"Thorn Noona! How was your audition?" Junhyuk's voice came to her ears before she saw him. He was sitting on the couch with all the other boys sitting around him while Angie was in the kitchen making tea. Noticing this, Thorn sent a confused look to Angie around the corner leading into the kitchen as she entered to which the response was a simple shrug and eye roll.

"Why are you guys still here? Oh yeah Angie I brought someone with me," Angie immediately became a meerkat and tried to look up and over Thorn at the other person who was still behind the wall.

"We wanted to wait for you to see how it went. Who'd you bring with you?" Junhyuk now curious turned his attention away from the TV to the little entrance hall where Thorn was still standing. His eyes grew a little wider when he noticed Giriboy.

"Well, Angie, my one and only roommate that I thought would be the only one here and is why I even invited him, this is Hong Si Young-ah," When the name left her lips Angie abandoned her teapot on the stove and quickly ran the ten steps it took to be able to see into the entrance while the other boys all turned their attention to the two people there. A collective gasp was heard from all of them except for Junhyuk who seemed a bit aggitated at having been basically ignored and made fun of. At least that's what Thorn thought it was.

"Ohmyshisus," Angie's hand flew to which began squealing at the same pitch and dynamic as the teapot on the stove. Thorn went over and removed it from the heat as Angie was practically a useless statue at the moment and poured the hot water into the serving teapot to let the tea steep. For once Thorn was thankful of Angie's habit of making way more tea than was enough since that meant she could offer some to Si Young without having to make more.

"How the hell did you meet Giriboy, Noona?" San looked over at Thorn from his place next to Junhyuk who was still giving Si Young a weird look.

"He helped me find where my audition was and then invited me to lunch and we took a nice long walk to get back, so I invited him for dinner to pay him back. I didn't figure you guys would still be here so I had only planned for three people but I guess I'm going to have to go shopping now... I'm going to need a lot more ground beef and veggies," Thorn opened the fridge just to get an idea of what she had and was almost horrified to find that it was practically empty, save for the ingredients of her bbq sauce.

"So you were looking forward to a dinner date and instead found a dinner party?" Sungwoon put his index finger to his chin and looked up at the high ceilings as if he was deep in thought. He kind of looked like an anime character if Thorn was honest and it made her and Si Young, who had apparently had the same thought, start chuckling. "What? What did I do?"

"Nothing Sungwoon-ah. You just might want to not think so hard, you could really hurt yourself," Thorn and Si Young giggled again. Angie brought herself back to normal and went into the kitchen to fetch the tea for herself and the boys when she heard this exchange figuring that she could catch Thorn for a fangirl moment before she went to the living room.

"So... Giriboy huh? You must have been excited," Angie gave a ridiculous eyebrow waggle and Thorn just lifted one of her own.

"So how was that hangover this morning?" Thorn asked this then raised her voice a bit to garner the others's attention. "San was mysteriously absent from either my room or the common areas this morning! I wonder where he was!"

The boys, excluding Si Young, stifled laughter behind their hands as both Angie and San's faces went red as tomatoes. Thorn swiftly ran back towards the door and grabbed Si Young's hand practically running out. She gave a quick notice that she was going to the store before she ran out the door with Si Young in tow.

"So I guess it was true when you said that HotShot seemed to treat you two like family," Si Young gave her a look that was a cross between worry and  playfulness. It was kind of confusing if she was honest.

"Yeah kind of like the annoying kids that never leave you alone at a family reunion because you're new and apparently cooler because you're older," Thorn laughed and Si Young chuckled. When they were finally out of the building and turned to head towards the store Si Young let go of Thorn's hand and she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. She had really liked the way his hand felt in hers. He walked around behind her trailing his hand on her waist though letting her know that he was still there and simply transferred to the side of the sidewalk nearest the street. Once he had gotten around her though he didn't let go of her waist and simply pulled her a little closer.

"Wouldn't be very chivalrous if I let you walk on the side of the road. Besides what would the world do without your humor if something were to happen?" He was practically whispering it in her ear at this point and it was giving Thorn goosebumps. Si Young's voice was just so y.

"Probably go about as if nothing had happened if we're being honest," Thorn tilted her head away from him and pursed her lips.

"My world would be pretty dark now," Thorn wasn't sure if he had meant to say that out loud or if he was simply talking to himself and decided against responding to it but turned the conversation around on him.

