First CF 

Boom.

The sound of Jiyong’s water dropping onto the floor, as his jaw dropped from the scene in front of him. Today he was supposed to be doing a chocolate commercial with another star. But now that he was here in the studio, he didn’t think he could do it.

The other star that he was supposed to be working was the one and only Im Yoona, the one who had rejected him only days ago.

Jiyong turned to find his manager, hoping he could convince another Big Bang member to film the commercial. As he went on his quest he ran into the PD, who told him to change into his costume. Sighing in defeat, Jiyong did as he was told.

Half an hour later, he was standing on the set next to Yoona, looking very uncomfortable. The PD was instructing them on what they were supposed to do. “Yoona-ssi while you are running around, Jiyong-ssi will be chasing after you in the house. Soon he will corner you down. That’ll be it for the first scene.” As the PD said this Jiyong took his time to drink in the sight of Yoona in her graphic t-shirt, and her skinny jeans. She was dressed simple yet he still felt she created a alluring image, she was definitely a walking model. He was dressed in a similar fashion, they were after all supposed to be a couple in the scenes.

Suddenly, he felt someone nudging him, he looked up, and everyone was staring at him. “huh?”

The PD answered, “I asked if you’re ready, if you are please go to your position.”

Jiyong nodded with a tinge of pink on his cheeks, ducking his head as he heard Yoona giggling at him. How embarrassing, on my first day no less. Now Yoona will think even less of me. Quickly he ran over to his position, as soon as Jiyong heard the word “action” the professionalism in him came out. No longer nervous, he did exactly as he was told by the PD.

“Perfect! So for the next part Jiyong-ssi you’re going to stare deep into Yoona-ssi’s eyes like you’re going to kiss her while Yoona-ssi you’re trying to protect the chocolate that’s in your hands. Jiyong-ssi as you lean in closer, you smirk, then you steal away her chocolate whispering in her ear, ‘Mine.’ Then you run off to eat your chocolate. During this whole time Yoona-ssi, you close your eyes tightly as if you’re expecting a kiss.” The PD informed them.

Jiyong gulped just at the thought of being so intimate with the other woman. Sure his been in plenty of intimate positions with other woman for CFs, but he never liked any of them so that was never a problem. Walking closer to her, he could tell she was nervous as well. He breathed a sigh of relief; at least he wasn’t the only one.

“Action.”

That was his cue to start, stepping forward he cornered Yoona into the wall. As he leaned into her couldn’t help but stare at those luscious pair of lips. They looked full and red from Yoona’s constant chewing on it, he had to wonder if they were as soft as they looked. Upon remembering why he was even in such a position, he darted his eyes towards her doe like eyes. They were staring back at him with such intensity he couldn’t help but look away. It was like she could see into his soul. Almost as if she knew he’s darkest and deepest secrets.

“Cut!” The PD yelled out. Walking towards the two singers he told them. “Jiyong-ssi please don’t look away, you’re supposed to keep your eyes on Yoona-ssi the entire time. Yoona-ssi great intensity, but I think you’re scaring Jiyong-ssi with it, so dial down a little. Ne?”

Seeing their nods the PD went back to his original position.

“Action”

Staring back into her eyes, Jiyong gulped, before moving his hand reaching for the chocolate bar in her hand. It was without success, her grip on it was too tight. She’s strong for someone so tiny.

“Cut.” Shaking his head, the PD walked over again. “Yoona-ssi I know you like food, but you’re supposed to let Jiyong have it. Jiyong-ssi this time you were better, and try to your lips as you’re reaching for the bar.”

After several more failed attempts at the scene, the PD finally gave up telling the two main leads to take a break and bond a little. So here they were, sitting across from each other in awkward silence. Jiyong opened his mouth to speak only to close it, he tried several more times without success.

Yoona looked at him in wonderment. “Soooo… what do you think the PD meant by telling us to ‘bond a little’” She spoke up without really looking at him.

She must think I look like an idiot fish, opening and closing my mouth every few seconds. Jiyong shrugged and said, “I guess we’re a little awkward around each other.”

Crinkling her nose, she took in his view into account. “I suppose you’re right…, since we don’t know each other that well.”

“Then we should do something to improve our ‘relationship’ or we’re never going to finish this CF.” He couldn’t help but smile when he saw her making a cute expression for everything.

Tapping her jaw, she asked him. “What should we do though?”

Recalling that the PD said something about Yoona’s liking for food he suggested they go and get some ice cream.

Her face brightened up immediately upon hearing his suggestion, her smile was like the sun, it infected him to grin back at her.

After disguising themselves the best they could, they departed to find an ice cream parlor.

Minutes after… “Oppa! there’s one over there!” Yoona shouted excitedly grabbing his hand. While he let her drag him towards the place she was pointing at, he relished at the feeling of her small hand in his. It was a perfect fit. And the way she said “oppa” made him feel like he was the luckiest man.

It wasn’t until Yoona reached for her money, did she realize she was still clinging unto his hand. She released it as if she was burned, the two of them couldn’t help but miss the warmth that was there a minute ago.

After getting their ice cream, they sat in a little corner of the shop. Jiyong watched as she away at her ice cream, she was so much like a child. Noticing eyes on her she stopped and looked up.

Jiyong chocked, he had been caught staring. “So how do you like your ice cream?” He asked her trying to divert her attention.

 Flashing him a view of her pearly whites, she went back to eating her ice cream. He laughed “I’m glad you like it.”

“Sunbae aren’t you going to eat your ice cream? It’s going to melt soon.” At the sound of her calling him sunbae again he faltered, he liked oppa much better. Rather than pointing this out to her, he listened to her advice and ate his ice cream in peace.

They sat in silence eating away at their sweets. “I’m actually a huge Big Bang fan.” Yoona began to speak as she finished up eating.

“I remember Hyori-noona telling me something about that, you guys even came to our concert. I thought it was just noona pulling a joke on us.” The young man said thinking back to the past.

“Nope, I told noona that Soshi were huge fans of Big Bang, so she told us she would introduce us.”

 “So which member do you like the best?” He knew he shouldn’t have asked but curiosity was killing him.

Scrunching her face, she thought hard before speaking up. “Daesang-sunbae I love his voice, or Seungri-sunbae he’s such a cute maknae.”

“Oh…” This is what he gets for asking, disappointment.

Upon seeing the displeasure in his face, she continued. “Well I used to like you, Jiyong-sunbae, the best. But after the bowling incident I …”

He flushed in mortification as he heard her confession. “Aniyo, I had a little too much to drink that day, so… well I’m not normally like that so it’s all just a misunderstanding really.”

“Oh jinja? I’m glad sunbae is not normally like that…But now that I think about it your dance was pretty hilarious.” She laughed as she reminisced back to that night.

To his horror, and semi enjoyment she stood up and starting demonstrating his shameful dance. Standing up he joined her. As they finished their dance they busted out laughing leaning against each other for support.

Behind a hidden building their managers smirked at each other as they enjoyed the view. It looks like the awkwardness is gone.
