“Um…here,” Sungmin says, handing Chaerin the phone. “I think I better go. See you later, Rinnie.”

          Sungmin walks out from her bedroom and heads for the living room to make Eunkyo go home with him. Chaerin just stands there for a minute, processing everything. She then quickly runs after him.

          “Yah! Choi Sungmin! Wait!” she calls after him.

          When she reaches the living room, Eunkyo is standing up. Everyone looks at Chaerin, who was yelling after Sungmin. She just turns to Sungmin, who is standing near the TV, waiting on Eunkyo.  

          “You’re leaving?” she asks him. He just nods.

          “What? Why?”

          “I think we need to go, that’s all.”

          Chaerin just looks at Eunkyo who shrugs and walks past her. Sungmin follows and they say goodbye to the girls – more Eunkyo than Sungmin – and head for the door.

          “Will you two come over again?” Chaerin asks, following the two to the door so they can put their shoes on – well, so Eunkyo can. Sungmin is still wearing his converse.

          “If Lilac isn’t busy, Chaerin-ah. It’s okay. It isn’t like you won’t see us ever again,” Eunkyo chuckles. She hugs the younger girl. “I’ll text you, ok?”

          “A-Alright,” Chaerin says and looks at Sungmin, who is just standing there looking at his converse. “Oppa?”

          He looks at her. Eunkyo finishes putting her shoes on and ignores the two. He just looks at Chaerin.

          “You’ll visit, too, right?” Chaerin asks. Even though it gets awkward when he visits, she still likes having him around. He feels the same. But after reading that text, what should he say? He thinks Chaerin and Jeongmin have something and that’s why Chaerin doesn’t return his feelings.

          “Like Eunkyo noona said, ‘if Lilac isn’t busy’.”

          Chaerin just stands there speechless. She knew that text message just made the awkwardness worse. Eunkyo stands up after tying her shoes. She smiles at Chaerin, patting her shoulder. Sungmin opens the door, not looking back, and leaves.

          “Is everything alright between you two?” Eunkyo asks her.

          Chaerin just looks at the girl and chokes out, “Why wouldn’t everything be?”

          Eunkyo just nods and leaves, shutting the door behind her. Chaerin honestly did not get what is going on. Why is Sungmin so cold now? Because of Jeongmin? There isn’t anything going on between her and Jeongmin. Then again, maybe Chaerin is imagining everything, right? Sungmin would only act this way if he liked her…and he doesn’t. So, she’s imagining everything. That’s what she tells herself.

          Chaerin walks back into the living room to see the girls. She sits down, staring at her phone. She rereads the text message.

          “Is everything okay?” EunMi asks, looking at her best friend.

          “Yes?” Chaerin responds. “It’s just…I got a weird text.”

          “From who?” Yoo Sawng asks, putting her book down. “What did it say?”

          Chaerin looks at Bae Kyon, “From the guy who has been flirting with her all night.”

          Everyone looks at Bae Kyon. She just looks at Chaerin, confused. All she knows is that Jeongmin was going to ask Chaerin for a group date. Is that not what he texted her?

          “What?” she asks innocently.

          “Jeongmin texted her,” EunMi says as a matter-of-factly.

          Bae Kyon nods, “He said he was. What did he say?”

          “You knew he was going to text me?” Chaerin asks, shocked.

          “What did he say?” Bae Kyon asks, repeating her previous question.

          Chaerin looks down at her phone and  reads the text, “’Chaerinnie, do you want to go out with me this next Saturday? Love, Jeongmin.’”

          Bae Kyon’s eyes widen. That isn’t what he said to me… She just looks down at her hands and back up. What was she supposed to say now? She knew he was going to text Chaerin…but not text her that.

          “Are you going to go out with him?” S.Me asks, reading over Chaerin’s shoulder.

          “Of course not! I don’t like him!” Chaerin shouts unnecessarily. “I thought he liked Bae Kyon anyways. What happened to that?”

          “Let me have the phone,” Yoo Sawng says.

          “What are you going to do?” Vizio asks before Chaerin can.

          “I’m going to text him back,” Yoo Sawng replies, reaching for the phone. Chaerin leans forward and hands her phone to Yoo Sawng, slightly confused but curious as to what Yoo Sawng is going to text him.

          “What are you going to say?” It was Chaerin who spoke this time. She trusts Yoo Sawng to do the right thing, but she doesn’t want this to all end up crazy.

          “I’m going to ask why the sudden question about asking you out,” she says. “Bae Kyon-ah, if he told you this, why didn’t you speak up?”

          “He…he didn’t say he was going to text her exactly like that,” Bae Kyon says,          frowning. “He said that us four were going to go on a date.”

          “Us four?” Chaerin repeats like a bird.

          “You. Me. Jeongmin oppa,” Bae Kyon thinks a second to remember exactly who else he said. “Oh! And Minwoo-ssi.”

          “Minwoo hyung?” S.Me asks.

          “You gotta stop calling older boys ‘hyung’,” Bae Kyon says to the girl. “Unnie, it is just weird!”

          “So? Being weird is cool! Besides, calling older boys ‘oppa’ is just weird.”

          “How so?”

          “It just is!” S.Me says, sticking her tongue out at the girl and putting her hands up by the sides of her head and wiggling her fingers.

          Vizio starts laughing. EunMi just sits there thinking about the situation and a possible way to get Jeongmin back. A sudden thought pops into her head.

