[DO OR DIE 두어다이] ep.3 [ENG SUB] #v:episodes #v:subbed 231 notes meeniemoe Man the judges are really being overly harsh this week. I thought all those performances were fine. Inshik's voice is fine, everyone's dancing is fine, stop being mean to the contestants just to create drama.

Oh boy. Strap in folks we're doing this thing again. Oh man I really hate survival shows but I keep watching them anyway. I am part of the problem. Existential crises aside, let's do this.
The opening was pretty good, you could tell the choreo was kept simple so everyone could follow it, especially the last group and some of them still messed up. I saw you Yeonin. I'm honestly surprised Inho made it into the first group, which was obviously some of the generally better dancers, considering how bad he was for his own team's performance. And he wasn't good here either. I guess every dance group needs a bad one so that we can appreciate the good ones?? Silver lining??? Daaamn Yoonshik was feeling it though, he was the silver lining in the third group.
Okay so team Kyungtaek aka the plight of Inho. Yoonshik was really getting on my nerves here, he was just so negative the entire time. I'd just started to appreciate your dancing skills and then this happens. Kyungtaek was the leader but it didn't really seem like he lead very much. You'd think as a manager he'd know how to. It was nice to see the friendship of Inho and Hanjin in action, they really seem to be good friends and support each other. Hugo didn't get a lot of screentime this episode, I wonder why. Are they afraid he'll be too much for the Korean audience? Or do they just not know what to do with him? Either way he did good mixing the song and he seemed to work hard to fit in during the performance. Daebak was kind of a mess, fantastic dancer but that accent isn't doing him any favours.
Overall I thought their performance was good. There were some cracks, and nobody performs it like BTS of course, but I like how they made it a mash up and added a dance solo intro to differentiate it. I thought the judges were too harsh on them but what can you do?
I have serious respect for team Yeonin who saw that what they were doing wasn't working and took the risk to change everything, and I will fight Seona. Changui has some good ideas in the pretty head of his I'll give him that. that he didn't get any lines but he took one for the team and I can respect that too. Yeonin is another dancing black hole, geez, but they worked
