FlashlightRight when I walked through the gates, I spotted her talking to her friend that was with her at the club.
"Yah, what's wrong?" her friend analyzes her.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"Yah, your eyes are totally swollen. Have you been crying??"
"Oh! It's nothing, I was just up watching dramas," Chaerin let out a laugh. But for some reason, something tells me she was lying, and that dramas was not the case.
After talking some more, they both went their own ways and she started walking towards my way. I wanted to call her name to get her attention but there was something about her that wasn't right.
The way how she is so daze and out of it, she looked so lost and troubled. The her now was totally different than the her just a moment ago.
Without another though, I immediately followed behind her.
After a while of following her, we end up at the park.
"Hey," I said as I plotted myself down on the swing next to hers.
"What are you doing here?" she glares at me with her glossy bloodshot eyes.
"I guess you really didn't see me when you walked out of campus, huh?"
"How long have you been following me?"
"Ever since I saw a short girl wandering out of campus."
This probably ticked her off because she suddenly stood up. And without thinking, I grabbed onto her wrist. "I was just playing with you, cheer up."
"Huh?"
"Sit," I said, pulling her back down to sit on the swing.
"Why did you follow me?" she asked, without looking up at me as she digs her feet into the woodchips, making a little empty spot under her feet.
"Why did you lie to your friend?"
"What are you talking about?" she suddenly stops and looks up at me.
"You know, you're easy to read, right?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," was all she said before she stared playing with the wood chips again.
"You know, sometimes it's better to talk it out with people than to keep it in."
After sitting in silence with Chaerin at the park for a while, I had to come back to meet up with the boys and so we went our own separate ways. I
