On Tuesday the camera crew arrived on time, setting up camera around the dorm and filming the girls for a bit. They filmed them learning their lines to the English song, Vizio and S.Me not even trying for the first two hours, but managing to practice after the fourth hour.

            Wednesday finally arrives; the girls are up at dawn, eating breakfast, taking showers and whatnot. Vizio sits at the dining room table, stirring her ramen around in the bowl, mumbling incoherent things to herself. S.Me drags her feet to the couch, sitting down and yawning. She just finished her shower and her hair is still sopping wet, but she doesn’t care – they have to go get their makeup and hair done for the photoshoot anyways.

            “This girl tweeted me and said good luck on our debut! She says she’s been a fan since she heard about us! Isn’t that awesome?” EunMi asks, holding her phone up in the air and smiling wide. She has been up for hours tweeting.

            “Selca time!” Chaerin runs out of the bathroom, hopping on EunMi’s back, nearly knocking the girl down. Chaerin, after all, is three inches taller than her.

            “Yah!” EunMi yells, frowning. “That hurt! You kneed me in my back!”

            “Sorry!” Chaerin laughs, getting off of EunMi’s back. “But, let’s take a selca!”

            “Take one by yourself,” EunMi says, shaking her head.

            “Together! Please! I’ll do ae-“

            “Fine!”

            “I want in on it!” S.Me says, standing up and walking over to the two girls. The girls pose together, smiling. The second picture consists of S.Me and Chaerin doing aegyo poses while EunMi makes a gagging face.

            “Your hair is a mess!” Yoo Sawng tells S.Me, walking past the three so she can get to her shoes. “We have to meet JunSeong oppa downstairs.”

            “Photoshoot! We’re off to the photoshoot!” S.Me and Chaerin sing together, running to the door.

            Once the girls got out of the van, they bowed to the camera and smiled (Chaerin, EunMi, and Yoo Sawng all wave as well). They walk into the building and head to the salon to get their hair and makeup done for the first pictures. They are going to do their first set of pictures with a black backdrop and their dance routine outfits (the white pants, purple hoodies, white shoes, and some of them wearing their sunglasses).

            The girls greet the stylists and sit in their usual chairs, smiling and striking up a conversation with their makeup unnies. The cameras focus on the girls, each one of the two camera going up to a different girl. The first camera goes to EunMi, who has her eyes closed and her earbuds in. They then move on to Bae Kyon, who is walking over to get her hair washed.

            “Hey everyone!” Bae Kyon greets the camera, taking her seat. “I’m excited for today’s photoshoot! We have also learned the lyrics to our new songs! Lilac fighting!”

            “Bae Kyon-ssi, we need to wash your hair now,” the stylist says to the girl.

            “Yeah...sorry!” Bae Kyon nods, leaning back and waving at the camera.

            The other camera is at Yoo Sawng at the moment, who has already washes her hair and is waiting for the lady to dry it. She waves at the camera and bows her head slightly.

            “Hello!” Yoo Sawng says to the camera.

            “We are the oldest of Lilac!” Vizio butts in, leaning close to Yoo Sawng from her chair and smiling cheekily at the camera. “I’m older, but younger at heart. Yoo Sawng is the mother and I am the 5 year…” she pauses for a moment to remember ‘old’ and ‘child’, but instead continues like this, “baby of the group.”

            “What she means to say is that I am the responsible, caretaker of the group whilst she is the fun, hyper one. We both look after the group, though, and she is a good leader!” Yoo Sawng says, giving an eyesmile.

            The camera goes over to Chaerin and S.Me, who are talking back and forth about what their other photoshoot set will look like. None of the girls actually know what the other ones look like – they only know about the white backdrop and the black backdrop.

            “It’s obviously not going to be a cute photoshoot,” Chaerin says, the girls don’t even pay attention to the camera. “It will be like a style of ‘y’ but with a twist, right?”

