29. Stay or Leave! Part 2

 

 

“I’m sorry…...” Jinyoung said and looked down, don’t know how to meet the elder now

 

 

“Sorry? That’s all you have to say? …. Why Jinyoung? Why? What have I done wrong? Why don’t you love me anymore? Why you have to leave me? Tell me…. Look at me Park Jinyoung…...” Mark asked and yelled at the younger

 

 

“Mark-hyung, please listen to me first…. I love you, I do… I…. I just….” Jinyoung said and hesitated for don’t know how he should tell the truth

 

 

“Just what?” Mark asked and Jinyoung had no choice but tell the elder the truth

 

 

FLASHBACK

 

 

“Jinyoung, I really hope you would take this offer. It is a very good chance and you won’t meet good chances like that all the time…” JYP, the university’s principal said and gave a document to Jinyoung

 

 

“I will think about it…” Jinyoung said and bowed to the principal, before heading out of the principal office

 

 

Jinyoung got an offer to study overseas for 4 years with full scholarship. Jinyoung just started studying in JYP University for not so long ago, but he is the top student in his major so he got the offer. The younger haven’t told Mark yet, but he wasn’t sure if he should go or not either. Youngjae told him to take the offer, he said that he and Mark can have a long distance relationship. Jackson said the same and told him that it is a very good offer, but he just doesn’t trust long distance relationships, even he really wanted to take the offer.

 

 

END OF FLASHBACK

 

 

"I didn’t know how to tell you, I haven’t decided yet…” Jinyoung told the elder everything and his tears started to fall

 

 

“But you told all our friends?” Mark asked still a bit shocked of the information he just got from Jinyoung

 

 

“I wanted some advice….” Jinyoung said in low voice

 

 

“So do you love me?” Mark asked, he want to know if Jinyoung still love him

 

 

“Of course I love you, not a single day I lose a bit of love towards you, you are my everything….” Jinyoung said and cried even more and louder

 

 

“Then don’t leave….” Mark started and hugged Jinyoung tightly “I know, it’s selfish of me, but I can’t live without you Jinyoung… it hurts so much… I don’t trust long distance relationships, what if you found someone else over there? I can’t handle that…. I can’t take that risk….” Mark said and cried loudly as well

 

 

“Hyung….” Jinyoung said and hugged the elder back tightly, don’t want to let go at all

 

 

Both of them cried their eyes out and hugged each other tightly to sleep. The next morning, Mark woke up all alone in the bed without Jinyoung. The first thing he thought is that the younger have left him to go study overseas. He shouted out Jinyoung’s name repeatedly, but no answers, he started to cry, he really hopes that this is just a dream

 

 

“Mark-hyung, why are you crying?” Jinyoung ran towards the elder from the bathroom and asked, Mark saw the younger and hugged Jinyoung tightly right away and Jinyoung hugged the elder back

 

 

“I thought you left me, why didn’t you answer me when I shouted your name?” Mark asked angrily, not letting Jinyoung go

 

 

“I was taking a shower…. I didn’t hear you…. I’m sorry….” Jinyoung apologised and Mark finally broke the hug and looked right into Jinyoung eyes

 

 

“I wouldn’t have left with all my belongings here would I? Babo…” Jinyoung said jokily, while he wipes the elder’s tears with his thump. Since the closet was open and all his clothes was there, his bag and PC, books was on the table. There were no signs for him to have left at all, Jinyoung found Mark really cute and called him babo for imaging things

 

 

“I was scared okay…” Mark said and pouted, not liking his boyfriend calling him ‘babo’

 

 

“Fine…. you know what? You always tell me not to pout, but it seems like you have taken over the pouting lips thing…. you’re always the one who’s pouting now….” Jinyoung said and chuckled while he cupped the elders face and kissed Mark on the lips

 

 

“Whatever…. So…. you’re not leaving right?” Mark asked carefully, he really wish for a big yes as an answer from Jinyoung

 

 

“Mhm…. I…. I will tell you tonight….” Jinyoung said, he had already decided if he going to leave or stay, but he doesn’t want to just tell the elder like that, he need to prepare for the worst that can happen when he telling the elder the answer

 

 

“Why can’t you just tell me?” Mark asked impatient, he wants to know now

 

 

“NO… just be patient and wait to tonight okay, please, give me time….” Jinyoung pleaded and the elder had no choice but agree and nodded his head

 

 

“Thanks, you’re an angel….” Jinyoung said and kissed his boyfriend one more time, but this time, he didn’t break it and they had a make out session

 

 

