28. Stay Or Leave!

 

 

“What should I do?” Jinyoung muttered and let out a sigh, he really doesn’t know what to do anymore, he don’t know how to tell Mark the truth

 

 

“Do what?” Mark just came back to the dorm from his lecture and heard Jinyoung’s question and sigh

 

 

“What......mhm…. nothing….” Jinyoung stuttered and looked away, don’t want to have eye contact with the elder

 

 

“You’re acting weird lately, tell me if something is wrong okay….” Mark went to sit beside the younger on the couch and said while he caressed the younger’s hair from the back

 

 

“I will, don’t worry….” Jinyoung said and pecked the elder’s cheek

 

 

“Okay then, shall we eat outside tonight?” Mark asked Jinyoung with a smile on his face

 

 

“I can’t eat dinner with you tonight, one of my classmate had birthday party…” Jinyoung said with an apologising smile

 

 

“Party?” Mark asked with his eyebrow up, he doesn’t like Jinyoung go to parties without him, he scared that some player would lay a hand on Jinyoung

 

 

“It’s not a party, party…. It’s a small birthday dinner with some close friends from the class. I won’t drink much, maybe just a beer or something, so don’t worry….” Jinyoung said and made Mark feel a little bit relieved since it’s not a big party with a lot of alcohol and drugs like the elder used to. But he is still worried

 

 

“Should I go with you?” Mark asked with an angelic smile, trying to make the younger agree

 

 

“Why should you? You don’t even know them…” Jinyoung chuckled over Mark question and said

 

 

“But…” Mark tried to protest, but Jinyoung broke his sentence

 

 

“NO buts, just go find Jackson and them or stay at the dorm to relax….” Jinyoung said, more like a command, made the elder have no choice, but agree

 

 

“Fine….” Mark said with pouting lips, not so happy of his boyfriend will be leaving him tonight

 

 

“I will make it up to you okay……” Jinyoung said and cupped the elder’s face and kissed Mark pouting lips, made the elder smile again

 

 

They had a hot make out session until Jinyoung broke the kiss and have to get ready and leave the elder for the birthday. Jinyoung went to take a shower and changed to an outfit Mark couldn’t take his eyes off. Jinyoung was wearing a white V-neck t-shirt with black coat and ripped black jeans, he had his hair up, showing his forehead. To Mark opinion, Jinyoung become worlds iest men ever.

 

 

“Hyung, I’m leaving……hyung…. Mark-hyung….” Jinyoung shouted several times since the elder just stared at him blankly

 

 

“What?” Mark came back to reality and asked Jinyoung

 

 

“I say, I’m leaving…. are you okay?” Jinyoung repeated and asked worried 

 

 

“I’m fine, just call me when the party is over and I will come and get you…” Mark stand up and put his hands on the younger’s waist and said

 

 

“Okay…” Jinyoung said and kissed Mark on the lips, before he went out of the dorm to the birthday

 

 

Mark texted Jackson to meet up after Jinyoung left the dorm and the other gladly agreed. Jackson was in JB’s dorm with Youngjae and Mark was ready to head to them. Mark went first to the convenience store to buy some snacks, he wanted to buy beer to, but the thought of he had to get Jinyoung later that night, he decides to not buy it. On the way to JB’s dorm the elder saw Yugyeom and his boyfriend Jungkook sitting at the bench outside the dorm lobby, they were facing the other direction. Mark wanted to go say hi, but their conversation stopped him and made him eavesdrop.

 

 

“Mark is my bestfriend, but I think Jinyoung should leave him….” Yugyeom said and looked up to the sky

 

 

“Totally agree, but it’s still Jinyoung-hyung to you…. wait…. you agreeing with me? You also think Jinyoung should just leave Mark?” Jungkook asked his boyfriend shocked, he thought that Yugyeom would stand on Mark’s side and ask Jinyoung to stay

 

 

“Yeah, he should leave, he wanted to leave don’t him? Mark is a strong guy…. he will handle this. His heart might break and hurt a bit, but he will be fine to the end….” Yugyeom said and looked at Jungkook nodding his head for agreeing

 

 

“I said the same to Jinyoung, when he told me that he wanted to leave….” Jungkook said and lied his head on Yugyeom’s shoulder

 

 

“What are they talking about? Jinyoung wants to leave me? Where is he leaving to? Is he breaking up with me? Is it that’s why he is acting so weird lately? Don’t he love me anymore?” Mark thought and went sadly to JB’s dorm without greeting Yugyeom and Jungkook like he planned

 

 

