Anastasia walks into the NH Media building with a confident step. She keeps a blank expression as she walks up to the lady at the front desk.

            “Annyeong haseyo, Unnie! I’m here to see the President. Is he ready to see me?” she asks, looking at the lady.    

            “Annyeong! Early as usual. He just finished his last appointment. Go ahead, Anastasia~!” the lady smiles.

            Anastasia bows slightly and walks down the hall to the President’s room. This is it, Yoo Sawng. He is going to say you are going to debut. I just know it!

            The President opens the door before Anastasia can even knock. He smiles and bows slightly, motioning for the tall girl to walk in.

            “Annyeong haseyo, President-nim!” Anastasia bows, entering the small office.

            “Annyeong haseyo. I knew you’d be early. I have good news…and bad news.”

            Anastasia kept a ‘poker face’ and takes a seat in the comfy chair infront of the President’s desk. He takes a seat in his own chair and leans forward, observing the girl.

            “Good…and bad news?” she stares at him, nervous.

            “Bad news, first. The bad news is your trainer, Jenny, said you weigh around 140 pounds, right? We need you to go on another diet. You are skinny, but that isn’t a great weight for a 19-year-old girl,” he tells her. Her eyes widen. She couldn’t believe he was saying she was fat or overweight. Was he serious? Another diet? Fine, fine. She’d go on another diet. Now, what was the good news he had?

            As if on cue, he continues, “As for the good news, you will be debuting next year. A meeting will be held here tomorrow. 11 a.m. I am sure you will be early as usual. Be prepared. You will meet your members tomorrow as well.”    

            Anastasia smiles wide and stands up, bowing, “Kamsahamnida (Thank you)! Kamsahamnida! This is amazing!”

            “Yes, yes it is. Now, run along. You have a big day tomorrow!”

            Anastasia bows once more before leaving his office. She heads for the exit and pulls out her phone, texting her Umma the news. Tomorrow she would meet her members and decide on her position in the new group and so many other things. How exciting!
