“A fracture? Vizio! You have to be more careful! Debut is in a week! What are you going to do now? You are going to have to deal with the pain and go on,” JunSeong scolds the girl as she sits on the couch in Lilac’s dorm. The other girls are standing behind the couch, looking down, not meeting JunSeong’s harsh glare. He is right, after all. Their debut is in a week and Vizio is just going to have to deal with the pain and try not to use her hand as much.

            “I’m sorry, Manager-ssi,” Vizio mutters, staring at her wrist that is now in a white brace. The doctor said that the brace would do just as good as a cast, except it takes less effort.

            “I’m leaving first. I’ll go talk to the President about this. From now on, Vizio, no leaving the dorm unless it is for schedules,” JunSeong tells her, still using his harsh voice and glaring at her. Vizio doesn’t look up; instead she just nods her head. The girls look at JunSeong and he takes a deep breath, passing by them and leaving the dorm.

            “Unnie, are you okay?” Bae Kyon asks Vizio, sitting beside her as worry covers her face. Bae Kyon had been in her room reading when Vizio snuck out earlier this morning. She fell asleep soon after that and didn’t wake up until JunSeong called her on her cellphone asking why Vizio and S.Me weren’t answering their phones; S.Me was playing video games in the living room and Vizio…she had no idea where Vizio was at.

            “I’m okay,” Vizio tells her, nodding. Vizio is actually okay, but JunSeong lashing out on her really shocked her. He never gets onto the girls really bad, but this time…for something so small, he really got onto her.

            “So, how did the show go?” S.Me asks Chaerin, Yoo Sawng, and EunMi. The girls then direct their attention to the girl who is standing by EunMi; she is wearing a cape, which makes the girls give her a weird look.

            “It went well,” Yoo Sawng answers her question, staring at the red object on S.Me’s back. S.Me is also clutching her stuffed Domo. “Although, the host was a little…peculiar.”

            “Oh,” is all S.Me mutters before turning and going to sit in front of the TV, turning her gaming system on. Chaerin walks over and sits by her, grabbing a controller and waiting for S.Me to put the game in. Yoo Sawng continues to watch S.Me, wondering why the girl has a cape on her back. She’ll probably never know.

            “Yoo Sawng unnie,” EunMi breaks Yoo Sawng’s staring at S.Me’s cape, directing her attention to EunMi herself. “Can we talk? In the other room.”

            “Yeah, sure.” Yoo Sawng follows EunMi into EunMi and S.Me’s room. Once they reach the room, EunMi pulls her phone out and looks at it, frowning. She isn’t sure she should go ahead and send the message to Chaerin. She had told Chaerin in the car that she had something to show her, but lied and said her phone was dead, so once it charged, she’d show her.

            “Are you going to send it?” Yoo Sawng asks her, looking at her. “Maybe Eunkyo should just call her or something.”

            “Eunkyo and Chaerin aren’t even talking; they are best friends!”

            “I know that. I can always just tell her…nicely.”

            “Maybe she won’t freak out. Besides…she says she doesn’t like him. She’s tried proving that to me since we met him…something deep down tells me I shouldn’t believe her though.”

            “Let’s just wait until tomorrow. Today’s been crazy anyways.”

            EunMi just nods and sets her phone on her bed, grabbing the charger cord and plugging it into her phone. She and Yoo Sawng walk back into the living room to see how Vizio is.

            When dinner comes around, the girls sit at the dining room table and eat quietly, not sure what to discuss. Vizio has been quiet since she returned home, wondering why this all had to happen. Yoo Sawng eats her food, questioning her and EunMi’s plan; EunMi thinks about calling Eunkyo – possibly interrogating her about some things. Chaerin, oblivious to everything still, sits and eats, wondering about debut – S.Me thinks about debut also. Bae Kyon, on the other hand, has something on her mind: the kiss.

            “So,” EunMi tries to break the silent atmosphere. “Bae Kyonnie’s birthday is coming up.”

            “I kissed Jeongmin!” Bae Kyon shouts. She was in her dream world, questioning everything and the kiss when she heard her name, assuming she was being called out for something. Mindlessly, she shouted that out. Bae Kyon covers and blushes, realizing what she just said.

            As soon as she said that, Vizio, Yoo Sawng, and S.Me all choke on their food and EunMi’s mouth drops open. Chaerin is the only one who isn’t shocked, because she witnessed it. Chaerin giggles and goes back to eating.

            “You kissed Jeongmin?” EunMi asks, eyes going wide. “When?”

            “It was an accident! I tripped…I wasn’t paying attention to my feet…I didn’t-“ Bae Kyon’s face continues to turn redder as she speaks, remembering the event. “It was an accident!”

