Yuna doesn't know, but Eunbi watches her every day. Eunbi still does care about her. Although at times, Eunbi wonders why she is doing all these and if Yuna still even cares about her.
Every single day, Eunbi is watching over Yuna. Yuna might think that she has lost Eunbi, but Eunbi has found her new secret area. It used to be the bench at the basketball court. Now, it has shifted to the cedar tree at the school garden. Sometimes Eunbi jokes with herself that Yuna's choice of a location is convenient, because she can see Yuna clearly from upstairs and can watch her without the fear of being noticed. She finds that Yuna spends lunchtime there, and sometimes for a while in the morning to get a quick nap before lessons start. Eunbi notices how Yuna has purposely randomised the time she comes to school, and it makes her heart ache- does she really not want to see her that much?
Every day after school, Eunbi would go up to the fourth floor where all the twelfth-grade classrooms are located on and find herself standing outside of Yuna's classroom, her eyes peering in through windows and fixated on the older girl she really misses. Eunbi doesn't feel the pain anymore, even though it tugs onto her heart that they've drifted apart. She's been used to it. She doesn't know why she wants to spend a whole hour standing outside and watching Yuna; her legs ache, her body turns stiff, and apart from time she wastes her energy that can actually be spent on getting some homework done. Sometimes it seems very pointless and doesn't make sense to her either.
She hates Yuna. She hates Yuna for making it seem like she does have a sister again, then letting her fall back into her lonely world. Slowly she's been reverting back to the girl who never smiles, as all her energy and strength to live on are slowly draining away from her: she has lost her sole motivation to live. She hates Yuna for leaving her, because Yuna has a choice, but has chosen the option to abandon her.
Nevertheless, they are still sisters. Yuna is still her sister. Her heart finds her way back to Yuna, regardless of how far apart they are.
It is the eighteenth time that Eunbi is repeating her routine of watching Yuna, then running down the stairs as soon as Yuna is done with her studying and all the way to the bus stop to catch a bus before Yuna catches one.
It's been a long time. Eunbi has had enough. Regardless of how annoyed she is and of how much she hates Yuna for this, Yuna is still her sister.
And if Yuna cannot do something about this, then Eunbi will do it herself.
Eunbi sighs. The time has come for her to face it. Steadily she climbs up the stairs to the fourth floor and walks over to Yuna's classroom with a heavily thumping heart.
She sees Yuna alone in her dark classroom, just as she has expected.
Bravely, she walks up to the door. This time, she won't just be watching from the window. Silently turning the door knob, she real