“What took you so long man?” Jackson asked when the elder went inside the dorm and he took the snacks from Mark’s hand

 

 

“Are you ok Mark?” JB asked the elder when he looked so sadly

 

 

“Jinyoung is leaving me….” Mark said and sat down on the floor, head on his knee

 

 

“He already decided to leave?” JB asked and it made Mark to look up surprised

 

 

“Had he finally told you?” Jackson asked right after and made Mark even more surprised

 

 

“Do all of you know? So everyone knew this, but I’m the only idiot here that doesn’t know that my boyfriend is leaving me soon? What a ing …” Mark coursed angrily and stormed out of JB’s dorm and slammed the door after him. Jackson wanted to follow, but JB stopped him

 

 

“Let him be, he need time to calm down…. I think he wants some alone time….” JB said and Jackson just sat back down on the floor

 

 

Mark felt betrayed when all of his friends knew that Jinyoung is leaving him, but he is the only one that didn’t know. He felt like an idiot, that didn’t feel that Jinyoung already lost the love for him and wanted to leave him. He went to the rooftop for some fresh air, he thought that he was strong like Yugyeom said, but he wasn’t and the tears slowly run down just of the thought of living without Jinyoung. Mark sat on the floor, hands around his leg and heads on his knees, he cried and cried for not know how many hours. He stopped until his phone rang and it was Jinyoung, his boyfriend who is leaving him soon. Mark whips his tears and calmed down before he picked up the phone call.

 

 

“Jinyoung-ah….” Mark said and tried to hold his tears so Jinyoung won’t find out he is crying

 

 

“I’m done over here hyung, will you come and pick me up?” Jinyoung said happily waiting for the elder’s response

 

 

“Yeah, I will come now…. love you….” Mark said and waited for Jinyoung to say he love him too

 

 

“Okay, I see you then…” Jinyoung said and hung up the phone call without saying he love Mark too, made the elder wanted to cry even more and was even more sure that the younger doesn’t love him anymore

 

 

Mark drove to the restaurant Jinyoung’s friend held his birthday at and he saw Jinyoung talking happily with one male outside the restaurant. Jinyoung laughed loudly and hit the guy on the arm.

 

 

“Why is Jinyoung flirting with him? Is he Jinyoung’s new boyfriend? Is he the reason Jinyoung wanted to leave me? Did he call me here just to let me see that he found someone else?” Mark asked multi of questions in his mind, before he rolled down his car window and shouted for Jinyoung

 

 

“Mark-hyung….” Jinyoung said and bid goodbye to the other guy and get into the elder’s car

 

 

“Who was that?” Mark asked without looking at Jinyoung

 

 

“Who? Ah, he is the birthday boy, Jung Ilhoon, from my history class…” Jinyoung said and smiled

 

 

“So his name is Ilhoon…” Mark thought and looked at Jinyoung fixing his seat belt

 

 

“Hyung, your eyes are so red, what happened?” Jinyoung asked worried and was about to touch Mark’s face, but the elder turned around

 

 

“I got something on my eyes earlier and it hurts so it become red…” Mark said some lay excuse and started the car

 

 

“Did you cleanse it then? It may get infection….” Jinyoung said and looked at the elder worried

 

 

“It won’t get infection of tears…” Mark thought

 

 

“Yeah, I already cleansed it, don’t worry…” Mark said and focused on the road

 

 

“Are even worrying of me?” Mark asked in his mind

 

 

“Okay, then….” Jinyoung said and looked out of the window

 

 

The ride quiet down and none of them said anything, even when they back to the dorm it was just silent between them. Both of them took a shower after each other and went to bed. At first they had the back towards each other, but Mark changed position and back hugged the younger.

 

 

“Do you love me, Jinyoung-ah?” Mark asked quietly, but loud enough for Jinyoung to hear

 

 

“Why are you suddenly asking this?” Jinyoung asked back without answering the elder’s question

 

 

“So you don’t love me….” Mark said sadly and broke the hug

 

 

“What are you talking about?” Jinyoung turned around to face the elder and asked, not understanding Mark’s sudden behaviour

 

 

“You don’t love me and you’re leaving me…” Mark said and he couldn’t control his tears from running down

 

 

“I don’t understa….” Jinyoung started, but Mark broke his sentence

 

 

“You are leaving me… I know everything now and all our friends knew it too…. I’m the only one knowing nothing like an idiot until now…. and don’t even dare to deny it….” Mark sat up and shouted loudly and put his hand on his face to cover his crying face

 

 

“You find out? ......I’m sorry….” Jinyoung sat up as well and said
