5. I’ll Miss You!

 

 

It feels like flashback of what happened few years ago when they parted apart from each other. Standing at the train station waiting for the train to Seoul to come, but the only different now is they admitted their feelings for each other and are official a couple. Jinyoung hugged Mark tightly, don’t want to let go of the elder.

 

 

“You need to hold your promise…” Jinyoung said in tears, unwilling to be apart from Mark again

 

 

“Of course, I will call you every day and video chat with you, send message to you, but you need to hold your promise as well…” Mark said and kissed Jinyoung’s neck

 

 

“I will call you and text you…. I’ll miss you…” Jinyoung said and broke the hug before he gave Mark a kiss on the lips, the elder kissed the younger back and their parents chuckled and giggled over their son’s actions. Their parents always knew that they liked each other and are open for witch gender they like so when they told them that they were dating, it just made them happy.

 

 

“I know long distance relationship is difficult, but let’s try it out Mark-hyung…” Jinyoung said and forced a smile, even he is sad for need to being apart from the elder

 

 

“Let’s try not to lose contact this time baby…” Mark the younger’s cheek and said before he kissed Jinyoung’s forehead

 

 

The train came and Mark’s parents were already inside the train, Mark gave Jinyoung one last kiss on the lips before he went inside the train as well. They waved goodbye to each other until the train started to drove and they couldn’t see each other anymore.

 

 

Days went by and they keep their promise of calling and message each other, they will face time too. Jinyoung can’t lie to himself that he misses the elder and calling or face time aren’t enough for the younger, he wants to hug and kiss Mark and never ever let go.

 

 

“Hyung, I miss you…” Jinyoung said to Mark, they were face timing on Skype. It’s afternoon when both of them having a lunch break. Jinyoung were sitting under a big tree alone while Mark were sitting at a bench on the rooftop.

 

 

“I miss you to Jinyoungie…” Mark said and pouted

 

 

“How have you been lately by the way?” Jinyoung asked and forced a smile

 

 

“I’m fine, just missing you…” Mark said and winked to the younger made Jinyoung blush

 

 

“Hyung, you’re always so cheesy…” Jinyoung said and pouted

 

 

“I only are chee…” Mark’s words got cut off by a girl

 

 

“Oppa…” A girl said, she sat beside the elder and slang her arm around Mark, she looked at Jinyoung and formed to a ‘o’

 

 

“Oh, you’re face timing with your friend?” She looked at Mark and asked before she turned back to Jinyoung

 

 

“Hi, I’m Mark oppa’s…” She started, but Mark cut her sentence

 

 

“Momo-ah, can you give me some alone time? I will meet you at the cafeteria when I’m done…” Mark asked and that Momo girl nodded before she left the rooftop

 

 

“Momo? Who is she? Why she had her arm around you?” Jinyoung asked angrily after the Momo girl have left, he was jealous

 

 

“She…she is just a classmate…she actually my friend Jackson’s girlfriend…” Mark lied, Mark knew well himself that he is two timing with Jinyoung and Momo. It’s not that it is the first time Mark been two timing with someone or playing someone’s heart. He always lies, but he didn’t know why he stuttered and felt so nervous for lying to Jinyoung.

 

 

“You are stuttering…are you telling me the truth?” Jinyoung asked and it made Mark even more nervous

 

 

“I’m just scared that you would misunderstand…” Mark said it fast and Jinyoung just nodded his head

 

 

“I love you hyung, please don’t cheat…” Jinyoung said in a low voice, but it was loud enough for Mark to hear

 

 

“Why would I, I love you Jinyoungie…” Mark said and the elder for the first time felt a bit guilty

 

 

ONE WEEK LATER!

 

 

Jinyoung were sitting at the library with Youngjae, Jinyoung was on the phone waiting for Mark to reply on a message he sent this morning, but the elder hasn’t reply anything yet and it already been 5 hours. Jinyoung stared at the message, it has been read for 4 hours ago and yet no reply.

 

 

To: Mark-boyfie ❤

“Mark-hyung, I miss you, can we face time?”

 

 

Youngjae looked away from his book and sneakily read the message on Jinyoung’s phone, the younger shook his head.

 

 

“Stupid in love hyung?” Youngjae asked and Jinyoung gave his attention to the younger, but he didn’t understand Youngjae’s question.

