20. HOW?

“YOU!!!!” Jinyoung shouted shocked, he can’t believe that Youngjae’s boyfriend is Jackson. The other just nodded his head to confirm

“How?” Jinyoung asked curiously

“It’s a long story…” Jackson said with his head down

“I have plenty of time here, so tell me now…...” Jinyoung commended and Jackson moved his head up to look at Jinyoung and tell his and Youngjae’s story

FLASHBACK

Jackson were sitting beside BamBam’s cemetery talking to his ex-boyfriend, he really misses the younger even he got hurt by him before. He knew well himself that he has become a player just like the younger because he really doesn’t want to get hurt again and he knew that BamBam was in love with him and it is wrong to be a player, but he doesn’t want to once again cry for being hurt by the one you love.

“I think I really fell for the new guy….” Jackson said with his head down and tears started to fell

“You fell for who?” a voice got Jackson’s attention and he turned around to see who it was. There stands Youngjae with his phone and looked at Jackson curiously

“What are you doing here?” Jackson asked irritated, he didn’t want anyone to see him like this

“I…. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop your conversation with your boyfriend, I was actually going back to the dorm, but I fell asleep in the bus and I don’t know where I am anymore. It’s late and there’s no more bus, I was planning to go back by foot, but I ended up in this cemetery….” Youngjae explained with an apologised smile

“How long have you stayed here?” Jackson wipes his tears and asked

“I saw you from afar and wanted to ask you if you can take me back, but you were so deep in conversation with your boyfriend so I didn’t want to stop you, I was behind you from you asked your boyfriend ‘why you become like this...” Youngjae explained and looked at Jackson in the eyes. The elder didn’t say anything and just stared at the younger

“I’m sorry ok, you don’t need to mind me, I can wait to you done conversation with your boyfriend, I can just sit and wait, but please take me back later. I really don’t want to sleep here….” Youngjae said and pleaded the elder. Jackson didn’t say anything and just nodded his head as a reply

Youngjae turned around and sat a little away from Jackson to give him and BamBam space, he put on his headphones to listen to some music while waiting. The younger hummed to the music and didn’t notice that Jackson already stand up and shouted his name

“YOUNGJAE!!!” Jackson shouted again, but this time a lot louder and finally got Youngjae’s attention. The younger pull out his headphone in his right ear and turned his head to look at the elder

“Let’s go, I will take you back to the dorm….” Jackson said and turn around about to go

“Already? Why? You’re done talking to your boyfriend?” Youngjae asked and made Jackson turn to face him

“How am I supposed to talk to him when you’re here?” Jackson asked back with a little bit irritated tone

“I said that you didn’t need to mind me, I will just listen to music and wait, I won’t eavesdrop this time, I promise…” Youngjae said with a smile

“Let’s just go… or you want to sleep here?” Jackson said and turned around to go

“Of course not….” Youngjae shouted and ran after the elder to his car

The ride was awkwardly silent and Youngjae looked at Jackson who was focusing on the road, not in mood to talk at all

“The new guy you fell for is Jinyoung-hyung right?” Youngjae asked randomly to start a conversation

“You know that there are some question you just shouldn’t ask right?” Jackson asked back threatening, but Youngjae didn’t seem scared at all or just too naive to now when he should be scared, thought the elder.

“I just want to start a conversation, don’t answer if you don’t want to…” Youngjae said and pulled out his phone.

“You don’t want to talk? Fine, I will talk to my crush instead…” Youngjae thought and opened his Kakaotalk app and send a message to his online crush who he has talked to for months now. Youngjae waited for a reply, but Jackson’s phone suddenly rang for a message notification

“Can you get my phone from my jacket in the back seat?” Jackson asked the younger and Youngjae turned around to get the elder’s phone

“YOU ARE JACK94?” Youngjae shouted and looked at the elder unbelievable, he got the elder’s phone and saw that the notification was his message to his online crush

“What are you talking about, JACK94 is my online chat name, don’t read my messages, is impolite. Now give me my phone…” Jackson said and was about to take his phone, but the younger were faster to pull away, not to let the elder take his phone. Jackson was focusing on the road and didn’t want to get into some accident so he didn’t fight back to take his phone

“I’m Yjae96…” Youngjae said and it made Jackson suddenly brake heavily, he was to shocked to hear that. Jackson always liked to talk to people online, he thought he could be himself without worrying people to find out who he is.

“Careful….” Youngjae said rubbing his chest who got hurt from the sudden brake because of the seatbelt

“You’re Yjae96?” Jackson asked, but before the younger could answer there were some car from behind who honked on them since they blocked the way. Jackson quickly drove to the sideway and asked Youngjae the same question again

“Yes, I’m Yjae96 and I was the one who just sent you a message… I can’t believe that you’re JACK94, Jinyoung-hyung was right, all the online people are just players…” Youngjae said a bit disappointed

“Hey!!!” Jackson shouted at the younger for the disappointment tone

“Sorry, but you need to admit that you’re a player, even you fell for Jinyoung-hyung you still a player…” Youngjae said with pouting lips, he was disappointed. He was pretty in love with his online crush and wanted to meet and start a relationship with the other, but now all his dream was destroyed.

“Yeah, I’m a player and even I fell for Jinyoung, he still won’t love me back…. because in his heart is always just Mark-hyung….” Jackson said bitterly and looked down

“It’s funny though, to meet my crush like this….” Youngjae said while looking at the front

“Your crush?” Jackson asked with a smirk, knowing that he was the younger’s crush

“OMG did I said it loud….” Youngjae thought and mentally slap himself

“I… I…I…mean….I…mean….” Youngjae stuttered with a red face like a tomato

“Haha…you’re cute….” Jackson chuckled and said, the elder then squeezed the younger’s cheek, made Youngjae blush even harder

Jackson started his car again and drove the younger back to the dorm. From that day on Jackson and Youngjae would still message each other on Kakaotalk, but also meet to have some fun talk face to face. Slowly they grow feelings for each other and Jackson bravely asked the younger out for a date. The younger hesitated at first since he knew that the elder once fell for his Jinyoung-hyung, but Jackson explained that he thought that he fell for Jinyoung because in some way the other resembled his ex-boyfriend. But he really like Youngjae and fell for the younger’s cuteness, Youngjae listened to the other and finally said yes to Jackson since he always was in love with his online crush. Slowly they started dating, but none of them were brave enough to tell Jinyoung.

END OF FLASHBACK

“Ok, I’m out….” Jinyoung said and put up both of his hands
