“I’m your secret Santa.” Yoongi said, looking down at Jungkook who had been playing a game until the older man had appeared beside him. “Hyung, you know the meaning of the word secret right?” he teased. Yoongi rolled his eyes and resisted the urge to cuff the younger boy upside the head. “I’m well aware of the meaning of secret, smartass.” He retorted. “We’ve got a break in our schedule and my gift requires us going somewhere. So get your up and ready to go, we’re leaving in five minutes.” He said, leaving the maknae to scramble into his room to pull on some clothes.

He ran to the door exactly five minutes later, Yoongi already by the door waiting for him. “Let’s go.” He said as he led them down to his car. “Where are we going, hyung?” Jungkook asked curiously as Yoongi started to drive. “It’s nowhere exciting, so don’t expect much.” Jungkook thought about where Yoongi could be taking him. He remembered mentioning that there was a movie out that he wanted to go see, but he didn’t think that Yoongi would enjoy it so he scratched that off his mental list. Shopping? Nah, not at this time of night.

A while later they pulled up in a street that Jungkook had never visited before. “Come on.” Yoongi said as he unclipped his seatbelt and got out of the car, Jungkook quickly following suit. He jogged to catch up with the now black haired man. “Where are we going, hyung?” he asked. “It’s just up here.” He said, nodding his head in the direction they were walking. It was too cold for him to take his hands out of his pockets.

They soon stopped outside of a restaurant and a huge grin spread over Jungkook's face. “I’ve heard of this place!” he said excitedly. “I've heard they’ve got the best lamb skewers in Seoul!” Yoongi smirked. He had spent a long time thinking of what to get the younger boy and even longer researching a place with a good reputation. He pulled out his card and handed it to the younger man. “Go nuts.” He said with a smile, knowing that his idea was perfect. “You know you’re my favourite hyung, right?” Jungkook said making Yoongi laugh. “Hurry up before I change my mind and take my card back.” He threatened playfully. Jungkook laughed before clutching the card tightly in both hands and darting into the restaurant. Yoongi chuckled and shook his head as he followed the younger man into the restaurant, silently gloating in the fact that he was guaranteed to be the best secret Santa that year.
