“Tae…”

“Yeah, Jagi?”

“You decorated the tree wrong.”

Taehyung pouted at her words as he examined the tree. “What do you mean I decorated it wrong? I think it looks pretty good!” he exclaimed as he pointed to his handiwork. She ran her hand down her face. “Tae, those snowflakes that you’ve put up are made of gingerbread and I’m pretty sure they’ll be past their expiry date in like three days and you put a snowman at the top of the tree! It’s supposed to be a star or an angel at the top.” She said as she turned to face her boyfriend.

He turned to her with a serious expression. “But Jagi, you're my only angel and the only star in my life, how could I put you at the top of the tree?” he said, a wicked grin on his face as he wiggled his eyebrows at her. She burst out laughing at his joke as he wrapped his arms around her waist. “You did this on purpose just so you could say that, didn’t you?” she asked in-between laughs. She grinned at her, proud of himself for perfectly executing his plan. “Come on, you can’t say that it wasn’t cute.” He teased.

She laughed as pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Come on. Help me take those cookies off of the tree before Jin finds out and murders you.” She said as she slipped out of his grasp only to have him wrap his arms around her from behind, resting his head on her shoulder. “Let’s decorate the tree together, Jagi.” He said as she took one of the cookies from the tree and put it in his mouth. “Good idea. God only knows what you'd come up with if I left you to do it again.”

He grinned at her. “Well, I did have this other cool idea, but then I couldn’t find any matches so I had to change it.” She froze, a handful of cookies in her hand. “Matches? You know what? I don’t want to know.”
