Author's Note- Hi guys next chapter is up and yes the plot is actually going somewhere. At least I think it is. So yeah enjoy the read.

   “That’s a nice melody. I can’t believe you came up with it by yourself,” Woohyun smiled as the final notes flowed out of the computer.

   “Thanks, I can’t come up with good lyrics to it though, that’s why I wanted to meet with you today. Since you are the singer I was thinking maybe if you could sing to the current lyrics I have it might help me rewrite,” Sunggyu suggested.

   “Don’t waste your time doing that,” Woohyun replied only for Sunggyu to glare at the blind man.

   “I thought you said you liked it,” Sunggyu sounded exasperated and Woohyun couldn’t help but chuckle at that.

   “I love it but it presents serious issues. First, it is an all piano tune, that means that the singer needs a lot of skill to pull of the-,” Woohyun was cut off.

   “You have enough skill for you to be able to pull this off, I mean true you might need to come over for some coaching but you are one of those people who has a voice meant for singing,” Sunggyu argued.

   “Not that I don’t love basking in your praise but I already know I can pull this piece off with some practice. You didn’t even let me get to the second problem. How are Howon and Dongwoo, who both prefer hip hop, going to react when you tell them to choreograph to a song which is practically all piano?” Woohyun reasoned.

   “, Howon would kill me, I guess I kind of forgot about them,” Sunggyu sheepishly commented. “So we should add a beat, to the piano then?”

   “No, that wouldn’t really help their case much,” Woohyun stated, “You know they would be totally happy if we managed to add segments with only beat.”

   “What about you? The more beat we add the less the vocal stands out,” Sunggyu pointed out.

   “That’s fine, I mean the main point of this is to model dance clothes-” Woohyun started only to be interrupted.

   “Bull, I am not going to have a song in which beat overpowers the person singing. If we’re going to compromise with beat only portions they are going to have to deal with having a few parts of the song without a beat. Oh, wait that means we have to start adding in the beats as well as deciding what parts from this version we are going to keep and we haven’t even started with the lyrics yet,” Sunggyu rambled and Woohyun couldn’t help the small smile at hearing how invested the man was in composing.

   “Hey I’ll stay over and try to help, weren’t you saying something about needing inspiration, I can still try and sing to the current version of the song if that will help any,” Woohyun offered.

   “Oh yeah that would be great, that way I can try to get a feel for your preferred range as well as try to help you improve,” Sunggyu commented, scribbling furious notes on his notepad. “Actually Woohyun, do you want to play around with some of the recorded drum beats and other stuff I have on my laptop.”

   “Wish I could but I sort of can’t see,” Woohyun pointed out and Sunggyu’s eyes widened with realization, waiting for the harsh reprimand. After about a minute Woohyun couldn’t help but notice the awkward silence. “You okay, Sunggyu?”

   “Y-yeah I’m fine. I’ll play around with the beats why don’t you just warm up,” Sunggyu was more than surprised at the fact that he was being chewed out but he wasn’t going to kick a gift horse in the mouth. They worked like that in comfortable silence, Woohyun singing whatever he wanted to and Sunggyu nodding his head along. A few experimental beat compilations all trashed because they were unusable, and iTunes playing so that Woohyun had something to sing too. Of course, Sunggyu’s concentration had to be broken by a song by Kim Ryeowook playing.

   “I can change the song,” Woohyun suggested, noting the fact that the sound of Sunggyu pounding away at his laptop had seemed to stall.

   “Please do,” Sunggyu requested and the piano was replaced by another instrument that he didn’t take note of. Woohyun just continued singing after that and Sunggyu found it awkward. “Is it hard?”

Woohyun stopped singing, “The song, oh no the vocal range isn’t all that complicated so I am doing fine.”

“No, being blind,” Sunggyu knew he didn’t have any right to be asking these questions but he decided it was about time he knew more about Woohyun. Soyeon was a lovable child but could never keep secrets. Therefore, Sunggyu was fairly certain that Woohyun knew more than enough information about him.

“I wouldn’t really know,” Woohyun’s answer took Sunggyu by surprise and when Woohyun didn’t continue he thought that would be it. However Woohyun did start up once again, “I mean for a few moments it was dark and everything hurt, but then when I woke up Sungyeol found me. Well, at least I’m pretty sure I was awake, but it was so painful I just can’t remember. Ever since then well I’ve had Sungyeol to tell me what everything looked like around me and so I guess that it feels more like I’m sleeping then that I’m blind.”

“You make yourself sound like sleeping beauty and that he’s your prince charming or something,” Woohyun couldn’t help but laugh at Sunggyu’s statement.

“You jealous?” Woohyun teased only for Sunggyu to splutter out a few unintelligible statements. “Loosen up, I was only joking.”

“Well, that wasn’t funny. Why are you so open to conversation? Not that I’m complaining or anything I mean it’s really nice that you-,” Sunggyu was cut off by a chuckle.

“Word barf, cute,” Woohyun commented and Sunggyu could practically hear confidence in the tone. “It was Soyeon actually, she asked me to ‘stay with Gyu-gyu because Gyu-gyu is like a big baby sometimes and needs a good lover to take care of him’. Now who am I to refuse that adorable girl?”

“She said that? Oh my god, what was she thinking saying stuff like that,” Sunggyu was mortified. “I am so sorry I don’t know what came over her.”

“Don’t sweat it, I find it sweet that she cares so much about you. You should be grateful to have such an involved little sister,” Woohyun replied, his voice still filled with mirth.

“She isn't my little sister. Aren’t we rivals? Why would you wanna get close to me,” Sunggyu pointed out only for Woohyun to laugh again.

“Rivals? Don’t give yourself that much credit, in all honesty, I didn’t really even know who you were before this project,” Woohyun sassed and Sunggyu groaned. Why was it that the person he had to work with ended up being the bipolar one?
