Chapter VII: My Feeling For You

"Ahreum-ah, is it okay for me to stay by your side?"

My heart pounds loudly and I swear even he can hear it.

Is it okay?

Do I want to stay by his side?

Hell yes.

But a little part of me still in doubt (I know, blame my jerk ex boyfriend and my trust issue)

"I'm still not sure about relationship or anything..." I said while looking at my shoes.

He cupped his hands on my face and tilted it until I look at him again, "I know, and I wont pushed you to accept me. But I just want you to know that I'm no longer feeling sad when I come home because you keep me smiling the whole day and it's enough to fight my loneliness." He says softly.

"There are some days when my mind's wandering to you and I keep asking myself why do I feel this way. And now, I think I get the answer."

He let go his hand and look at me in the eyes, his eyes piercing me with honest emotion.

"I love you, Ahreum-ah."

And.... I think I'm forget to take my breath.

Oh. My. Goodness.

"And I'll wait. I'll wait until you're ready to answer my question. But please, don't push me away because of my confession. I just cant take another farewell." He smiled sadly.

And that smile breaks me as much as it breaks him.

Without thinking, I shorten the distance between us and hug him, burrying my face in his chest.

I sighed, "You don't have any idea how you have this weird effect on me, Bogum-ssi. It's so strange that I'm nearly convinced that there's something wrong with my head."

The sounds of his laughter makes me smile.

"But... I can't answer your question or your confession right now because my heart is still in a broken pieces and it wont be fair for you. Will you still wait for me, then?"

"Of course, Ahreum-ah. You're worth the waiting." He smiled lopsidedly.

"Do you really mean it?"

He nod, his perfect lips is smiling.

Damn. Have I told you that I love his smile?

"Thank you, Bogum-ssi." I whispered softly, still wrapping my arms on him.

We stay like that for a while, when suddenly..

"But you'll answer it soon, right?" He joked.

"Oh my god, so demanding!" I rolled my eyes.

He laughs heartily, "I was kidding. Take all the time that you need, Ahreum-ah."

Then he look at me with his kind eyes and charming smile. God, I'm in love with that smile.

And at that sight, I smiled back at him.

Happily knowing that his smile is mine.

As I feel her arms around me, I can't help but grinning so wide. Silly, I know.

But that's what happened when you fall in love.

She didn't said that she loves me but that hug explains more than enough.

Enough to make me wait for her.

We have all the time in the world, Ahreum-ah.

"Oh you're already awake?" Jieun say while eating her cereal.

I nod and yawn widely, "What time is it?"

She glances at the clock, "8 a.m." she says while her eyes still focusing on the screen.

"I think 8 a.m is still too early for drama, Jieun-ah."

"Ssshh. Be quiet. I didn't catch the last episode so I need to watch the encore."

I poured a glass of milk and sit beside her.

Of course she is watching his drama.

I never watch his drama but I'm kind of curious so I watch it anyway.

And that's when he's having a kiss scene.

Whoa.

My phone vibrated and I look at the message.

Good morning, Ahreum-ah.

Morning, Bogum-ssi.

What are you doing?

Watching your drama. Nice kiss, btw.

I just choked up on my orange juice.

I laugh when another message comes.

Are you jealous?

Nope :)

It was in the script, or... do you want me to kiss you too?

Whaaaat? I shake my head and laughing.

"Here we go again, creepy Ahreum is come." Jieun commented.

"Shut up" I laugh, "just focus on your drama."

I know it is part of your job, and I wasn't complaining. (I'm going to ignore the last part)
