Episode 11.
Days with You"Choi Yuna ssi!" Yuna steps out of her classroom during lunch break only to be stunned by two schoolmates she isn't actually familiar with.
"Ah, Jung Chaeyeon ssi, Ahn Eunjin ssi," she nods her head in courtesy as she greets. She then looks down at them to see the two girls covered in bruises all over their limbs, and furrows her eyebrows in confusion. "Did something happen?" she asks in concern.
"Could we sit down and talk for a while?" Chaeyeon asks, pointing to inside of her classroom. Yuna nods, despite the puzzlement she feels inside.
"Hey, I told Somin to stop bothering you now that you're not on good terms with your sister," Eunjin says once they are seated down at Yuna's desk.
"And that she's got what she's wanted," Chaeyeon mutters without facing Yuna.
"What?" Yuna's jaw drops, unable to comprehend what she has just been told. She then looks down, and her eyes fall on the fresh scars on the arms of the two girls before her.
Chaeyeon notices and immediately reasons, "We're okay now, we talked it out with Somin last week."
Yuna can only nod silently in response.
"The long story goes like this," Eunjin starts to explain, "I've been her friend since the start of middle school and I've never seen her so hideous till we met you in tenth grade. I knew you were the Choi Yuna she was always telling me about.
"You were the only other girl in the orphanage, as you might have known?" Eunjin tilts her head as she asks.
Yuna ponders, and nods. "Actually, I've always thought that Somin hates me because I got adopted and left her alone there," Yuna furrows her eyebrows as she answers.
"That's... Half the truth," Chaeyeon answers with some negativity in her voice.
"After you were adopted, there was a change in the management of the orphanage- the previous principal passed away and a new one was brought in. This principal was cruel, especially towards Somin who was the only girl left there. As a very young child, she naturally grew to have a grudge against you," Eunjin speaks apologetically. "The principal would-"
"No," Yuna cuts her off roughly, "I don't want to know." Yuna's mouth has been left agape the whole time due to disbelief. Slowly, she feels a lone tear roll down her left cheek.
Yuna watches as each of her classmate walk off before she is finally left alone in her classroom. She switches the light off, and closes the classroom doors. For some reason she locks them too, hoping that she will be completely kept away from disturbance. With the sunlight shining into the room through the windows, she sits quietly at her desk and tries to study. This has been her daily routine after school for about a week now, as the college entrance exams are nearing yet h
