickering over nothing to even pay attention to us,” she rolls her eyes and then gives your hand a little squeeze. “It’s going to be like we’re all alone together.” “Again, that’s not really helping.” “It’s you and I, babe. You and I against my crazy friends. We’ll be alright.” "Not help-" she kisses you out of nowhere. You think that that's maybe a bit helpful. Well, to hell with everything, you’ve got her and nothing can go wrong. No.2: Nevermind, it all went wrong. “And those dorks in the back are my friends,” she mumbled, something between embarrassed and annoyed tinted in her heartbreaker voice. “Ugh, can’t they ing be normal for once?” she groaned, her arm which was hanging loosely on your waist now gripping tighter, pulling closer. “Babe, you’re too much of a weirdo yourself,” you say lightly, as if everything is going smoothly, but then you move your attention from her to her friends. You shot a curious look and you are met with a redhead who is basically making faces to the French fries in front of her and another girl who’s all over the couch like on octopus, giving every sentence she spoke a hiphop vibe. It looked cool from afar, the scene. It was almost movie like, with their unique clothes and out of place behavior, with their loud laughs and obnoxious talking. You’d wish to be part of that. It got cuter as you approached and you swear you heard Jennie curse under her breath. “That’s it, I’m going h

Chapter 1: For some reason, I can't see Jisoo as a Femme😅😅...
Yes she is absolutely adorable, and FY Jisoo is the epitome of what a femme looks like....
But anything else? Attitude, her comfort?, style? 😂 Idk. Good read thou. Love your wording.
