~~ This is a story I was in the process of writing but scrapped instead to make my other story, Rememory, thus why the beginning is so similar! It originally used to be JHope instead of JungKook too, but for some reason I can't find that version! I must have changed it in the draft ~~            

             Park Jimin is a studious student, who is currently ranked number three of her class. It’s her sophomore year at Seoul Ridge High School, a private boarding school. She isn’t rich by any means; at least not compared to her classmates. She is able to attend the elite school in the center of Seoul on a scholarship for theatre, plus her academic standing doesn’t hurt either. Although she lives on campus in the dorms, she often takes leaves to visit her family outside of the school during the weekend when she’s feeling homesick.

            This morning was no different from others, Jimin was returning to school from a weekend spent with her parents. Her first class would begin at 8:00 AM and it was already 7:45 by the time she got to her dorm room to change and get her belongings. She was running through the courtyard when she accidentally bumped into someone, knocking both of their things onto the floor. Jimin was in a hurry to class, she quickly gathered her things and kept apologizing. She couldn’t be clumsier.

             Despite obviously being annoyed, the boy she bumped into stayed back to help her grab her belongings that were scattered on the floor. Once she was able to get all her things together, she instantly booked it out of there.

            “Thank you! Sorry again!” Jimin shouted, she quickly turned around and did a half bow and then continued to run to class.

            “No wonder you bumped into me,” Kim Taehyung said under his breath,

 “You’re not even watching where you’re going” he continued.

            He was wiping the dust off his uniform before coolly heading to the cafeteria, when he noticed something left behind on the floor. He leaned over and scooped it up,

            “Waaait!” He called out to the girl, who was already entering the building. Man, I wouldn’t be able to catch up to her even if I tried. He looked down and turned the cell phone around in his hand. He swiped to unlock it, but of course, she had a password. He tried to do easy passwords, before locking her phone for one minute.

            “Aish… I can’t even be nosy when I want to.” Taehyung complained to himself. He looked down at her lock screen, it was a picture of her and her friends. He couldn’t figure out which one she was though. He noticed something on the top left of the screen that said, “Park Jimin.” She was also had incoming text messages, one specifically read, “Jamie, where are you – why aren’t you in class yet?” from someone named Luizy.

            Taehyung chucked to himself, “She must be a fan… well, I’ll grant her wish today.” Taehyung put the phone in his pocket as he inched closer to the cafeteria. He made his way to the table where his friends were seated, being greeted by every girl that passed him. He sat down and pulled out the girl’s phone,

            “Jimin-ah,” he cooed.

            “One of your fans dropped her phone, you should give it back to her personally,” Taehyung continued.

            Park Jimin perked up at the comment, it was making his morning even brighter. Out of everyone in the friend group, he was the least down to earth. He was one of the most popular, and to be honest, he liked the attention.

            “Oh, really? What’s her name?” Jimin replied nonchalantly.

            “Uhhh.” Taehyung tried looking at the phone again, “No idea. It just says Park Jimin on the top and then Jamie in parenthesis. Here’s her photo, but I don’t know which one is her… didn’t really get a good look” Taehyung reached over the table to show him, when suddenly a hand interrupted the exchange and grabbed the phone.

            Both Jimin and Taehyung looked at Jeon Jung Kook in confusion. JungKook had been half-asleep the entire time,

            “Hyung…” JungKook sighed. “She isn’t a fan of Park Jimin,” he scoffed.

            “Her name is Park Jimin. I know her. I mean, I’m friends with her… sort of. I’ll take the phone back to her; we have the same homeroom teacher.” he said while getting up from the table,

            “That being said, I’ll catch you guys later.” Jungkook headed to his class.

            Taehyung looked at Jimin who lost interest after finding out the girl wasn’t his fan and said,

            “That was weird.”  It was unusual for the maknae of their group to take interest in anyone else but himself – especially not a girl.  JungKook was usually very guarded, despite everyone at school being friendly towards him. The moment passed and the group separated to head to class.

            JungKook met Park Jimin, who introduced herself as Jamie to him when she was assigned his lab partner in the ninth grade. He was surprised to find out she shared the same name as one of his closest friends, but the most surprising part was when she was the only person who he’s met that seemed unfazed by his friend group. Out of any one he met in school, she was the only one who didn’t ask about his hyungs – even the teachers would ask about his hyungs. He spoke to her a lot last year, although the conversations were short, he learned a lot about her. She had moved from Thailand, where she was studying throughout middle school. She wasn’t exactly smart, but she was hard working – which is why she got such great grades. Her two best friends were Baek Yerin, who was in the same year as them and Baek Ah Yeon who was a senior. She spoke fluent English, was an only child, and she was into musicals. Hell, she’s the reason he joined Theatre Club. Although the club met up once a week and he mostly worked behind the scenes while she was an actress, it gave him a good excuse to spend time with her. However, this year eventhough they're in the same class, they don’t talk as much. That was due to his own dilemma, he was never able to introduce her to his friends and thus he was never able
