To say that I fell for Kim Namjoon would be an understatement. I actually literally fell… right into his arms.

It was just before Christmas. I had been working with BTS for a few months by this point but I still didn’t know them very well. I had been charged with decorating the practice room before they recorded a Christmas dance practice video. I had started with the tree, making sure that it was in the perfect spot to be recorded when the boys were dancing.

I had moved onto putting up the lights at the top of the mirrors which was proving to be a major pain in the because although I’m not short, I’m not overly tall either, which meant having to stick up a section of the lights, get off of the ladder I was standing on, move it to the left, go back up the ladder and repeat. I was finally almost finished and I was getting a little tired and lazy so I decided just to try and stretch to stick up the last section of the lights.

I reached out just a little too far and lost my balance. I let out a squeal, half expecting to collide with the floor, but instead I felt a pair of strong arms catch me and pull me against a toned body. I wrapped my arms around my saviour’s neck, my eyes screwed shut. It wasn’t until I heard his familiar chuckle that I dared open my eyes. He was grinning down at me, his dimples out in full force. “Did you just fall for me?” He asked, still holding me in his arms.

And that’s how a set of Christmas lights led to me dating Kim Namjoon…