            “Hi!” S.Me says, looking at the camera behind Chaerin. Chaerin jumps a little and turns around to stare at the camera. She reaches forward and taps the camera lens a couple times. The cameraman raises an eyebrow at her and so does S.Me. Chaerin then leans back in her seat and the stylist unnie calls her over.

            The camera zooms in on S.Me and she says to it, “Chaerinnie is being a bit odd today, isn’t she?”

            “Ready girls?” the photographer says loudly and the girls nod. They post for the camera as her starts taking pictures, giving the girls a few seconds in between each flash to change their pose.

            They are at the first set, outfits on and makeup and hair done. EunMi has her hood up, her sunglasses on, and her hands in her pockets. She has her hair down and curly; S.Me has her hood down, her sunglasses in her hands, and she is giving a fierce look to the camera while half turned. Her hair is down (it being short) and she has an ‘apple hairstyle’; Chaerin has her back turned to Bae Kyon, who is on her left (the picture’s right) and she had her sunglasses slid down on the bridge of her nose. She has her hair in a side ponytail and her hood is up. She is looking at the camera and her hands are in her hoodie’s pocket; Bae Kyon has her back turned to Chaerin and she has her right hand places on Yoo Sawng’s shoulder. She has her hair down and braided into a ponytail. She has her hood up as well. She gives the camera a fierce expression, like S.Me; Yoo Sawng has her left arm up and it is grabbing the edge of her hood, which is down. Her hair is down as well and her head is tilted slightly. She is giving an almost pouty look towards the camera; Vizio has her right leg bent slightly and she is leaning on her left leg. She has her hood up and she is looking to her left (the picture’s right). Her thumbs are in her jeans pocket and the rest of her hand is made into a fist.

            The girls switch position and take several pictures. Chaerin, EunMi and Yoo Sawng all change into their other dance outfits they had in the music video (EunMi and Yoo Sawng wearing the same outfit as before except with just a white leather jacket showing off their midsection and not the hoodie; Chaerin is wearing the same, but it is open and is showing a white and gold sparkly top. She is also wearing a bow in her hair and knee-high purple high heel boots). They take a few pictures like that, Chaerin being the center, Yoo Sawng and EunMi on her sides and so on.

 In the last pictures for that set, Changjo appears and they are told to pose with him. Of course the girls are nervous, except for Vizio who runs to the boy and jumps on his back. Luckily he just chuckles.

            Changjo stands there in his white graffiti shirt, his grey jeans, and his white leather jacket (the styling noonas gossiped about how hot the younger boy looked) and a pair of white converse. Yoo Sawng walks over confidently and puts her hand on his shoulder, as if pushing him away. Chaerin squats down in the floor in front of everyone (about a few inches in front of the group) and does a peace sign towards the camera, winking. S.Me does a peace sign, too, but holds it up by her eye. She is now moved over by Vizio who is still on Changjo’s back. EunMi stands a couple feet away from the group and points a thumb at them, staring at the camera making a grimacing face. Bae Kyon hesitantly walks over to the side of Yoo Sawng and smiles sweetly at the camera.

            After a few snapshots, the photographer tells them to go get changed and they will be moving onto the next set. Changjo goes gets his clothes from the stylists and goes into a changing room to change (he is going to take a few photos with the group in every set).

            “Why is he here?” Bae Kyon whispers to S.Me.

            “He was in the music video,” she replies, getting her clothes from the stylist. “Makes sense enough.”

            “He’s a cute boy on our set. Be happy,” Chaerin says, as she walks past Bae Kyon and into the girl’s changing room.

           Bae Kyon takes her clothes from the stylist and bows slightly, walking into the changing room, too. She frowns to herself. It isn’t that she is avoiding the boy or anything, but she did want to talk to him. She is a bit afraid to venture anywhere near a boy, though, after what happened with Jeongmin. She shivers at that thought, trying to block the reappearing image from her brain.