            “How did he react?” S.Me asks, grinning at Bae Kyon and nudging her. Bae Kyon looks at her, shocked. Bae Kyon thought maybe – just maybe – the girls would be mad or upset or-

            “Do you like him?” Yoo Sawng asks the question on everyone’s mind. Bae Kyon’s eyes go wide as she shakes her head. The girls go back to eating as Bae Kyon explains exactly what happened, causing a few of them to chuckle.

            “We still need to look up all of the teasers,” Chaerin speaks up, setting her chopsticks beside her bowl.

            “What teasers?” S.Me asks. “I thought there was just one.”

            “Each one of us has a ten or fifteen second teaser of ourselves…starting with Chaerin and ending with Vizio unnie,” Yoo Sawng explains.

            “I wanna see,” Bae Kyon grins, mouth filled with food.

            “Swallow or you will choke!” Yoo Sawng tells her.

            “Wah~” Chaerin says, staring at her teaser video. Hers is fourteen seconds; the first few seconds, the screen quickly changing from her single dance scene to her posing in the box in her glamor outfit. The last few seconds is he standing still, posing in their photoshoot – “The Bad Kitten” appearing in graphic form at her feet.

            Next is Bae Kyon. Hers starts off with her in the box, giving a charismatic gaze towards the camera and then looking away – “The Goddess” appearing beside her head. In the last few seconds, it shows her singing one of the high notes of the song and it fades out.

            Next is EunMi. Hers starts off with her singing her part in the song, and then moving to her posing in the box; it shows different angels of her and then ends with her in the  lighted room, smirking and her title appearing above her head: “Tomboy Ice Princess”.

            Up next is S.Me: her small part showing her rapping, posing cutely in the box, and it fading to just an image of her face and her title – “Sweet Challenger” – appearing beneath her. S.Me is content with her teaser, smiling at it. Vizio approvingly pats her shoulder with her unhurt hand.

            The next teaser consists of Yoo Sawng. It starts out with hers doing like Chaerin’s, starting off with a small part with her posing in the box and quickly changing to her in the black room, rapping. It shows a small clip of her dancing, too. In the middle, it pauses for a brief second to reveal her title, “Gentle Loner”, and continues onto her dancing. It ends with her expressionless face turning to look at the camera.

            The last teaser is of Vizio. It starts off with her blowing glitter towards the camera whilst in the box; her title, “The Multipersonality Wannabe”, appearing. Suddenly the screen starts flashing black and white and then she appears, singing her high note and part of the chorus; it ends with her in the white room, snapping her fingers and the screen goes black.

            “We all looked so pretty!” Bae Kyon coos, smiling at the laptop screen. Indeed, the girls looked beautiful. In their minds, each girl is proud of the persona name they chose for themselves; they got to choose their personas – that being the only decision they got to make themselves. Aside the fact that they got a say in their positions beforehand.

                The girls become even more curious about their own music video with these teasers. Yes, they have seen the clips after having to review them and critique their performances for the music video itself, but they haven’t actually seen the video. Each girl knew in their mind that one girl of the group would get more airtime than the others. That always happens in every group, more so with girl groups.

            “Hey, Rinnie,” EunMi looks at the girl beside her. “Can I borrow your laptop for a minute? Mine’s dead…”

            “Sure,” Chaerin nods, handing over the laptop. The other girls, besides Yoo Sawng and Chaerin, stay there. After grabbing the laptop, EunMi and Yoo Sawng go to EunMi and S.Me’s room to check something out.

            “She forgets that I know the password to her account on here, so we won’t be using the guest account,” EunMi tells Yoo Sawng, grinning and logging into Chaerin’s account. Success.

            “So, what are you doing exactly?” Yoo Sawng asks her, scooting closer to EunMi on her bed. EunMi logs onto Facebook, logging into her own account before searching for Sungmin.

            “Chaerin only checks her Facebook once a month…I’m sure he’ll have something on his page. I just know it!” EunMi says more to herself than Yoo Sawng. She clicks on Sungmin’s name and his page loads.

            Yoo Sawng and EunMi’s eyes glance down to the information to see what information lies there; in fact, some does. Both girls gasp at this and EunMi quickly loads the page of the name she sees.

            “His girlfriend…” EunMi begins.

            “Is our rival,” Yoo Sawng finishes. Both girls exchange looks and stare at the girls page, frowning. Sungmin has a girlfriend. And she is the rival of Lilac. How? When? How did this happen…especially how did Sungmin decided to start dating their rival – of all people?

            “Whose girlfriend is our rival?” S.Me asks, walking into her room to see the girls staring at the laptop. The girls look up, shocked, but are relieved that it isn’t Chaerin.

            “If we explain, promise not to tell Chaerin?” Yoo Sawng asks her. S.Me grins evilly, knowing she is about to be entrusted with a secret. She nods happily, shutting her bedroom door behind her. She sits on the bed beside the other two and wait for them to explain.
