The sun rays that crept into the room through the window woke Donghae up from his deep slumber and his lips practically twitched up forming a smile once his eyes landed on his beautiful wife who was still sleeping soundly. Pulling her closer into his arms, he stared at her adoringly, couldn’t get enough of her beauty – she looked even more beautiful when she was pregnant.

Brushing her bangs off her face, his touch made her stir in her sleep as she scrunched up her face. From laying on her side facing Donghae, she turned over and laid on her back instead, changing her sleep position. That was when Donghae's eyes caught the baby bump that was clearly formed on her tummy. She was twenty weeks pregnant now and since she was carrying twins, her tummy looked bigger than any woman who was pregnant with one child.

Donghae smiled as his hand now was placed on her tummy. He couldn't help but giggle softly when he felt a baby kick against his palm right after he placed his hand on it. What a great start to a new day. He wondered, though, which one of the babies was kicking. 

He got up and leaned his face over to her bulging tummy with a wide smile plastered on his face. "Good morning, babies. You guys woke up early today," he said to the twins in the tummy while rubbing his hand against it. Then he felt a kick and another kick followed right after and he couldn’t help but chuckled at the fact that he got responses from the twins. The twins probably heard him. From what the doctor told him, babies' hearings developed at around twenty weeks. 

"Did you guys sleep well last night?" he asked then he felt a kick again. He giggled. "Ahh, so you slept well. Do you like the pickles appa bought for you last night?" he asked as he remembered how Minhee had disturbed his sleep last night just to ask him to buy her pickles. Then again, he felt a kick again. "I'll take that as a yes" Donghae laughed then kissed the spot where he felt the kick earlier. "You guys are so cute. Come out quickly, okay? Appa misses you guys so much" He caringly caressed her tummy and for the nth time, he felt a kick again. He laughed softly, oblivious that now Minhee, who had woken up because of the baby kicks, was watching him while smiling. While Donghae was conversing with the babies, that was when she remembered the first time both of them felt a baby kick which happened just a few days ago.

FLASHBACK

Minhee was alone in the house since Donghae had dance practices that night. She was watching Lee Minho's drama like usual every night when suddenly she felt a weird feeling in her stomach, almost like butterflies were flying around, making her attention to the drama turned to her swollen tummy.

"What the hell?" She, in bewilderment, placed her hand on her tummy and right after that she felt something move from inside on the spot where she placed her hand on. Her eyes widened but then her lips slowly curled into a smile. "Are you trying to kick there, babies?" She rubbed the spot where she had felt the kick just now. In answer, there was another little kick. "Oh yep, you are!" she squeaked in surprise. Then she giggled. That was when she heard the sound of the door passcode being pounced filled the atmosphere and not long after that, Donghae came to her sight.

"Oppa!" she greeted him with a big smile as Donghae approached her. Settling down his duffle bag on the floor, he took a seat beside her on the couch and gave her a side-hug. 

"Why do you look so happy? Is it because of that guy?" Donghae averted his gaze to the television and gave a brief glare at Lee Minho who right on time appeared on the television screen, before he turned back to his wife.

“Aniyo!” she denied, still having a big smile on her lips as she grabbed his hand and set it on her tummy.

"What are you doing?" he asked, confused.

"Shh, just wait," she told him.

After about five seconds, she felt little flutters again. "Did you feel that?"

Donghae's eyes widened and he nodded. "Wha-?"

"I think our babies are kicking!" she exclaimed happily. "Our babies are kicking, oppa," she repeated. Happiness was evident on her face and in her voice.

Donghae's face broke into a grin, his hand still on her tummy. "Daebak! When did it first kick?"

"A few seconds before you came back home," she stated, still with her excited voice.

Then Donghae felt a kick again and he squeaked in surprise before he laughed. "Oh my god," he said then leaned over to her tummy. "Annyeong, kids. Don't be so naughty, okay? Take care of yourself in there," he said to her tummy and caressed it caringly. "I love you."

"Love you too," Minhee said with a small and cute voice, unlike her usual voice, and Donghae looked at her in amusement upon hearing that. She chuckled. "Just imagine that's our babies’ voice."

With that, Donghae laughed. Then he pulled his face away from her tummy and leaned over to her face before he planted a chaste kiss on her lips. "I love you."

"Love you too." This time, she said those words with her usual voice.

END OF FLASHBACK

The flashback ended the moment she felt something soft on her lips. She looked up only to see her husband's handsome face smiling at her. 

"Good morning, yeobo~" 

"Good morning, jagi~"

Then, he leaned over and kissed her softly on the lips. She gladly kissed him back, lovingly. Both of them were giving each other a very good morning kiss which they always shared every morning.

Once the kiss broke off, he lied down back and pulled her into his arms as she was now burying her face in his chest, inhaling his manly scent, while Donghae buried his face in her hair, inhaling the strawberry scent