          “Chaerin-ah,” EunMi says, looking at her best friend, “did Sungmin oppa read that text?”

          Chaerin looks at her and nods. “Yeah. Why?”

          EunMi facepalms and leans back against the couch. Chaerin just blinks and looks at the other girls. What is up with EunMi?

          EunMi noticed how Sungmin was acting when he walked back from Chaerin’s room. She knew something was up.

          Chaerin’s phone beeps, signaling a new text. Yoo Sawng reads it and shakes her head, quickly texting the person back. Vizio looks over the girls shoulder to read the text. Her eyes widen and she looks at Chaerin.

          “I’m going to bed,” Chaerin stands up. “This is getting ridiculous. Jeongmin is being a jerk. Bae Kyon unnie is confused and probably pissed how Jeongmin is being an . EunMi unnie is confusing me. S.Me unnie  is just being weird as usual. Vizio unnie looks worried and Yoo Sawng unnie looks like she could murder someone. If anyone needs me, I’ll be lying down.”

          Before anyone can say anything, Chaerin walks to her room.

          “I honestly am confused,” Bae Kyon admits.

          “Don’t be,” EunMi speaks up. “Jeongmin is an . Chaerin-ah is right.”

          “Stop saying bad words!” Vizio says loudly. “You are young and innocent. Chaerinnie is young and innocent. No bad words! Damn!”

          Everyone looks at Vizio, who is frowning and messing with the strap of her overalls.

          “GET UP EVERYONE! TODAY’S THE DAY! UP!” Vizio screams at the top of her lungs to the girls. She is standing at the end of the hall clapping her hands to get everyone up.

          “Unnie! You’re going to ruin your vocals if you keepyelling like that!” S.Me tells the girl, passing by her. Vizio and S.Me woke up early – around 4 a.m. – to fix some breakfast for the girls. Today is going to be one of the busiest days they’ve had in awhile.

          “I wonder if Chaerin and Bae Kyon are in a happier mood,” Vizio asks, turning to the girl who is now eating some of her rice.

          “It has been two weeks. Bae Kyon seriously hates guys now,” S.Me says. “Chaerin-ah is just…I think she is more worried about Sungmin. I seriously think she likes him.”

         “Who likes who?” Yoo Sawng asks, walking into the kitchen with the two other girls. “Good morning!”

          “You know who,” S.Me says to her. “Good morning to you, Unnie. Did you sleep well?”

          “No way! My head was killing me all night so I couldn’t sleep well,” Yoo Sawng says, grabbing a glass of milk off of the countertop.

          “Sorry,” Vizio says, smiling slightly at the girl. “But today you can’t slack off. We have the music video recording.”

          “Ahjussi should be here soon,” S.Me says to the girls with a mouthful of rice.

          “JunSeong oppa?” Yoo Sawng asks.

          “Why do you keep calling him ‘ahjussi’?” Vizio asks S.Me. “He’s not that old. Leeteuk sunbaenim is older than JunSeong oppa!”

          “Leeteuk sunbaenim is an harabuji then,” S.Me chuckles, almost choking on her rice.

          “Morning,” says Bae Kyon, rubbing her eyes. “What time do we leave to go get our new hair and makeup?”

          “Around 7. JunSeong oppa should be here soon,” S.Me answers, stressing the ‘JunSeong oppa’ and looking at Vizio and Yoo Sawng. “I can say ‘JunSeong oppa’. See?”

          “Good puppy~” Vizio coos, grinning and patting S.Me on the head.

          “Where’s the grumpy kitten? Asleep?” Yoo Sawng asks Bae Kyon, setting her glass down.

          “She stayed up late last night writing in her diary again,” Bae Kyon says. “I’ll go get her up if you want.”

          There is  a knock on the door.

          “You better go do it. Wake up EunMi while you are at it! JunSeong oppa is here!” Yoo Sawng tells her, shooing her away. She runs down the hall to get changed.

          Vizio walk to the door and lets JunSeong in, telling him, “Everyone is just now getting up. We’ll hurry.”

          “Palli, palli~” he says, shutting the door behind him and leaning against it. “I’ll stay here if everyone is getting dressed.”

          “Good, because I don’t think anyone wants you to see them undressed,” Vizio says. When she turns around she does a mental facepalm and shakes her head. Idiot. You are such an idiot. Stop being erted!

          JunSeong chuckles. S.Me puts her dishes in the sink and grabs her iPod, walking to see JunSeong.

          “Annyeong haseyo!” she bows to her manager. “Did you sleep well?”

          “Very well,” he tells the girl. She just smiles and nods, putting her earbuds in and turning her iPod on.

          “I’m nervous. What if they cut all my hair off?” EunMi asks. “I may be a tomboy, but my long hair is what I love!”

          “I already know what they are doing to mine. JunSeong oppa told me,” Chaerin says, yawning.

         “As long as I don’t go blonde, I’ll be good,” Yoo Sawng says, chuckling afterwards.

          “No need to worry! You six will look great afterwards. Don’t worry about the makeover! Worry about the music video!” JunSeong says to the girls, pulling into employee parking and stopping the van. “We’re here!”

A/N: Sorry I’m not replying to the comments. My computer is being weird and mean and my mouse pad thingy isn’t working right. During the whole time I am typing, it somehow clicks the exit button and threatens to delete my fanfic. How weird?! I’m not even kidding…it does that! >__<  My stupid computer.