            “Those cameramen filmed our laughing like retard out there. I don’t want our fans seeing me snorting!” EunMi says to the girl’s, frowning and pulling her leggings up. “I mean, it’s nice that the fans will be able to see me being a normal person and I am a tomboy and I don’t care…but snorting? I don’t think so!”

            “Someone’s being a drama queen!” Chaerin hints, giggling and pulling her pants up. “I love these jeans, but the designs on them aren’t my style.”

            “They are cute!” Vizio says, looking at the jeans. She pulls her shirt down and grabs her loose vest and puts it on as well. “Mine are…” she forgets the word.

            “Sparkly.”

            “Yeah…sp-ark…ly. Sparkly.”

            “I like them!” S.Me nods, observing the glittery, black pants that Vizio is wearing. She adjusts her dress and her headband and looks in the mirror. “I feel so girly and pretty!”

            “At least they gave me converse sneakers!” EunMi praises, grinning. “I’m the shortest, though and I’m going to look like a midget amongst you all. I better not be standing by Bae Kyon-ah! She is freakishly tall!”

            “I’m 5’7’’. It’s not that tall,” Bae Kyon defends herself, pouting. EunMi shakes her head and looks away from Bae Kyon. She couldn’t stand aegyo at the moment. And besides, no one can deny that Bae Kyon is a bit tall compared to everyone…besides Yoo Sawng.

            “I’m just an inch shorter,” Yoo Sawng informs the girls, standing beside Bae Kyon, showing them. She adjusts her headband and looks at Bae Kyon, giving her a thoughtful smile. Bae Kyon grins back, mouthing a ‘thanks’ to the older girl. Yoo Sawng just nods in reply; walking over to the mirror beside S.Me to make sure her outfit is on right.

            The girls walk onto the white set after finishing their hair and makeup. They see the familiar lights under the glass floor and the walls lined with string lights. They also see the familiar ‘Lilac’ on the back wall. Bae Kyon adjusts her jacket as she steps onto the set. The girls wave at the cameras and get ready for the photoshoot.

            “I want smiles, smirks, anything that shows that you girls are fierce, talented, and do your own thing!” the photographer yells at the girls from behind his camera.

             “Neh!” the girls chorus. Changjo stands by the camera crew and watches as the girls pose. After fewer shots than the last set, Changjo is told to go up there with them.

            “Don’t jump on his back again,” S.Me tells Vizio in Mandarin, shaking her head. “If you break him, we can’t pay for him.”

            “Alright, alright. No breaking Changjo. I got it!” Vizio replies, nodding and giving an ‘okay’ sign with her right hand.

           Since Changjo does remember Bae Kyon, he watched her most of the time during the photoshoot. He wants to talk to her as well, but is a bit intimidated. He knows she is a sweet girl, but what if she has changed? What if her sweetness was an act back then?

            “This time I want…all of you girls trying to get Changjo’s attention, but looking at the camera…and Changjo looking at the camera and smirking! Okay? Okay!” the photographer yells once again.

            Oh crap!  Bae Kyon thinks to herself. I don’t want to do this anymore.

            Changjo stands in the middle and smiles reassuringly at the girls as they decide on their stances. Chaerin puts her arms around his left arm, pulls him towards her and looks at the camera, grinning. Yoo Sawng stands behind Changjo and has her hands on his shoulder, looks over his right should and is smiling cheekily at the camera. Vizio sits in the floor and grabs onto his leg beside Chaerin. She smiles wide at the camera, almost laughing out loud. S.Me grabs his right arm and it looks like she is pulling him. She bends her right knee and smiles at the camera. EunMi stands behind Chaerin on his left side and leans near his face, making a kissy face. She was only doing this because Chaerin dared her to earlier. Bae Kyon sits down in front of him and he and she hold hands, her head leaning against their combined hands.

            Torture! I can’t do this! EunMi thinks to herself, waiting for the camera to flash.