Jinyoung went to his lecture and Mark was at the dorm since he didn’t have any lecture today. He looked at the clock on the wall and it shows 2PM, he really wants the time would go faster and he will get the answer from Jinyoung. But to Mark’s opinion, the clock was standing still not going forwards at all. On the other side, Jinyoung was taking the bus to an another place. He lied to the elder that he had a lecture, but he was actually on the way to meet someone special and important. The night finally came and Jinyoung came back to the dorm meeting Mark sitting at the couch like a stone

 

 

“Hyung…” Jinyoung said and Mark ran towards the younger

 

 

“Your answer….” Mark held both the younger’s hand and said, not even greeting Jinyoung, he wants to know the answer

 

 

“I… I have decided…I will leave…...” Jinyoung said and it made the elder let go of Jinyoung’s hand. Jinyoung then took out a pair of key then gave it to Mark

 

 

“So after all I said last night, you still decide to leave? Even giving me back the dorm key… you’re leave me behind just for go to ing overseas…” Mark cursed and his tears started to fall

 

 

“Yes, I have decided to go to overseas…. but not alone…... I’m going with…. with you….” Jinyoung said with a smile and made Mark widen eyes looking at the younger surprised

 

 

“You are…. leaving with who?” Mark asked surprised, not really understanding what the younger meant

 

 

“I say I will go to overseas with you…. I really wants to go study in LA and it is a really good chance for me…… but I can’t live without you either…. and I don’t really trust long distance relationship when it didn’t work between us before, so I declined the offer and brought two plane ticket to LA with both of our name on. We will go to LA together for a two weeks trip….” Jinyoung explained and Mark smiled widely after hearing the truth that Jinyoung won’t leave him. He hugged Jinyoung tightly and kissed him on the cheek and Jinyoung hugged the elder back

 

 

“Wait….” Mark started and broke the hug “What’s the key for then?” Mark asked the younger while showing the key

 

 

“Look at it, it’s not the dorm key….” Jinyoung said and made Mark look at the key again and it was a pair of key he never seen before

 

 

“I lied to you today… I didn’t have any lecture today, I went to meet mama and papa Tuan. I asked for permission for us to move out to our own home after graduating and they said yes and gave me this key…. they had actually brought an apartment long time ago to you and had actually planned to give it to you as a gift after you graduate….and they were happy for us moving in together in the future…” Jinyoung explained and smiled lovely towards the elder

 

 

“Omg, you scared me….” Mark said and was about to hug Jinyoung again, but the younger stopped him

 

 

“But…” Jinyoung said and looked at the elder

 

 

“But?” Marks said with his eyebrow up, curious for what’s coming after

 

 

“But I won’t live with you unless one condition….” Jinyoung said with a smirk on his face

 

 

“What’s condition?” Mark asked curiously

 

 

“I want that apartment to be our home, the home that only belongs to us… the ones who living there are not just lovers, but also family…” Jinyoung said slowly, trying to hint something to the elder

 

 

“Of course it is our home, we are both family and lovers…” Mark said satisfied, but it made Jinyoung let out a sigh

 

 

“And what make us to become a family?” Jinyoung asked, trying to give a hint again

 

 

“What do you mean Jinyoung-ah, I don’t understand….” Mark asked not understanding Jinyoung’s hint at all

 

 

“Oh come on, are you really a babo hyung? We are not a real family unless we getting married…”  Jinyoung said and looked right into the elder’s eyes

 

 

“Are you proposing to me now?” Mark was shocked and asked Jinyoung

 

 

“I…. I…. omg so embarrassing….” Jinyoung stuttered and buried his face into his palm, don’t want to let Mark see his blushing face that are red like a tomato 

 

 

“Look at me Jinyoung….” Mark started and put down the younger’s hands, made Jinyoung look at Mark “Of course I will marry you, it’s an 100% yes, not even in doubt…but…” Mark said and Jinyoung smiled widely until the ‘but’ came

 

 

“But what?” Jinyoung asked, he scared of something negative would come after the ‘but’

 

 

“But in Korea, same- marriage is not allowed…” Mark said in a worried voice, he was a bit down since he can’t marry Jinyoung in Korea

 

 

“You really scared me there you know….” Jinyoung started and felt relieved after hearing what Mark said after the ‘but’ “Of course I know that we can’t get married here in Korea, that’s why one of the location we will be heading to in LA is our marriage ceremony…” Jinyoung said and held both Mark’s hands with a proud smile

 

 

“Omg, you’re so smart Jinyoung….” Mark said and kissed the younger on the lips before hugging Jinyoung tightly and the younger hugged him back

 

 

“I love you, hyung… I really do….” Jinyoung said and closed his eyes lying on Marks shoulder

 

 

“I love you too, Jinyoung…. Thank you for staying by my side….” Mark said and closed his eyes as well, enjoying each other’s company and their moment together
