~Luhan~

His chest hurt, his lungs burned, his body ached from not running in so long. But yet he didn’t care; all that mattered was that he finds Baekhyun and he finds him soon. Him, Sehun, and Haruka stop when a black pickup truck stops in front of them all of a sudden.  The window rolls down to reveal Jongin in the driver seat with Yixing in the passenger seat. Sehun only nods at them before forcing Haruka and Luhan into the car. They take off again following directions that Yixing gave. Haruka sat in her seat just fidgeting with her hands.

“Thank you for remembering about the tracker on his phone Yixing.” She states, speaking softer than normal. The mentioned male only nods before stating that the tracker states they have arrived. Luhan stops them before anyone can come out.

“I think only Haruka and I should go in. This is our family and they have a soft spot for Haruka. They won’t let anyone hurt her.” The others nod in response as the two climb out of the truck and in a quick pace enter the building. Haruka carries her head high with her back straight as they entered the Byun building, the building that she runs. She strides to the elevators with Luhan before hitting the down button. There is only one place that Baekhyun could be right now and that is down in the basement with their family and Cristofano; her only hope is that they have not harmed him beyond repair. Hold on we’re coming Baek. The elevator dings to announce it’s arrival and the siblings step inside before Haruka inserts a keycard into the door and they descend down 200 feet below ground. When they said basement it was not quite the right term- it was more like a system of caves holding different types of people; meant for them to go insane down below. When the sound echoes to alert them of the arrival before the door opens all the siblings can do is take a deep breathe before stepping out into the echoing walls barely illuminated by candle sconces along the wall. Waiting outside of the cave holding Baekhyun is Minah and her sister Ashley. Ashley smiles as she faces Luhan and Haruka before pulling Haruka into a tight hug and whispering softly into her ear.

“Hello Haruka. It has been so long; despite the circumstances I do wish we can become best friends again.” Haruka only nods before letting her go and sighing deeply. The two sisters step aside to allow passage to the siblings as Luhan and Haruka steel themselves for what horrors they may find. Luhan bites his bottom lip slightly as they find Baekhyun curled up in a corner of the cave; bloodied and littered with cuts along his arms and legs. The rope use to bind him dug too deep into his skin- possibly cutting his circulation off. Cristofano stepped forward as his dad and Luhan’s dad stood in front of Baekhyun. He held his hand out and Haruka shook it gently.

“Look whatever Chanyeol may have done and said during that song; we had no knowledge of. All we were told was that it was a song written by Kim Jongdae for a confession he wished to do to Haruka.” Luhan said as Haruka tries to step closer to Baekhyun. The other three males nod slowly; taking in the words. Luhan gasps softly as Haruka gets onto her knees and bows down; something that she has not done since taking over the Byun’s.

“Please do not punish Baekhyun and give me my cousin back. He has only been faithful to Cristofano and that matter will never change. Cris was his first love, his first boyfriend, his first kiss, and his first time. We are currently in negotiations with the Kims as you may know since Cristofano has suddenly expressed no desire for this marriage to continue further as Baekhyun will not be able to fulfill the circumstances.” Luhan watched as his dad paced to Haruka before pulling her up.

“I am proud of you for coming to your senses and being able to handle this change of situations. However if Baekhyun will not be punished then you have no choice but to punish the Park boy for attempting to destroy a marriage that was not known to the public may not happen.” Haruka nods slowly before breathing in deeply.

“I will deal with the Park boy. Just let Baekhyun go home with Luhan to clean up and I will go back with the Kim’s and Wu’s to meet with Chanyeol.” Their dad looks at Cristofano and Cristofano’s dad before all three nod in agreement.  Luhan rushes over to Baekhyun and helps him up gently. Haruka stares at the tears streaming down the boy’s pale skin; mixing in with his blood before she turns around and walks out. Luhan follows behind her with Baekhyun and they head up to the lobby. Luhan carries Baekhyun out to the car and sets him in the backseat so he may lie across Sehun and him. Luhan only plays with Baekhyun’s hands set near his chest; attempting to ignore the fact that he is so close to Sehun. Haruka stares at Yixing before she states the one thing that everyone wished to not hear.

“Kai take me back to Chanyeol. I must deal with him, I promise I will leave him alive as he is our friend and also an ally of the Byun’s.” Kai only nods before dropping her off in front of Chanyeol’s house after a few minutes. She smiles sadly before turning around and walking to the front door. Luhan taps on Kai’s shoulder and he only looks at Haruka for one more second before driving away and stopping in front of Luhan’s house. They all scramble out while holding Baekhyun gingerly. Sehun carries him inside while Yixing leads the way with Luhan’s keys to open the door. Luhan looks around tentatively- he could not help the feeling that something may happen that may not end well for the friend group. He could only look down as he turns around and heads into the house; praying to every god that may exist that Haruka goes easy on Chanyeol and only talks to him.
