King [Taoris]

ay was feeling a mix of emotions as Yifan fought off the werewolves.

For one, he felt grateful.

Yifan had shown up just in time to get them out of a very sticky situation.

He also felt annoyed....very annoyed.

He felt like a freaking damsel in distress watching her knight beat up the bad guys. Jay was also annoyed that he couldn't protect Tao. This was another thing Yifan could do but not him.

Yifan was perfect for Tao. No matter how Jay looked at it, it was like the two were born for each other. Yifan knew Tao like the back of his hand. He knew everything about him. Hell, he probably knew Tao better than Tao knew himself. And for some reason, that left a bitter taste in his mouth.

Jay just watched, in the safety of Yifan's side as the golden dragon created a ring of fire around them.
Jay turned to see Tao looking elated. There was this glow in him that wasn't there before. His hand was on Yifan's side, as if he couldn't stand another second of not touching the older male.

In the matter of seconds, more werewolves appeared and Yifan was being surrounded.

"Get on!"

Jay flinched when he heard a deep, growling voice. He saw Tao clamber onto the dragon's back, dragging Evani up with him. Nuri was up in the matter of seconds, leaving only Jay on the ground.

"JAY!" Tao yelled as he motioned for the werewolf.

Jay just stood there staring as Yifan spread his wings.

"JAY PLEASE."

Jay's heart ached as he ignored Tao's yells for him. Instead he shifted into a wolf, turning so he was facing the alpha.

Yifan was also staring the alpha down, his red eyes seemed to bore into the black wolf's own dark orbs.

Jay was about to leap at the alpha when the black wolf started to twitch. Jay watched with amazement as the alpha pawed the ground, clearly uncomfortable. His head was snapping in all directions, his teeth clenching as if he was fighting something from the inside.

Yifan's gaze got stronger as he raised his body, standing up at his full height, looking down at the werewolves by his feet.

The alpha was the top dog (no pun intended.) He was the one who everyone answered to. Jay was ready to fight against his wolf instincts and attack his alpha for Tao. But obviously, Yifan's got that covered.

For the first time, the alpha bowed his head. Against his will though. Yifan was  trying to pull the same trick he used on Jay when they were fighting.

Although no one succeeded in making the alpha submit, Yifan seemed pretty damn close. Jay watched, his mouth wide open with surprise as the alpha shifted back into human.

Yifan had done it. He made the alpha submit. Tao seemed to understand this because he was cheering and hugging the dragon's neck.

Jay sighed in defeat as he morphed back into human, climbing on Yifan's back.

"Hang on."

Jay tightened his hold on Yifan's golden scales as the dragon flapped his wings. In seconds they were in the air, the werewolf village slowly shrinking.

Jay turned to see the alpha staring at him.

Although he closed off his mind link, Jay knew what the alpha was telling him. He only wished he didn't.

Tao couldn't not stop grinning

Tao couldn't not stop grinning. Yifan had flown a good distance before he landed, letting Evani and Nuri slid off. Jay jumped off as well before Yifan morphed back into his human state.

Tao couldn't even wait for Yifan to get back on two feet. He tackled the taller male. Yifan laughed out loud as Tao straddled him, pressing desperate kisses on his lips.

"I love you, I love you, I love you. Don't let me leave you again." Tao said, panting as he continued placing loving kisses all over Yifan's face.

Yifan chuckled as Tao calmed down, finally connecting their lips one last time before resting his head on Yifan's chest.

Yifan wrapped his arms around Tao, holding him close. He held him tightly, trying to make up for the two weeks they've been apart.

Tao was feeling sleepy. Now that all the danger has passed and he was in Yifan's arms again, he could rest in peace. He couldn't sleep for the past two weeks. He would toss and turn, desperately wishing that Yifan was by his side.

Yifan felt the same way, and now that he and Tao were reunited, his body was slowly shutting down, exhausted from all the sleepless nights.

"Um....Prince Yifan?"