 

 

“What do you mean?” Jinyoung wiggled his eyebrow and asked

 

 

“You always said that I was stupid in love when I waited for my exes to reply my messages, sees who stupid in love now…” Youngjae said and chuckled, but earned a hit from his bestfriend

 

 

“Mark-hyung is different…” Jinyoung said

 

 

“Yeah, yeah… but be careful man, like you always like to say ‘you never knew the truth when you are in love, when you’re in love, everything in yours eyes is different, you don’t see the reality’…so I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be with that Mark guy, but in your eyes he may be the perfect boyfriend, but how much do you actually know about him, you haven’t seen him in 5 years, he could have become a playboy…” Youngjae said and it hit Jinyoung really hard, the truth is he don’t know much about Mark anymore, the thing Youngjae said was right, they haven’t meet in five years, Mark could have changed

 

 

“I don’t know Youngjae-ah….” Jinyoung said with a sigh and looked down, made Youngjae guilty for say what he said

 

 

“You know what, just pretend that I didn’t said anything, I’m actually happy that you finally found someone you like and choose to be in a relationship and no longer a forever alone nerd…” Youngjae said, but the only thing Jinyoung could do was nodding his head, he couldn’t pretend everything was never been said when it already has been said, it still linking in his head.

 

 

“Is Mark-hyung a playboy? Is he playing with me?” Jinyoung asked himself in his mind

 

 

On the other side, Mark is still in the bed in his dorm room. Mark have always lived in the dorm, he felt more free and his parents just let him. He went out to a club with his friends Jackson, JB and Momo last night. He drank a lot and it made him woke up with a headache, he turned around and saw Momo sleeping beside him, it’s not that is the first time he had with Momo, but he somehow felt guilty and thought of Jinyoung. Mark went to the bathroom and took a cold shower.

 

 

“Am I serious with Jinyoung?” Mark asked himself in his mind, he never felt like this before, he never felt guilty before, he had never ever been serious in a relationship before.

 

 

When he went out of the bathroom and back to his dorm room Momo already awake and ran towards the elder and hugged Mark. She was wearing Mark’s oversized t-shirt, she looked y, but in Mark’s mind was just of Jinyoung.

 

 

“Oppa, shall we go grab some breakfast?” Momo asked with aegyo and Mark just answered with a simple ‘yeah’

 

 

Mark went to his phone who were at the nightstands beside the bed, while Momo went to take a quick shower. Mark sat on the edge of the bed and it was also then he saw Jinyoung’s message, he also saw that he has already read it for 4 hours ago. “I must have opened the message when I was still in my drunkenness” Mark muttered and quickly find an excuse and typed the reply to the younger

 

 

To: My Jinyoungie

“Sorry, I was in class so I couldn’t reply to you, I almost got caught when I read your message…”

 

 

It didn’t take long before a reply came from the younger

 

 

From: My Jinyoungie

“Was it a long lecture? You read my message 4 hour ago…”

 

 

“Omg, what a lame excuse, what kind of lecture takes 4 hours without a break…” Mark thought and made his hand through his hair of frustration

 

 

To: My Jinyoungie

“The lecture wasn’t that long, but I forgot to reply when it was over, I’m sorry Jinyoungie, please forgive me, I promise it won’t happen again.”

 

 

Mark pressed the send button and sent the message, “Why am I begging for forgiveness?” Mark muttered to himself

 

 

“Oppa, what did you say?” Mark was too focused on messaging Jinyoung that he totally forgot that Momo was still there

 

 

“Mhm, nothing…” Mark just said

 

 

“Okay, but I’m ready, shall we go?” Momo asked, ready to go

 

 

“Go where?” Mark asked a bit dumfounded, made Momo let out a chuckle

 

 

“Go eat breakfast, or more like lunch now…” Momo said and sat beside Mark on the bed while she clings on him

 

 

“I’m not hungry, what about you go yourself, I want to be alone for a bit…” Mark said and slowly moved a bit away from Momo

 

 

“But oppa….” Momo whined and pouted

 

 

“I said go…” Mark raised his voice a bit and it made Momo to leave Mark alone in the room.

 

 

Mark lied down on the bed and he stared at the phone where the message has been read, but no reply

 

 

“Did he not buy my lie? Is he mad? Should I send one more message?” Mark asked in his mind

 

 

“Aishh why am I so worried?” Mark screamed of frustration, but the phone call got his attention. It was Jinyoung who calling him by face time. The elder quickly answered it

 

 

“Jinyoungie…” Mark said and looked worried at the younger

 

 

“Sorry that I didn’t reply your message hyung, I wanted to face time with you and it took so long to make Youngjae let me go to face time with you…” Jinyoung explained and smiled

 

 

“Are you mad at me Jinyoungie?” Mark asked

 

 

“No, why should I be mad?” Jinyoung asked back

 

 

“I didn’t reply right away on your message…” Mark said and looked away from the younger

 

 

“You had a lecture, of course you should focus on your studies…” Jinyoung said and smiled warmly towards the elder, made Mark look at him again

 

 

“But I forgot to reply after the lecture…” Mark said with a sad face

 

 

“Things happens hyung, I sometimes forgets things I need to do easily too, so don’t worry, I’m not mad at all. So how was your day?” Jinyoung said and asked

 

 

“I miss you…”