            This is so weird! I can’t talk to him, but I can hold his hand! I’m so confused! Bae Kyon thinks in her head, putting on a fake smile.

            Vizio thinks in her mind, I wonder if this pose is considered ‘normal’. No~

            “Go get changed for your next set!”

            The girls go and get changed.

Vizio: a black, loose tank top, black shorts with studs on them, a purple necklace that says ‘forever’ on it, and purple heels with a bow on the back of them. Her eyes are done in a dark, shadowy shade and fake eyelashes are added. They quickly paint her nails red and add extensions to her hair.

Yoo Sawng: a purple, lace tank top with a white tank top on underneath, a black, short leather jacket that is worn open, a pair of black, ripped skinny jeans, a pair of light blue flats and blue feather earrings. She has on eyeliner that is winged out at the sides. She has on some clear as well and a bit of purple eye shadow on her eyelids. Her hair is worn in a side pony tail and it is curly.

S.Me: purple leggings, a black mini dress with a silver belt, a silver bracelet with black guitars on it, a purple beanie, and black, knee-high converse. She has on a purple-ish eye shadow and mascara; her lips have some darker pink lip gloss on them. Her hair is worn down.

EunMi: black, ripped leggings, black short shorts, pink knee-high converse (like S.Me but in a different color), a purple, baggy shirt. They quickly paint her nails an orange color and fix her makeup with a smoky eye shadow and a bit of lip gloss. She has pink feather earrings in.

Bae Kyon: a purple, skin tight, mini dress, a leather jacket (like Yoo Sawng), a pair of black booties that tie up, a white pearl headband and a red bracelet. She has her hair up in a ponytail, curly, and a few strands hanging down at the sides. Her makeup is done in a light blue shade and she has on a light pink lipstick.

Chaerin: a black, sparkly tank top, a lilac colored skirt, a pair of black booties (like Bae Kyon), a purple bow headband, and a sea green colored necklace. They quickly paint her nails as well but in a purple color. Her hair down and is wavy. They add a couple of fake highlight hair strips to her hair (in hot pink and purple).

            “Hello again, pink converse!” EunMi says unenthusiastically to her shoes, looking at them as they walk to their next set. This set has silver, sparkly glitter strands hanging on the back wall.

            “Girls, pose confidently this time! I want some feminine sides to show as well!” the photographer says.

            “Feminine. You hear that, EunMi? Feminine!” S.Me says to her, sticking her tongue.

            Just as EunMi starts to kick the girl, Vizio pulls her back, shaking her head. “You can’t break S.Me.”

            The girls take their pictures, take some with Changjo, and then change into their final outfits. Bae Kyon still has the urge to talk to Changjo and he feels the same way, but neither makes a move to. Vizio still wants to pick on the boy, but avoids it since the cameras are filming. She didn’t want it to look like she is crushing on him! No way!

            The girls move to the final set to take individual shots in their ‘glamor outfits’ as Chaerin  calls it…EunMi says they are ‘too girly and icky’. ‘Icky’ gets a bunch of laughs out of the girls at EunMi, who rolls her eyes. The girls take their individual shots and end the day, tired and hungry. It only took them 12 hours to finish though…which was short for some idols that had to do longer photoshoots.

            “I need some food for my belly!” EunMi whines, patting her stomach.

            “Girls, remember we are going to the dance studio. We’ll pick up some food for you six and bring it to you. The choreographer is already there and waiting for you all. So, once you get there you need to start practice,” JunSeong says to the girls.

            They all nod and sigh. This is going to be a long day!

            “S.Me! How do you say ‘’ in Korean? Or…how do you spell it?” Vizio asks in Mandarin, poking the girl in the back of her head. S.Me turns around and gives the girl a ‘wtf face’. The others are oblivious to what Vizio said, but by the look on S.Me’s face, they knew it was better not to ask.
