Seulgi stays quiet the whole time, her lips locked to keep her from saying anything to Seungwan, to avoid breaking down with Soojung's sin and her fault in breaking Seulgi.  Irene looks at her, and she sees Seulgi trying. Trying not to cry, refraining herself from tearing up with her past lover coming back into her life. It hurts Irene. It does, with how weak Seulgi suddenly seem, and Seungwan tries to cheer her up with pastries, but Irene thinks she knows Seulgi. She will stay in her own room, staring towards the empty skies she sees every night.  That worries Irene because she had a glimpse of Seulgi's happiness. She had a taste of what Seulgi can be when she's joyful, when she's not broken like this.  When Seungwan was called for the counter, Irene scoots closer to Seulgi, wanting to radiate some warmth to the younger.  Careful as she can, she asks Seulgi, "Do you wanna go home?" Her voice sounds soft, like a nice melody she hears on the radio, and Seulgi snaps from her trance. Her eyes follow the people passing by the cafe. Some were wearing corporate clothing, some wearing uniform. They all have hurtings and pain, but they also have their fair share of happiness.  Seulgi, slowly, trying not to be too hard on herself by suddenly nodding, moves her head up and down. This would be the first time in a long time she called her apartment home, and she assumes it has something to do with how Irene tries to tell her it'll be alright.  (It won't at that certain time, but with how Seulgi sees Irene in a brighter light, she's sure it'll come.) - They walk towards Seulgi's apartment, where Irene's staying right now, when a light bulb sparks with an idea in Irene's head.  She checks if Seulgi can handle walking another six blocks, because they were already in front of Seulgi's complex, and Irene's starting to get shy with Seulgi's compliance with all she ever suggests, before asking, "Hey, I have an idea." "Yeah?" Seulgi starts to walk inside the complex tower, and Irene is starting to regret even speaking because she sees how Seulgi visibly slumps her shoulders walking inside. "You know what, nevermind." Irene speaks, dismissing her thoughts and follows Seulgi inside. But she only sees a frozen Seulgi waiting for her at the front of the apartment complex glass door. "Let me hear it, Hyun." She gives a small smile that says I'm in it to Irene, but Irene looks shocked with something she heard that slipped from Seulgi.  Seulgi looks expectant, she's always looking forward to what Irene suggests. Irene hasn't disappointed her yet. Nice restaurants they've been eating at, especially that one Thai restau where Seulgi almost burned her wallet with how many phò she ordered. Netflix shows they've been watching with Irene's suggested movies, and Seulgi loves how Irene recited the dialogues from The Notebook, and how she was surprised that Irene had some bad opinion with Beauty and the Beast.  "Hey, Seul. You good?" Irene snaps her fingers at a blank Seulgi who's looking at her with expectation.  "What were you saying, Irene? I'm sorry I blanked out."  "You always do, I'm used to it." Irene chuckles at her teasing, and Seulgi wants to retort that she's just always sleepy, she stops her tongue when she starts to see how Irene's eyes form crescents and the way her hand covers shyly when she laughs.  She knows she's got it bad, but not that bad. (It's that bad that she realizes that she sees Irene as a morning star and the moon at the same time.) "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, Rene." So she just silently give up teasing back Irene, and Irene smiles again before speaking, her voice timid and she looks like the school president asking her crush to do a favor for her, "Would you like to go?"  "Where ever you go, Irene, I'm there." She's about to regret suddenly replying those words, but with how Irene looks flushed with the quick, sweet answer, a soft, pink blush resting on Irene's cheeks, Seulgi thinks it was worth the shot. Irene recomposes, she can't be this weak with pretty girls, and she's not this weak with pretty girls. But with how Seulgi looks
