26. ME OR HIM? Part 2

“Let’s break up man….” Jackson said with a serious tone and Mark looked at Jackson with a shocked face

“Break up? What do you mean?” Mark asked shocked, not understanding what the younger meant

“Where’s Jinyoung?” Jackson asked and welcomed himself into the dorm

“He said that he is tired, so he went to sleep first…. he just went inside so must still be awake…” Mark said while pointing at the bedroom door that Jinyoung had closed after him

“Tired of you maybe…” Jackson said and sat on the couch “and bring me some beer….” Jackson said after and Mark went to get some beer

“What do you mean tired of me? Jinyoung would never get tired of me….” Mark said with confidence and gave the beer to Jackson and also sat at the couch

“Ok, I love man, but we really should break up…” Jackson opened his can of beer and said

“What do you mean break up? I don’t understand…” Mark asked dumbfounded, not understanding a

“Are you sure that Jinyoung would stay by your side no matter what? No matter what you do and he would still stay by your side? Like forever?” Jackson looked at Mark seriously and asked

“Yeah, obviously….” Mark said and it made Jackson let out a sigh

“You really are not observant….” Jackson said and drank his beer

“What? Split it out…. What do you mean? Don’t come here a talk bull?” Mark said irritated

“Bull? Do you know who is feeling like ? Your boyfriend is feeling like and you don’t get it…” Jackson said irritated, he felt sorry for Jinyoung. Jackson don’t want Jinyoung to get hurt even Mark is also someone he love

“? Are you talking about our fight last week?” Mark said and was confused

“No, not about your last week fight, but now. On our way back, do you know what Youngjae told me in the car? He told me that Jinyoung felt like he is a mistress that can’t been seen, that can’t let people know about…. a -partner you hide…” Jackson said and let out a sigh

“Why would he feel like that?” Mark was lost and asked, he don’t understand

“Because of us….” Jackson said

“Us?” Mark asked while pointing at himself and Jackson

“Yes, us…. you always hang out with me, and never go on dates with him anymore, only staying at the dorm…. whenever he tries to go out on dates with you, you would say that you’re tired or you going to do those activities with me. He wanted to learn skateboarding and have the same interest and hobby like you, he begged for you to teach him, but you just went to skateboarding with me. Youngjae told me that he was exited and even dragged him to buy a skateboard and practised it days before our double date today…...” Jackson said and Mark was shocked to hear that from the younger about Jinyoung

“Why?” Mark asked, wanted to know more

“Why? Yeah, why? Youngjae asked him why practising when you were going to teach him today and he said that he know you too well…. he knew that you easily get irritated, he knew that he going to get you irritated when he is so bad at it, so he wanted to practise first and have the balance and basics in place before you teaching him so you wouldn’t get so easily irritated…. he fell so many times, many of the bruises he had wasn’t even from today, but you didn’t notice it. It’s summer and he had long sleeves on, it’s not because he likes it, it’s because he wanted to hide the bruises, when he fell he just say that those bruises were from today…...” Jackson said and let out a sigh before continuing

“Youngjae even asked him if he wanted me to teach him a little first, but he declined it, he said that it’s special for him that having you teaching him something you love and it’s not special anymore if some other man teach him first. He was excited of this double date, but all he got was an irritated you when he always fell and didn’t get the technique…... he said he didn’t want to learn anymore wasn’t because he didn’t want to learn, it’s because he knew that you were irritated and he wanted you to have fun, so he let you go skateboarding with me and other skaters instead…. if it wasn’t for Youngjae who suggested this double date, would you even go teach him skateboarding? Do you know what he told us when I went to check on Youngjae? He told us that he was jealous of us and I asked him why, but he just stayed silent…. I finally understand why when Youngjae had told me everything. He was jealous of us because I always check on Youngjae’s being and you don’t check on him. I always make time for Youngjae and have dates with him and you stopped with it…... yeah I understand you that you never ask Jinyoung to do those activities with you, because you know that Jinyoung isn’t a sporty person… he never played basketball, he doesn’t like climbing, but he likes to read books…. But have you ever asked him? He wants to do something you likes, even it is something he is not good at….” Jackson told Mark everything and it made the elder feel like , feeling guilty for not being observant to see what Jinyoung actually wants and just being too selfish and confident over what he wants and thought was the best

“Anyway, I’m breaking up with you man…. for a while at least, spend more time with Jinyoung…. You can have me back as your buddy when you made Jinyoung feeling special again, but I won’t spend as much time with you anymore…. Sorry for breaking this relationship as your bestfriend and buddy to do sporty activities with, but I can’t stand seeing Jinyoung being hurt and sad…. Love you, bro, but let’s not hang out for a while…” Jackson said and stands up for leaving

“Thanks Jack…. for telling me this….” Mark said and Jackson just smiled before leaving to his own dorm

Mark went inside the bedroom after Jackson had left, he went to the bedside and saw Jinyoung sleeping soundly, he squad down and saw that the younger had tears that haven’t dried yet on the cheek

“You are really crying to much you know? I’m sorry babe…” Mark said and caressed the younger’s cheek to wipe the tears

Mark crawled up the bed beside Jinyoung and hugged the younger tightly made Jinyoung stirred form his sleep, but the younger just hugged the elder back and went back to sleep. The next morning Jinyoung woke up all alone one the bed. He went to shower and after showering he went to the living room, he saw Mark already changed to outgoing clothes and looked like he was ready to head out

“You’re going out? Meeting Jackson?” Jinyoung asked in a bit sad tone

“Yeah, I’m going out, but not with Jackson… we’re having a date…” Mark said exited

“We?” Jinyoung asked surprised, not understanding the sudden change in Mark

“Yeah, we….” Mark said and smiled brightly

“Where are we going?” Jinyoung asked exited too

“Skateboarding and picnic….”  Mark said and smiled

“But we did it yesterday…” Jinyoung said not really understanding

“Yeah, but…...” Mark started and went to held Jinyoung’s both hands before continuing “I wasn’t a good teacher yesterday… I’m sorry for getting so easily irritated at you and made you fell and have bruises…. but I promise I won’t get irritated this time and I won’t let you fall, even you’re falling, I will catch you…. can you forgive me and will you go to this date with me? I already got everything ready, I even made kimbap so we can have a romantic picnic there….” Mark said and waiting for the younger’s answer

“Yes, I forgive you and I would love to go on this date with you….” Jinyoung said and hugged the elder tightly and Mark hugged Jinyoung back