"What do you think would happen if the world lost your amazing talent? I'm pretty sure thousands and thousands of hearts would break and millions would be upset. The music industry would have lost one of the greatest talents to have come out of my generation and we would all mourn for a long time. I don't even think I would be able to listen to your music without crying if something happened to you. Hell I can barely listen to Take Care of You without crying now," Thorn threw her head back and just looked up at the sky completely immersed in her own thoughts. Si Young tugged on her a bit and her head lulled onto his shoulder. He leaned his head on top of Thorns and rubbed a small circle on her back.

"Well don't worry. I'm not going to leave you anytime soon, I promise," Si Young turned his head to plant a light kiss into Thorn's hair.

"You better not," Si Young didn't really understand what that meant but judging by the fact that Thorn nuzzled a bit more into his shoulder he took it for a good sign. The rest of the walk to the store was fairly quiet until Si Young's phone went off alerting him to a text. Apparently Mad Clown's wife needed him at home and he wouldn't be able to be at the studio again until the next day. Mad Clown had apparently threatened Si Young's manhood if he wasn't there on time and ready to actually work. Thorn laughed for a while at this.

"Aniyo! You don't understand Noona, he's actually really violent. He has this really nice stage persona and a really calm demeanor that he shows to the fans and cameras but he's really ing mean!" Thorn laughed harder at the almost horror on his face. It was funnier than anything she had seen that day.

"Arra. I know. That's still funny though that he has to threaten you to work. Aren't you usually a workaholic?" Si Young blushed and scratched the back of his neck.

"Ne, but recently I haven't had any inspiration. I think I finally found some though," He smiled and looked out in front of them.

"Yeah I think threats to my physical being would motivate me too," Thorn laughed again.

"That's not what I meant! Uggghh, you're ridiculous," Si Young shook his head at the still giggling girl in his arm and couldn't help but smile. Her smile was so contagious.

"Ridiculous is kind of in the job description to be a comedian," Thorn smiled so brightly at him it scrunched up her face. She was adorable.

"Yeah I guess it would be. You're lucky you're so cute," He squeezed her a little bit closer to his side and he hoped that she was really getting his point. She had told him at lunch that she was used to skinship since she was from the South in America and that touching was just normal there and there was not really such a thing as personal space. She said that because of that she never really picked up on when people were using it to flirt with her. He really hoped she had gotten how much he already liked her. He really hadn't believed in love at first sight until he met her. There was just something so capturing about her and maybe it wasn't love yet but he definitely didn't want to just be her friend. When she had talked about HotShot and accidently let slip how Junhyuk had kissed her, he was jealous, as much as he hated to admit it. He hated the thought that there was someone that close to her. He had made it his goal to encroach on that relationship today and had been really disappointed when they had been at her apartment. He had really been looking forward to having a nice homemade dinner with her by himself.

"There it is! Finally! That's the one downfall to the apartment it's so far from the store. I really wish those idiots would have let me know that they were staying I would have just gone before we got there. Also, for taking you with me, mianhe. I figured you might have felt weird being left with six guys you don't know and a squealing fangirl," Thorn rubbed her hands in front of her face while cringing. Si Young simply chuckled and pulled her towards him again to kiss her forehead making her blush.

"It's fine. I would much rather spend my time with you anyways," Si Young's smile widened when he saw the shy smile on Thorn's face.

"You say that now. In a week I bet you'll be annoyed with me," Thorn scoffed and he lost his smile.

"I don't think I could ever find you annoying. You're far too adorable," Thorn simply laughed at him.

"You seem to underestimate my ability, Hong Si Young-ssi. I'd bet almost anything you'll be annoyed with me," Thorn caught sight of a mischevious smirk that crossed his face at her words. He let go of her waist and faced her as they came to the entrance of the store.

"Call. If I'm not annoyed with you in a week you have to grant me a wish and if I am annoyed after a week then I'll have to grant your wish but you can't purposely try to be annoying. You have to just be yourself and treat me like you do any of your other friends. Sound good?" Si Young his hand towards her. He knew he was going to win. After a moment of thought Thorn extended her hand to shake his hand. She already knew her wish and was pretty sure if she won he was going to be very reluctant.

"Call. I hope you're prepared. Most people can't deal with being too close to me," Thorn laughed and Si Young gave her a gummy smile.

"There's nothing I'd like more than to be close to you."

A/N So I really liked writing this chapter and I know parts of it seemed like I was rushing their interactions but I really want to get right to the quick of it honestly....