Yifan's head snapped to the side when he heard someone say his name.

Nuri was standing a few ways next to them, his arm around Evani. Yifan pulled himself up, but kept his arms wrapped around Tao. He stared at the werewolf couple as Tao stood flushed against his front.

"Yes? And you are...."

Nuri and Evani bowed, "I am Nuri and this is my mate Evani. We wanted to help King Junmyeon. Unfortunately, our alpha doesn't agree with us and now we are rouges....."

Evani gulped as she squeezed Nuri's hand, which was on her waist, "We were wondering if we could stay with you. We are excellent workers and could help cook or clean or whatever you need us to do."

Tao froze for a couple seconds, leaving the couple uneasy.

But the younger male smiled widely before walking out of Yifan's embrace. He held his arms out wide as he hugged the surprised werewolves.

"You guys are so silly! You think I'll let you do maids' work? You're my friends....and my friends are my family. You can stay for as long as you want, no payment required."

Evani grinned, her once worried face melting into one of pure excitement. She squealed as she wrapped her arms around Tao's waist, picking him up and spinning him as she laughed.

Tao yelled in surprise and Yifan couldn't help but laugh himself.

All was well, as long as he had Tao by his side.

Jay clenched his fist subconsciously as he watched Tao make himself comfortable on Yifan

Jay clenched his fist subconsciously as he watched Tao make himself comfortable on Yifan.

The five of them settled in an open meadow as night fell. Nuri gathered a bunch of wood and was about to strike a match when Yifan flicked a finger.

In a milisecond, the wood caught on fire and blazed brightly. Evani grinned as she moved closer to the warm flames, leaning against Nuri.

Tao laid out a sleeping bag, letting Yifan crawl in first and then squeezing himself in as well. The bag wasn't wide enough for the both of them so Tao opted on laying on top of Yifan.

Jay watched as Tao rested his chin on Yifan's chest, their mouth centimeters apart. Nuri and Evani drifted off, leaving Jay awake and alone.

Tao and Yifan were in their own world, whispering and laughing quietly.

Jay tore his gaze away from the couple. His heart hurt too much and he couldn't bare looking at them.

Werewolves get easily attached and Jay wasn't surprised that he was so enthralled by the raven haired prince.

But what scared him was that he was starting to really like the younger male.

Dare he say it....love.

He couldn't help himself. Tao was just so....Tao. He was kind, beautiful, funny and he cared. Maybe not as much was Jay wanted him to be he cared. He had a weird sense of humor and Jay couldn't help but love his crazy laugh either.

It seemed like Tao was flawless.

Expect for one thing.

He was taken by someone else.

Tao loved Yifan not Jay.

Tao thought Yifan was perfect, not Jay.

Tao would die for Yifan, but not for Jay.

Jay sighed as he took a quick peek at the couple.

He wished he hadn't.

Tao had his eyes closed, his lips attached to Yifan's.

They shared a slow kiss. One full of passion and love.

Jay could tell from just a quick glance that they really, truly loved each other.

But Jay couldn't look away.

Tao pulled away, his eyes half lidded and his lips still brushing against Yifan's.

Jay could hear Tao's slow breathes. He could see Yifan's smile. He averted his eyes as Tao leaned down for another kiss. But he could hear their lips smacking together.

Curse his werewolf hearing.

He was doing his best to ignore it but then he heard it.

A small gasp, a hitch in Tao's breath, an almost inaudible moan.

A normal human wouldn't have heard it but Jay did. He didn't want to look but he did.

He could see Yifan's hands underneath the sleeping, making their way down Tao's back, going lower and lower. Jay could see Yifan's lips attached to the younger's neck.

All the more reasons to show that Tao wasn't Jay's. That Tao would never be Jay's.

Chapter 3: I wanted to tell you that you messed up the kingdoms, author-nim. First, you said that Tao is the west kingdom's prince. But now in this chapter you wrote Tao and his brothers are from the east kingdom. I hope you'll read it again. I'm getting confused.
