"Si-sir, uh..." Jiyong stuttered as he faced the man who is obviously someone with great authority. Mino even stopped crying as he maybe felt that this scene is not the time to be whining. Jiyong already deduced that this man on front of him is Dara's father without even asking. The resemblance are too much to deny. But the important thing is, what should he do?! Dara didn't mention anything of her family, so they didn't have any plan whenever they would visit!  "Where is my daughter?!" The man shouted, anger is quite evident in his booming voice. Jiyong is no fool, he knew what this would look like from an outsider's point of view. He knew yet, he accepted it with his own will. He is just really pathetic.  "Dara! Daraaa!" Her father entered the apartment forcefully, almost pushing Jiyong and Mino to the side, but Jiyong acted quick and protected Mino from his shove. He can almost feel the baby's urge to cry once again so he whispered soothing shhhh's to prevent him from crying.  Jiyong can't move any muscle so he just stood on the corner, trying to hide from her father's wrath. "Dad?! Why are you here?" Dara emerged from her room, still in her towels. She obviously ran out of the bathroom in haste.  "Am I not allowed in my daughter's house?! You certainly have a lot to explain!" He shouted with his mind still confused to the presence of a baby and a man in her daughter's house. "Dad, please stop shouting, you're scaring Mino." Dara said as she took notice of the baby's tears flowing silently. She immediately took Mino in her arms which shocked Jiyong but they did their best to console the baby with all their powers. He's not even making a sound but his tears are flowing! He must have been too shocked to even utter some sound. After a couple of seconds, Jiyong noticed the sticky and confused glare from Dara's father which made him aware of the situation. He faked a cough and whispered inconspicuosly. "Dara, maybe you should get dressed. I'll take care of Mino." He softly said while doing his best not to stare at her. She then realized that she's still in towels so she bolted to her room in record speed. Her father just witnessed her in that clothes with a man in her apartment, she could understand why he's so furious. "Who are you and who's that kid? I don't recall Dara getting pregnant so it is definitely not hers." He pointed to Mino as if he's a disease that should be cured which offended Jiyong a little.  "I'm Dara's friend, Jiyong and this is Mino." He answered, his self esteem hitting rock bottom under the gaze of this man. He exudes confidence and authority that no man could deny. He reminded Jiyong of the big politicians he used to serve befofe. "Is he yours?" "Mino is not ours, we-we're just taking care of him for the time being." He stuttered, unable to explain things properly.  "My greatest confusion in this situation is to why the both of you in my daughter's apartment so early in the morning. Why did you visit her so early when she's got work to do?" His father's eyebrow rose in suspicion which made Jiyong gulp in nervousness. He stuttered like an idiot since he can't find the right words to say. Are there even right words to explain this bizarre situation? "What?!" Her father's voice rose once again which made Jiyong tremble in fear. "They're living here, Dad." Jiyong heard Dara said which made relieved him and made him nervous once again.
