The young detective was drinking his cup of coffee while staring at the falling raindrops outside the glass window.

Even though he’s turning 29 years old this year, Kyuhyun can still be considered young. Well, at least that what he think of himself.

Kyuhyun spaced out and just about to wander to the conversation that he had with his mother lately about his unmarried life when suddenly his smartphone rings. Not even bother to read the caller ID, he just pick up the call.

“K’s here” He simply stated.

He intensely listens to what are the person on the other line are telling him whilst jotted down the information about the new case he’s assigned to.

“Alright then, I’ll be there in 15 minutes” He said and ended the call.

It was his partner, Sungmin who called him. He told Kyuhyun that they’ve got a new murder case but he can’t be there by today as something important came up, so he asked Kyuhyun a favour to be there instead. He gave Kyuhyun the address and said he’ll make it up for him later.

He grumpily stood up from his desk and grabbed his keys and coat before head out from the office. He was not usually this grumpy, but raining in the middle of autumn and the new case he got has totally stepped down on his mood.

“Why do people still have a need to kill in this ty weather?” Kyuhyun scoffs on the way to his car.

He arrived earlier than he promised. He was informed that the murder take place in a grand looking kitchen in an expensive apartment. This fact actually made his mood lighter, because the murder scene was nothing like what he imagined it to be which is muddy, sloppy and dirty due to the rain.

A police officer greeted him at the front door of the apartment when he was just about to enter.

“What we’ve got here?” he asked with a low voice, obviously showing the other that he is the person in charge.

“Two victims, both are males” The officer answered him.

He said nothing to that and just strutted closer to the kitchen.

True enough, the first thing he saw when he came into the kitchen is two bodies on the floor.

The one who seemed taller died with his eyes wide open and his chest and abdomen is full of stabbed wounds, half of his upper body were leaned against the kitchen’s island.

And the other one was lies on his left side in a curled position. His brunette hair makes the red colour of blood that was oozing from the injuries on his head more prominent. Kyuhyun feels like he had seen this smaller corpse before, but he couldn’t remember where and when.
