"Woah... you look awful." Dara uttered as she met Jiyong at the table for breakfast. They didn't wash up yet since they somehow eat before anything else if they woke up early, so that they could take care of Mino later on. It could get really hard to find time to eat when you have a kid to take care of. "Yeah? You don't look that good either." Jiyong shot back at her as he was frying eggs. Dara then proceeded to prepare their table and their coffees.  "Yeah... Can't sleep too?" She whispered, thinking back at what happened last night. She'd never been thankful of someone else's presence before.  "Yeah" Jiyong's mind flew into space as he prepared their breakfast just like usual.  --- "Thank you..." Dara softly whispered while they were silently eating their breakfast. She didn't want to be emotional first thing in the morning, but she's just thankful that she had someone to eat breakfast with. She seriously can't even remember how she survived her breakfasts before and one thing she only know is that she doesn't want to eat alone again.  "For... what?" Jiyong asked, slightly puzzled as to why she's thanking him first thing in the morning. He didn't do anything new? It's just like their usual mornings, (but a lot quieter since Mino's not here), so he's definitely confused. "For the breakfast? For being here?" Dara shrugged, not wanting to explain more since she knew that it will just get embarrassing. Jiyong just stared at her, not knowing how to respond. It was the first time that she thanked him for something as random and as mundane but the look in her eyes told him otherwise. It was sincere and so pure. A couple of seconds passed, Dara might've been shy since she broke the eye contact. Jiyong faked a cough as he also felt embarrassed for not answering.  "Then... Thank you too." He answered after a while. He pretended to be too focused in his food so that, he will not be obligated to meet her eyes. He's quite shy in expressing his feelings, even to his own family.  "For what?" "For everything." He truthfully answered and met her eyes. ---
Dara just arrived at the front of their apartment complex, but when she's about to enter the building, she had a sudden urge to go to the convenience store. She then took a left turn and went to the store to buy some soju, beer and some snacks that goes very well with those drinks. She felt like she wanted to drink a lot today so she took a couple of bottles.  She then entered their apartment but felt off as she noticed how quiet and dark it is. Dara was silent for a while as she realized that it was always like this - silent and dark as she arrived home from work.  It was always like this... not until they came. A sob threatened to rise from but she swallowed it with all her might. She quickly dressed up and noticed that Jiyong's still not home. She checked the kitchen and saw that he already cooked food.  Dara prepared the table and sent a quick text to Jiyong - asking where he went. A few seconds after she sent the message, she heard the front door opened.  "Did you go somewhere?" Dara got up and asked Jiyong while he entered. "Uhhh... I bought drinks?" Jiyong said as he held up the plastic bag filled with beers, sojus and snacks.  Dara laughed loudly. She's laughing at how their minds really do think alike.  "Guess what?" "You also bought them?" Jiyong incredulously asked. She nodded as she opened the refrigerator where she stored the drinks, and pointed at the counter where she placed the snacks. Jiyong also laughed as he also can't believe that they thought of the same thing. "Let's just eat first okay?"  They ate their dinner while asking about each other's days. Dara also showed Jiyong Mino's pictures her mother sent earlier during lunch. The baby was wearing a fancy formal wear while they seemed to be eating in a nice garden restaurant. They also sent her selfies with the three of them making funny faces. Her mother also sent Dara videos of Mino playing in a cute playground where he stumbled and fell a couple of times but the baby just laughed her heart out.  "Ahhhh, I'm so jealous! My parents  took a lot of days off from our company just to be with Mino!" Dara cried out in jealousy. His father was running a family business but he dropped it in an instant the moment they got hold of Mino. But of course, not to mention her mom's persistent begging to take their long forgotten vacation. Her mother is also managing some small businesses, which is her beloved flower shops and a few cafes. The bar where Jiyong worked as a bartender was under her mother's name too. In short, they are both quite busy and they took a two week vacation for Mino! They didn't think of inviting Dara, who's in fact, their real daughter. Honestly,  she felt a little bitter since it's been so long since they had a family vacation, but how could she stay mad when they are enjoying theirselves so much?  "They seemed to miss taking care of a child." Jiyong noticed, since her parents looked really happy in their pictures with Mino. "Yes! Since I'm the only daughter they had, they've been asking for a grandson or granddaughter for years already!" Dara exclaimed absentmindedly as she scrolled down with more of their pictures. "T-they were?" Jiyong whispered in disbelief. Yeah it could be like that since Dara's the only daughter they had.  But... "Yeah they've been setting me up with their friend's sons for years already! But it somehow magically stopped ever since father saw us here. Ever since then, my mother kept bugging me to send pictures of the both of you." Dara truthfully answered while finishing her food. She totally didn't notice that Jiyong stopped eating due to shock. "You had ma-marriage interviews?" He asked further, totally curious about the topic. "Yeah a lot. I failed and ignored a lot too. Let's stop talking about it, I might lose my appetite." Dara forcefully dismissed and shook her head, trying to erase the horr
