“I said no, Tae.”

Taehyung huffed loudly, sad that his puppy eyes had failed him as his girlfriend read her book in front of him. “Can’t I just open one? I mean, it is Christmas eve!” he said with a pout, blinking cutely at her over the top of her book. “Exactly. It’s Christmas eve. You can wait a few more hours until Christmas day.” He sighed dramatically and flopped down beside her, pulling on her sleeve.

“Jagi~” he whined. She sighed and closed her book. “Tae, I’ve read this same line about fifty times. We’re not opening presents until tomorrow morning.” He pouted at her and she couldn’t help but smile at his childlike nature. “Tell you what. How about we make some Christmas cookies instead?”

He perked up, his normal grin spreading over his face. “You mean now? Can we eat them tonight as well?” he asked hopefully. She nodded and he cheered loudly, jumping to his feet. “I’ll get the icing!” he shouted as he ran towards the kitchen, leaving her to giggle and follow after him.
